Chapter 481
Always Been Yours
âM-Master Nicholas, why are you here?â
Colin stepped forward to greet him with trepidation when he inmediately recognized Nicholas âidentity.
Nicholas glanced at him, then said, âIâm here to pick up my girlfriend.â
With that, he stepped forward and placed his arms around Tessa.
She looked at the man next to her in surprise, and her panicked heart suddenly eased.
She couldnât conceal the sweet smile on her face when she asked, âWhy are you here?â
âI was worried knowing that you were coming to a bar. So Iâve been waiting outside because I was afraid that someone would cause trouble for you.â
Nicholas swept a cold glance over Colin, his eyes full of hostility as he spoke.
Colin only felt a chill spreading from the soles of his feet to his whole body, causing his legs to tremble a little.
âM-Master Nicholas, Iâm in the wrong. I didnât know she was your woman. Iâm sure a great man like you would be a generous one as well. Please spare me.â
He quickly bowed and apologized. His behavior was extremely sincere, and his previous arrogance could no longer be seen.
The members of the orchestra were stunned, especially Kathleen.
She never expected Tessaâs boyfriend to be so powerful.
The people around them were also shocked as they guessed Nicholasâ identity.
After all, these people werenât in the inner circle of Southend, and there were rarely any photos of Nicholas, so it was normal for them not to know Nicholas.
Nicholas ignored the whispers around him, raised his eyes slightly, and said coldly, âThis matter has nothing to do with my girlfriend, so I wonât do anything to you.â
When Colin heard this, his suspended heart eased.
He immediately expressed his gratitude. âThank you, Master Nicholas. Thank you, Master Nicholas.â
âYouâre thanking me too early. I havenât finished yet,â Nicholas interrupted.
Colinâs smile froze in the next second, and his eased heart panicked again.
Nicholas continued, âAlthough I wonât do anything to you, whoever provoked her will be responsible. Do you understand what I mean?â
How could Colin not understand this?
This matter had nothing to do with the rest of the orchestra or Tessa. The only person involved was Kathleen..
He understood, and so did the others, including Kathleen.
âWhat do you mean by that?â
Her eyes blazed as she questioned Nicholas.
Nicholas stared back at her with frighteningly cold eyes. âYou didnât know when to stop. You brought all this trouble to the orchestra due to your actions, yet you still tried to put my girlfriend in harmâs way.
Does she owe you anything?â
Kathleen couldnât refute after being questioned by those sharp and pointed words.
However, it was also because she was undoubtedly frightened by the aura emanating off Nicholasâ
body.
Her face was ashen, and she grudgingly retorted, âSheâs a local. Shouldnât she come forward if something goes wrong?â
As soon as she said that, not only did the members of the orchestra show disapproval, but Tessaâs face turned sour as well.
The look on Nicholasâ face was even nastier, and his low voice was sullen. âHow impenitent. Who will teach people like you a lesson if no one does?â
âNo! You canât do that.â
Kathleen was truly panicking now.
Nicholas didnât listen to her at all. Instead, he walked to the side with his arms around Tessa after he said his piece.
âIâve notified your mother, Hathaway, to come over. Weâll see what she plans to do with this matter.â
Tessa leaned against Nicholas and didnât stop him.
Due to how detestable Kathleenâs behavior was, it had already crossed her bottom line.
However, she was still a little uneasy.
She leaned in close to his ear and asked softly, âIs it really okay to do this?â
Despite everything, Kathleen was her teacherâs daughter, so she was worried that her teacher would be upset when she arrived.
Nicholas looked down at the woman in his arms, saw through her concern, and said softly, âDonât worry. Itâll be fine.â
Her worries eased when she saw that he had a plan in mind.
Meanwhile, Colin could discern Nicholasâ disgust for Kathleen.
In order to please Nicholas, he intended to make things hard for this foreign woman.
