Chapter 731
Always Been Yours
Chapter 731 I Wonât Force Myself Edward was frightened, so he hurriedly went to book a flight. He didnât remember Wanda at all throughout the entire time and only recalled when the front desk called to ask him again.
âMr. Jackson, Miss Muller would like to know if the president is free.â
âTell Miss Muller that the president is in a meeting and has no time to meet guests.â
After he finished speaking, he hung up the phone directly.
When Wanda knew that Nicholas didnât have time to see her, she didnât bother him anymore despite feeling disappointed.
That afternoon, Nicholas flew directly to Vienna.
On the other side, Tessa didnât know that Nicholas had arrived.
She tossed and turned in bed but couldnât sleep, feeling that her previous approach regarding the pregnancy was too immature. Even if she didnât understand what was going on, she shouldnât have treated Nicholas like that. She barely slept all night because of this incident, and she became even more haggard.
Sebastian looked at her worriedly. âMiss Tessa, youâre looking unwell. You should rest at home today.â
âNo, Iâm fine.â
Tessa shook her head and refused. When she recalled how she had hung up on Nicholas last night, she planned to call and apologize.
However, after she dialed his phone number, she was told that the phone had been turned off.
Tessa proceeded to put down the phone, feeling very depressed.
Nicholas must be angry, but it doesnât matter. Iâll wait for his anger to subside, then contact him again and apologize.
Tessa comforted herself before she put on some light makeup to cover her pale complexion. Then, she finally went to the orchestra.
Even so, she was in a bad state. While practicing, she made several silly mistakes.
Mona looked at her friend and was a little worried.
âTess, are you alright?â
âIâm fine, so donât worry.â
Tessa smiled and shook her head.
Mona was still concerned as she said, âI donât think youâre fine. If youâre not feeling well, letâs go back to rest.â
Hearing this, Tessa felt warm in her heart. âDonât worry, I wonât force myself. If Iâm really ill, Iâll ask for leave and get some rest.â
Since Mona could see Tessaâs persistence, she didnât insist any further. Instead, she took good care of Tessa when the latter was resting.
After training that night, Tessa said goodbye to Mona and went home directly.
Sebastian said, âMiss Tessa, dinner is ready. Should I bring it to your room?â
Tessa nodded and went back to the bedroom.
After a brief shower, she began to eat. The dinner was delicious, but she still had no appetite. She had just eaten a few mouthfuls when her stomach began to churn again.
âUghâ¦â She covered her lips and rushed all the way into the bathroom while Sebastian looked on worriedly outside the door.
Just before he came forward, he saw Nicholas coming up from downstairs.
âYouâre here, Master Nicholas.â
He looked at Nicholas in surprise.
The latter nodded and looked around the room, but he didnât see Tessa. âWhereâs Tessa?â
âMiss Tessa is in the bathroomââ
Before Sebastian finished speaking, Nicholas walked directly inside.
Unexpectedly, as soon as he walked over, he saw Tessa lying against the sink as she retched.
When Tessa was vomiting, she suddenly heard Nicholasâ voice from behind. âWhatâs wrong?â
âWhy are you here?â
She was very startled as she looked at Nicholas, who had suddenly appeared at the door, and took a few steps back guiltily.
Nicholas saw her dodging gaze and furrowed his brows. Soon, his expression became uglier; Tessaâs state at this time was not just the average kind of bad. Her complexion was ghastly and blue, and her lips were bloodless.
âWhat exactly is going on?â
Nicholas stared at Tessa with his dark eyes, questioning her as he approached the woman. Meanwhile, Tessa looked at the serious expression that he never had before and felt guilty. She wanted to escape, but there was absolutely no way out since there was a sink behind her. In the end, she could only hold onto it anxiously while she lowered her head without saying a word.
