Chapter 9 - Time for holidays
Timmy (bxb) - Wattpadprize14
..no, no, no, no, no, not for Nathan and Timmy. For me. I think I need some loooooooooong holidays. :-D
My new bestest friend Cliff Hanger invited me tonight :-)
___
When Timmy woke up he felt so cuddly and warm. Over the night both young men changed into their human form and now Timmy was wrapped around Nathan and he felt at home. His scent was soothing him, his warmth was warming not only his body but his heart.
And the snoring coming from his mate was a serious indicator for the loss of whole forests.
Timmy smiled happily and snuggled even a bit closer.
Finally he had his mate.
âBuddy?â he asked his wolf sleepily. âYeah?â answered his wolf. âDid you ever feel like that?â Buddy didnât need to think. âNo. Never. And I donât want to lose that. You?â Timmy shuddered. âNo. Never.â
A big black wolf strolled into their conversation. He fell down on his belly, huffing loudly. âEver tried to sleep with a sound machine?â he asked grumpily. Buddy snuggled into the bigger wolf and said: âI donât mind. Itâs our mate. He can be as loud as he wants.â Timmy nodded fiercely. Nathan grumbled. "We'll see if you think that after countless sleepless nights."
The wolves fell back asleep, but Timmy found himself on his back, kissed by an unshaved and unshowered Nathan who had a horrible morning breath.
Timmy loved it.
Nathan pecked him once more and said: âLetâs go shower.â Timmy nodded eagerly. âAnd breakfast.â Both men felt the wolves perking up with hearing the word âbreakfastâ.
After a long and not so relaxing shower they made their way to the kitchen. The scent of fresh brewed coffee wafted through the air together with some other scents. âEwww⦠old people sex.â Buddy said, scrunching his nose.
When they entered the kitchen, they saw Germaine sitting at the table, looking at them approvingly. Sarah hugged her son tightly, not saying anything. It wasnât necessary. Connor looked sternly at Nathan. âYou know, normally I wouldnât say that, seeing that we held our mate higher than our lives. But in your case I think it seems fit: Hurt him and you have a problem. Me.â Nathan nodded. âSeems legit. But if I had known what I knew now, I wouldnât have rejected him. There is no way.â
Germaine looked at him. âSo now you understand why we are not standing up against Alpha?â he asked through their special Link. Nathan thought a moment about that and paled. âThey are threatening the mates?â Germaine looked at Nathan grimly. âNot only threaten. What do you think how Alpha was able to kill your father? A wolf much more powerful than him? Luna killed your mother first. And your father just lost it. The pain was too much and he was happy when Alpha carried out the final blow.â
Nathan looked at Timmy, and thinking about losing that precious life, just when he found him, caused pain in his chest.
âThen how am I supposed to do what you expect?â he asked almost desperate. Germaine looked in his cup of coffee, stirring around like he expected to find the answer to all questions in it. âI donât know, Nathan. But somehow you have to find the strength and the will to challenge Alpha AND win. The pack is desperate. We all canât take much more, but we need a strong leader. A leader who is looking for the prosperity of the pack and not for his own measly butt.â he looked up to Nathan, quietly challenging him.âAre you that man, Nathan? Are you the one who is strong enough to pull through? Are you brave enough to risk everything for the people who are not able to fight without somebody to lead them?â
Nathan shook his head. âRisking Timmy? Risking that my mate got hurt? Risking that he might die? You know who he is and you know that I canât risk him in more than one way. Itâs not only my mate who is at risk. He is way more and you know this.â Germaine nodded. âIf you are not able to help us, nobody is and the people living here are doomed to die and they will die soon. Time is running out, Nathan.â he stated sadly. âBut what do you mean he is way more?â Germaine asked, curiosity clearly written in his face. âHe is Timmy, our little happy-go-lucky-wolf. What else should he be?â Nathan looked at him, puzzled. âDid you ever see his wolf?â he asked Germaine and the Beta shook his head. âNo. Never. Why?â
