Nitya left me in Rudra's room. It was fully decorated with rose petals and candles-just romantic, but I was nervous.

I was not ready for it It would be the first time I had not been mentally prepared for it. I sat on the bed nervously. The bed was covered with rose petals.

When I heard the click sound, I knew Rudra had walked in. I looked down nervously, and I heard footsteps near me. I took a deep breath and slowly looked up.

No matter how many times I look at him it's not enough, I just wanna keep looking at him. Now that I finally got to see him I wanna keep looking at him.

"Hey.."

He said with a sweet smile showing his dimple, which I found contagious. I gave him a small smile.

"Hey"

He sat beside me and held my hand. His touch sends shivers through my spine. Which didn't go unnoticed by him.

"Are you nervous?"

He asked, raising an eyebrow, I didn't want to show him that I was nervous.

"N...no"

I mentally facepalmed myself for shuttering, the hell did I just shutter?

"Not nervous?"

He asked leaning closer, I should move back right but I didn't. I stayed at my place.

"No"

I spoke trying to sound confident, he smirked tf did he just smirked. He leaned closer, close enough our nose was almost touching.

"It's our wedding night Mrs. Chauhan, anything can happen, are you not nervous?"

He whispered in his deep voice. Which sent shivers through my spine. I gulped and closed my eyes tight nervously.

I felt his lips not on my lips but on my forehead. His lips stayed on my forehead for a few seconds before pulling off.

I opened my eyes only to see him giving me a warm smile.

"Don't be nervous... I am your husband, not your boss, be comfortable with me stop me if you don't like me doing anything, if you feel like something isn't going your way tell me. If you find yourself in any difficulty call me, remember I'm just a call away"

It would be wrong if I said I didn't feel anything. His each word sounds genuine to me, his blue-green eyes say it all. He spoke and got up.

"You must be tired go freshen up and you can sleep"

I simply nodded and went to the bathroom grabbing my towel. I locked the bathroom door and rushed to the sink. I looked in the mirror and cupped my cheeks.

"God why am I blushing so much, my cheeks are redder than a tomato..."

I rubbed my face, taking a few breaths, I removed my saree and stepped into the glass door. I took a warm shower. After showering I wore cute night PJs and walked in the room.

Rudra had already changed and was on a call. I sat in front of the dressing table applying moisturizer. My skin is dry so I need to apply it from time to time.

I went to bed and sat on one side. Rudra was still on call. I was used to taking sleeping pills because of my insomnia. Good thing I brought my pills with me.

I took the bottle and was about to pop one pill in my mouth. Rudra walked into the room. He frowned and walked closer. He picked up the bottle which I kept on the table.

"What pills is it?"

He asked scanning the bottle,

"Sleeping pills... I can't sleep so I take these"

His eyes turned serious, I know I know it's not okay to take these pills but what can I do... I am used to it now.

'Sleeping pills' it's the last thing I want my chashni to take. Once you are used to taking these you can't sleep without taking them. It's how one's Brain functions.

"But I can't sleep with taking it"

I sighed and sat beside her taking her hands in mine.

"I'll ask Maria to make chamomile tea, would you like to try it?"

I saw her eyes unsure, I couldn't force her to stop doing something she had been doing for so long.

I have insomnia too, I was used to taking sleeping pills too but Devansh suggested I try taking chamomile tea which surprisingly helped me.

Though I don't sleep much, whenever I do it helps me.

I drew a circle on her palm with my thumb.

"Trust me in this... I'm sure it will help you"

I saw her nod, I smiled and intercoms Maria. After informing her we both sat there in silence. Until I broke it.

"I know taking sleeping pills is an easy way but it has its disadvantages too... want me to consult it with Devansh?"

I saw her gulping.

"Is it normal? Having insomnia, unable to sleep at night without popping those pills? Is it normal to consult a doctor for this small thing?"

"Yes it is normal, if it's about our health everything related should be considered normal.. having insomnia consult doc, having acidity consult doc as long as our health isn't compromised"

I gave her an assuring smile, we heard a knock at the door. Maria had come with chamomile tea. He kept the cup on the side table and left.

I held the cup and handed it to her.

"Here drink it it'll help you"

She took the cup and sip by sip finished the tea.

"Good"

I kept the cup back on the side table and helped her lay down. I sat beside her covering her with a comforter.

"Now go to sleep"

She held my hand and closed her eyes. I sat there till she fell asleep as she was holding my hand. Even after she was in deep sleep her grip on my hand was tight. She didn't let go.

I sat there admiring her sleeping face. I removed the hair from her face and tucked it behind her ear.

I slowly tried taking my hand back but she frowned, letting out a whiny sound. I stayed still until her brows turned normal and I felt her breathing turn normal.

I sat there still until I didn't know when I fell asleep resting my head on the bed while my hands were held tightly in her hold.
