Rebirth and Finding the One Truly Loves Me by Christina
Chapter 108 She Rolled Down the Stairs
Kelsey felt her breathing quicken, her vision became blurry, and the blood in her b*dy surged faster.
âAudra, I sincerely came to apologize to youââ Kelsey didnât finish her sentence when she stumbled backwards a few steps. She was already close to the stairs, and as she stepped back, her foot missed a step and she fell down unexpectedly.
Audrey and the old lady heard a noise and turned around simultaneously.
Kelsey only felt a moment of darkness, her mind didnât even have time to think about why this was happening, her b*dy fell down the stairs. like a rolling snowball.
The forehead, back of the head, checks, and limbs were constantly rubbing against the stairs, as if the brakes had failed and could not be controlled.
Waves of pain radiated from every limb, but before she could even register the pain, her forehead violently collided with the corner of the staircase. There was a loud thud, and a warm, sticky liquid began to trickle down from her forehead.
The tip of the nose was all filled with the smell of blood.
The whole person had already been in so much pain that they lost consciousness!
She let out a sharp scream.
Hearing a noise, Elise from downstairs hurriedly rushed up, seeing
Kelsey who had fallen and was bleeding from her head, Elise suddenly widened her eyes, her voice hoarse as she shouted, âKel!â
The Watsonâs Hospital.
Kelsey had been taken to the emergency room.
Elise, with redârimmed eyes, paced back and forth at the door.
Rylan and Audrey stood aside.
Danna didnât come over, she couldnât stand the sight of blood. But before Kelsey was lifted onto the ambulance, the old lady said to Elise, âShe fell on her own, donât blame it on my Audra!â
An hour later, the attending physician came out of the emergency
room.
âThe injured person had a tenâcentimeter cut on his forehead, which required eight stitches, a mild concussion, and a broken left arm. There was no threat to his life.â
Elise was greatly shocked when she heard that Kelsey had split her forehead open with a tenâcentimeter gash.
If the wound was not treated properly, it would leave a scar in the future, and having a scar was equivalent to disfiguring!
Elise felt a burning sensation in her chest. Yesterdayâs issues hadnât settled down yet, and now something else had happened today!
She didnât think it was an accident!
âDoctor Wu, my daughter fell down from upstairs for no reason today, is there something wrong with her b*dy?â The old lady said it wasnât

Audrey who pushed her, but Elise had a premonition that this incident was somehow related to Audrey.
Dr. Wu glanced at Elise, then at Audrey and Rylan, and said gravely, âThe patientâs blood contains elements of Datura. Weâve pumped her stomach, itâs likely a foodârelated issue.â
Elise turned to Audrey, her gaze suddenly sharp, âAudra, it was you, wasnât it?â
Audrey didnât pay attention to Elise, instead she looked at Rylan who was standing beside her.
Last night. Dad said that no matter what happened in the future, he would always believe in her.
So then, would he still believe her unconditionally?
In the moment that Audreyâs clear eyes met his. Rylan did not question. or blame her as he had before. As the old lady said, three strikes and youâre out. If he continued to blindly distrust his own daughter, he would truly fail as a father!
Rylan wrapped his arms around Audreyâs slender shoulders, nodding at her, âDaddy believes in you.â
Tears welled up in Audreyâs eyes. She knew that her relationship with her father had become distant due to the instigation and covert harm of Elise and Kelsey. There was a lack of communication and trust between them.
She was moved to hear the word âbelieveâ from his mouth now.
Butâ
âDad, I donât want to hide it from you either, the soup that Kelsey drank did indeed contain Datura!â
