Chapter Six

I was woken by the sound of a something hitting the floor and then a lot of cussing. I squirmed in my spot, then I remembered that I was cuddling with Marcus. I turned my head so I could look at him. He looks so cute and peaceful when he sleeps. I thought with a smile. I turned so I could see where the noise came from and there was Alice, sitting on the floor holding her knee. I chuckled and felt Marcus move next to me. I jumped when he suddenly wrapped his arms around me and pulled me onto his lap. His hands resting on my hips. He snuggled his face into the crook of my neck and continued to sleep. My god this boy is going to be the death of me, even when he's sleeping he still gets to me. My heart is beating so fast I feel like it's going to burst out of my chest. My face was bright red, I'm sure. I turned my head to look at Alice, she was off the floor and was now standing above us with a smirk on her face.

I glared at her, "Shut up," I whispered.

"You guys are so cute! And he says he's straight." She scoffed.

"Shut up!" I repeated, "Let him sleep!"

"I think you'll be like that for a while," she whispered. "It's only 2:00."

"Seriously? It's that early?"

She nodded and I sighed, "I guess I better find a more comfortable position."

I gently shifted my butt backwards so I was sitting on the couch with my legs slung over his lap. His hands stayed on my hips and hey, I wasn't complaining. I wrapped my right arm around his shoulders and shifted his head so he was in a more comfortable position, but he just went right back to my neck. Tightening his grip on my hips in the process.

I sighed and looked up at Alice, "He's like a little puppy."

Alice chuckled softly, "he kinda is! That's why you two would make a prefect couple."

I blushed and muttered, "Go away and go back to bed."

Alice walked away while she quietly laughed.

I gazed at Marcus's face with a small smile. I pecked his forehead and snuggled into his chest, my eyes slowly closing as I drifted to sleep for the second time that night.

Yeah yeah, I know it's a short chapter but it's really cute and it seemed like a pretty good ending for a chapter.