Nathan looked a long time at Sarah and Connor, an idea popped in his head. Timmy never said that Alpha forbid him to change in his wolf. It was just that he needed permission. âTimmy?â he asked his mate. Timmy, who felt Nathans distress from earlier, was already snuggled up at his chest. He peeked up to him. âYeah?â he asked him. âWho exactly forbade you to change into your wolfâ Timmy hesitated briefly and his eyes shot to his parents. That was the answer Nathan needed. âItâs okay, love, Iâm not angry. I just wanted to know it.â
Nathan finished his breakfast and turned to Timmyâs parents. âIâm sorry for the change of moods, but I need a place to stay.â Sarah cocked an eyebrow and looked at him questioningly. Nathan briefly explained the situation with his mother without mentioning Timmys stern reply. âAs long as my mother is not coming to terms with the past, there is no place for me in that house. And anyways: Iâm an adult, and I needed my own house sooner or later. And now itâs becoming much more important, seeing that I have to make a living for us both.â
Connor smiled. âTimmyâs able to make a living for himself. He worked part time in a garage, fixing cars and motorbikes. He is actually pretty good at that.â Nathan looked at him, smiling. âAnd when did you plan to tell me this little detail?â Timmy scratched his head sheepishly. âWellâ¦ermmâ¦.. now?â he asked with big eyes. Nathan chuckled and pecked his nose.
âI want to go to the forest with Timmy. Would you mind that? It seems like his wolf need a run and stretch his legs.â Sarah got a bit fussy, but she had no real chance to deny this wish, seeing that her son was now really an adult and grown out of her responsibility.
Timmy looked at Nathan with such an excitement that Nathan was sure he did the right thing. âReally?â he asked eagerly and Nathan nodded. "Germaine will follow us." Connor furrowed his eyebrows. âNathâ¦â he started, but Nathan looked at him and shook his head and Timmyâs father understood: Nathan knew exactly who Timmy was. And what they did to protect him. Connor laid his arm over the shoulder of his nervous wife to soothe her. He would explain later.
âCâmon, letâs go.â Nathan announced and found himself dragged out of the house from an overly excited Timmy.
When they reached the forest, both men stripped naked and changed into their wolf. Timmy yipped excitedly and jumped around like a little pup. Nathan smiled indulgently at him, nudged the little wolf and nodded in the direction of the forest. Timmy understood and both wolves took off.
They ran for a while until they reached a little rivulet running through the forest. Both wolves lapped some water and played around. After a while they took off again and ran like the happy nutcases they both actually were. Timmy nudged his bigger mate and Nathan pretended to stumble over him, sending them rolling on the floor and surely it ended in a happy mating.
Finally they reached the clearing and the never failing Germaine was waiting for them there. Nathan stepped protected Timmy with his bigger frame out of an instinct but Timmy nudged him away. âIâm no damsel in distress and this is just Germa...huh?â Timmy looked at Germaine who looked at him, completely frozen and his jaw hanging down.
Timmy became a little distressed and checked his golden fur for some stains. âNathan, did I have something strange in my fur?â he asked his mate, trying desperately to look at his back. Nathan, seeing his mate getting more and more upset, decided to do something, silently urged by Nate who showed signs of distress also.
Nathan stepped over the smaller wolf and simply laid down, effectively trapping him under his belly. Timmy yipped desperately because he couldnât understand what was happening with Germaine who still stood like a statue of idiocy and slowly started to drool.
To calm him down he changed into his human form and whispered in his ear: "Calm down, love. Calm down. All is fine, seriously. There is nothing âstrangeâ in your fur and there is nothing wrong with you. Perhaps itâs just that the Beta has too much gas in his belly and needs a good fart.â
With that Timmy calmed down immediately and started to giggle, picturing a huge green gas cloud surrounding the Beta and dead plants all around him. Buddy broadcasted this to him and Nate, and he chuckled. âOkay?â Nathan asked him to make sure he was not freaking out for nothing. âOkayâ Timmy confirmed happily, licking his face and snuggling into his side.
