Chapter 1392
Always Been Yours
Chapter 1392 The Sweet Goodbyes and Separation âFinally, you guys are back. I was about to call and remind you if you didnât come back soon.â
She had been missing the children. She didnât care whether Tessa and Nicholas agreed to it or not, but she was going to watch the children for a few days. âThe children will stay with me at the mansion for a while. Once Iâm satisfied, Iâll send them back.â
Nicholas nodded in agreement and said, âSure, Iâll have the servants pack their things, and you can take them with you.â
Tessa had no objections.
As her days were filled with rehearsals, taking care of the children, and rehabilitation exercises, she was already exhausted. Moreover, Gordon was practically glued to her.
If Stefania could help out, it would mean that Tessa would be able to catch her breath.
That evening, Stefania picked up the children while Gordon was asleep because she worried that Gordon might not want to leave Tessa. Soon after she left, Kieran and Timothy arrived for dinner.
During the meal, they chatted and laughed. Kieran even brought up the news of Tessaâs recent performance. âMy sister-in-lawâs fame is now higher than those celebrities.â
âCan they even compare to my sister?â Timothy thought those celebrities werenât worthy enough to be compared to his sister.
Kieran was speechless. âI mean, do you need to argue about this?â
âTim is right. Those celebrities canât hold a candle to your sister.â Nicholas agreed with Timothyâs opinion.
Kieran was completely speechless.
âOkay, arguing about this with you guys when you are obsessed with your sister and wife is pointless.
Iâd rather drink,â he said and raised his beer to drink. Nicholas ignored him and turned to a more serious topic. âI found out that the Quinn Family used their connections to get Harper released. The matter was pushed aside and blamed on an irrelevant subordinate. Although they havenât caused any trouble recently, you should still be cautious.â
âIâve been keeping an eye out and have also hired some bodyguards,â Timothy replied as he explained his arrangements.
Nicholas offered his assistance. âIf you need anything, you can come to me.â
Timothy nodded and then changed the topic. âMy study abroad program has been confirmed. Iâm going abroad next month,â he said.
Tessa was taken aback by the news. âYouâre leaving next month? Isnât it almost time for Christmas?
Thatâs so fast,â she said.
âI want to leave early and return early,â Timothy replied, knowing his sister would be reluctant to see him go. Actually, he would miss her as well.
She nodded in understanding and said, âThatâs a good idea. The earlier you go, the more time youâll have to learn.â
Regardless, she couldnât hold her brother back.
Butâ¦
She turned to Sabrina with concern and asked, âWhat do you think?â
