New Home - 13

Erica's POV

It has been a few weeks since we escaped the Planet Kingdom. Oddly, the names of the countries are about the galaxy, probably because this is an otome game. We have found a new home to rest our heads and to keep us warm and sheltered. It was an apartment building, which is not too expensive and not too cheap and isn't a terrible place to live in, it has wifi which is good.

I have made Takeo go to a school, even though he's a fox kin but I made him train weaponry and fighting. I have saved a lot of money since I was a noble, the money they gave me everyday to buy jewelry or delicacies was really a lot so I didn't have any problem with anythung that much. Even though we still have a lots of money, bored I am- I decided to work at a café since I wanted to act normal and maybe get some information.

I woke up early and made a delicious Omelet for breakfast as Takeo finished taking a bath and putting on his cute uniform. I then removed my apron, washed my hands and sat down and waited for Takeo to sit down on the table with me.

"Morning." He yawned.

"Are you sure you aren't getting bullied because of you being a fox kin?" I ask worriedly.

"Yes Im not being bullied. This kingdom is a place where beast and human can live together ya' know." He reminded me again. We ate our breakfast and after we finished, I washed the plates and asked if he forgotten anything. Checking if he didn't forgot anything, I waved him good bye as he left.

I then stretched my arms and went to the bathroom and cleaned myself. After finishing cleaning, I went to my closet and wore a dress with a pendant in the center of the collar with ruffles underneath it. Sleeves were long and made it look elegant. White skirt reaching her knees, with a black cloth reaching her waist covering her skirt. (IDK what I just wrote. I tried me best.)

As she finished putting on her dress, she paired it with a silky smooth sock with a ribbon design on the top side, paired with a pair of black shoes from work. She looked into the mirror and saw her dyed platinum gold hair, and her still sharp violet eyes. She doesn't look like the Erica that bullies the heroine. She tied her hair into a ponytail and put on her magic earings used to call the person wearing the same pair of earings, which is of course- Takeo.

She then went outside with her magical purse and her ring in her middle finger and walked elegantly as she went to the café a few blocks from here.

She arrived and went into the backdoor to change into her work clothes and began working elegantly. Many men sighed and watched her work and wished to be the boyfriend of the Ice Queen. Erica liked the attention but it didn't let it distract herself as she worked effeciently. She then sat down as the customers stopped flowing in. She is currently sitting in the open, with the customers sneaking glances at her. Her usual customers then started to chat with her, which Erica just smiled and chatted as well.

"Have you heard? The prince of the Planet Kingdom, the largest kingdom, wanted to go here? My friends says, who is living in the Planet Kingdom, that he is looking for someone?" A girl customer said.

"I wonder if he's looking for a bride? Maybe he'll set his eyes on Erica?" B girl customer squeeled in delight.

"Didn't the news say that someone from the Planet Kingdom, escape and they are currently looking for them? Maybe the one they're looking for is a criminal?" C girl customer thought. She pushed her glasses up and looked at me. "What do you think, Erica?" 'Yep. Still used the name of the villianess...'

"I don't really know since I don't watch the news that often." I shrugged.

"Awww.. that's okay. Anyway, I heard that the festival this month is going to be even more festive and better than last year!" B girl customer changed the subject.

"Really? I'm so excited!" A girl customer squeeled. They then began chatting by themselves as I sighed and noticed a handsome male customer just sat down. I excused myself from them and head over to the familiar looking customer.

His soft jet black hair made me want to touch it, his ruby colored eyes hidden by his bangs, and his pale skin glowed, he was wearing a dark gray jacket and jeans and you can tell that he was tall even when his sitting.

I went over to him and smiled, "Welcome to Koffee Café, you must be new here?" I looked at him closely and realized who he was.

He smirked as he saw my suprise, "Stare all you want, I'll allow you." His familiar seductive voice reached my ears and my face flushed. The three girls I was talking to, giggled at my red face. They quickly look away and was still giggling. The boys who saw my expression stared in envy and jealousy at the guy who made me flushed.

I quickly regained my compuser and coughed to hide my embarassment. "What would you like to have today?" I ask, my voice shaking a bit but I think he didn't notice.

"You." He smirked as he looked at me. 'Damn he's good at flirting.'

"Sorry sir but I'm not interested." I looked at him in the eye and finally saw his face. Hades!

"What-- what would you like to order that is not me?" I panicked but quickly regained my composure.

"I'll have a dark coffee." I quickly started to make one as he stared at me as I work, I ignored his stares and continue working. After I finish giving him his order, I went to the three girls as they made hand signs saying 'come here.'

"Who's he?" They ask me.

"I don't know, I just met him today." I lied.

"He's really handsome." The three girls giggled and continued chatting by themselves as Erica continued to work as costumers came in.

She finished her work and decided to go home quickly tonight. She then noticed someone following her. She pulled out her wand from her hand as she walked like she didn't notice anything that was happening. It continued to follow her. She walked into a dark alleyway and stopped. She looked behind her and saw one of the costumers that she worked in followed her, also carrying a wand in his hand.

"Erica..." he murmered. Erica, having none of it today just straight up summoned up vines and electricuted him and left the scene. She arrive home and saw Hades sitting in her couch.

"Yo." He greeted. Erica blink and realized that this hottie was really here. You can never be sure if hotties are actually in your house.

"What are you doing here? Who are you?" She then pointed her wand at him as he smiled and just raised his hands in the air in surrendor.

"Aw come one. You can't forget about me, Im Hades remember? Im here because it's boring without you!" He smirked. I then wrapped him in vines but he quickly cancelled it out with his wand that I didn't see he had hidden in his long sleeved gray jacket.

"Sir you must have gotten me wrong for someone. I've never met you in my life since today." I lied again.

I then quietly chanted the lightning spell and began to attack him with it. He dodged it and I quickly transfered my wand and pulled out my 2 pairs of dark violet kusarigamas. It was a japanese weapon that has a long sickle with a special strong ribbon attached to it, it also can transform into a gun which is good for long range and short range. I swinged one towards his direction but he quickly jumped high enough to miss it. I use the other kusarigama that wasn't swunged and changed it to a gun and began shooting at him. He missed it all as he smirked, he pulled out his broadsword and swung heavily at my direction. A sharp dark wind was created and I quickly pulled out my wand from my ring again and summoned a light shield and stopped it from destroying the floor.

"Damn. I'll be back soon. I have some matters to attend to." He stopped fighting and put back his broadsword in a dark portal. He waved good bye and went in the portal.

I breathed a sigh of relief and sat on the couch. 'Im getting a bit lazy. Should excercise more.' I reminded myself as I stretched my arms and return my wand and prepared dinner.

Takeo arrived back and gave me a warm smile as he went to his room to change. He wore the cute pajama that I bought for him and sat down on the chair and waited for me to finish cooking. After I finished, I placed it on the table as we the ate in silence.

I finished and stretched my arms again. "So how was school today?" I ask Takeo.

"We practiced with each other today. I also learned a lot about plants and we learned basic defense magic spells." He said. I smiled and washed our plates. I helped him with his homeowrk and watch some movies and slept while watching one of them.

We continued doing this lifestyle for a month until I decided to start packing again. I shall find the weapon that my maid, Ellen, told me about. But will Takeo be okay If I leave him here alone? Should I bring him with me on this journey?

It seems that Im busy with school and cannot make it longer than I want to.

Or maybe Im losing interest? Nah!

We have been practicing dancing for an event making my body tired from working too much than these weak little arms and legs can do.