Finally Germaine woke up. âOh wow⦠I never saw Timmys wolf. I thought he was ashamed of it, perhaps because itâs no wolf but a Chihuahua. But I never expected THAT. A sun wolf? A real sun wolf?â he asked in awe.
Nathan nodded. Germaine shook his head. âNathan we have a problem. The rogues are getting stronger and are infesting more and more pack ground. Alpha is doing nothing against it - and I think he is doing it on purpose. To me it looks like the rogues want to turn over the pack territory and Alpha let them. I think he has a deal with them.â
Nathan nodded. âThat was what I wanted to talk about sooner or later. Yes, he is doing it on purpose. He really has a deal with the rogues. The lost puppies of the pack are sold by them to humans who know about werewolves. They were mostly trained to be watchdogs and when they are older they fight in an Arena or are used as lab rats to find out the best way to kill a werewolf. Pleasure for the big money.â Germaine paled visibly, getting anxious. âAnd he has a deal with the rogues. They want to built a new pack, rogues only. Â And they paid him a huge amount of money for the territory.â
Nathan took a deep breath. âHis betrayal is so big, Germaine, you canât even imagine. I donât know his exact plans, but this is no rocket science. He sold the pack to the rogues and he deliberately weakened the borders of the territory in order to help the rogues to turn over. He has already some flight tickets to the Cayman Islands where he has deposited all pack money you all worked so hard for the last years. I think he will kill the pack, seeing that he has now what he wants.â
Germaine closed his eyes. âAnd I was his Beta and helped him. I am no better than this criminal and I am guilty as him. My son, my precious little son. He sold him too.â he closed his eyes and showed his throat. âBetter kill me. I donât deserve to live. My son.â Germaine sobbed freely, looking completely devastated. Nathan looked at him in disbelief. Nate scoffed. âIs that guy for real?â he asked, not really believing what Nathans ears told him.
âGermaine, for sure I will NOT kill you. Come on, get some brain back in that thick head of yours. Killing you will solve nothing, it will cause the death of your mate and we are losing a fighter we need for the fight against the rogues.â Nathan said firmly. Germaine looked at him with teary eyes. âNow I know why you are destined to be Alpha.â Nathan looked at the Beta, shaking his head. âGermaine, are you somewhat drunk or on drugs?â he asked warily.
Germaine looked taken aback. âNo, why?â he asked, a little puzzled. âBecause you are acting completely out of character and this is scaring me.â A shudder went through Germaine and he shook his head. âWe better train your ass off, this fight is coming faster than I thought.â
Nathan grinned at him. âThatâs my man.â Germaine shuddered. âNo, thanks. I have a mate.â With that they started their training.
Nathan was indeed learning fast. A not so little help was, that he learned Thai-Boxing in College as well as Krav-Maga. So Germaine had only to teach him the different way of fighting while in wolf form.
The whole time they trained, Timmy laid flat on his belly, whimpering softly and covering his eyes from time to time with his paws.
Nathan, his eyes bright from all the Adrenaline, nudged his mate gently. âCome on, we are finished for today. I want to go back.â Timmy jumped up, almost knocking him over and with a âYAYâ he took off from the clearing, tail swishing in the air and ears flat at the head in an excited mad dash.
Nathan sighed and followed him suit. When they reached the place they dropped off their clothes Nathan and Timmy both stopped dead in their tracks.
In front of them, on the big place in front of Timmyâs house the whole pack was gathered.
But what they disturbed the most was:
Alpha stood in front of them, Luna was nowhere in sight and the pack was surrounded by ruffled looking rogues Nathan could smelled up to their place. He could see his and Timmys parents in the front row.
âOh shit. This looks bad.â he thought.
