Against all odds - Minsung [✔]
The mall was filled with people at this hour, so it was somewhat crowded. In order not to lose each other, Jisung took Minho's hand while they strolled through the building.
He stopped when he noticed something interesting. It was a jewelry store that offered pretty necklaces, earrings and other various accessories you have in mind.
He took Minho's arm to guide him into the shop, and when they were inside, they were greeted by dazzling jewelries.
Jisung didn't notice Minho sending death glares to the other humans in the shop since he was too busy looking at the silver bracelets.
He considered buying one of them, but in the end decided against it. He moved on to the next display, this one showing several different rings.
He wasn't particularly interested in those since he and Minho already had rings of their own. But his eyes scanned over them regardless.
One of the shop's employees noticed the two and hurried over to them. "Hello," she said and smiled kindly. "Are you looking for wedding rings?"
Caught off guard by this, Jisung's eyes widened. He was at a loss for words and stared at the woman with his mouth hanging open.
"No," Minho replied before Jisung could even find his voice. "We're already married," he smirked devilishly. Of course he would say that.
"O-Oh, I see. Congratulations," the employee said sheepishly. "Then is there anything else I can help you with?"
Jisung blushed bright red and wanted to get out of here as soon as possible. "Not really. We just came here to look around for a bit," he explained. "We'll get going now."
They left the shop behind and took the escalator to the top floor where the arcade was.
The entrance was decorated with flashing neon signs and from inside, music and the chattering of people could be heard.
Upon entering, Jisung was overwhelmed by the countless blinking lights he saw everywhere. He hadn't been in here before and was surprised at how many arcade games they had put into the hall.
They walked around for a bit, looking at all the different kinds of games until Minho had spotted something that he found interesting.
It was one of those games that required you to use a gun to shoot at a monitor, and Jisung honestly wasn't too happy about trying it.
However, since it was meant to be played by two people, and Minho was already looking at him expectantly, he couldn't get himself to refuse.
"Do we really have to do this?" he whined and eyed the plastic gun in his hand. It was connected to the monitor with a wire and had a trigger just like a real gun.
"Yes. This is really fun," Minho grinned as he scrolled through the different options for the game.
"We should take turns in deciding which games we want to play. That way we'll both have fun," Jisung said when he laid eyes on a way more appealing game.
"Fine, we'll do it that way," he replied, and Jisung was happy with that.
They played several rounds of the shooting game, and of course, Jisung lost since Minho was better at aiming than him. In the end, he was faced with the demon's smug grin as he bragged about his win.
"It's my turn,"Jisung said, ignoring Minho's confidence and arrogance to pull him over to the game he had been eyeing the whole time.
It was a dancing game with several arrows on the ground that you needed to step on at the right time. Seeing it, Minho heaved a sigh.
"Jisung, what the hell? This looks boring," he nagged.
"It's not boring," he countered. "This is going to be fun! Let me just pick a song and then we'll start."
Jisung went through the song list and picked the cutest one he could find; "ASAP" by STAYC. Smirking evilly, he started the game and went to his spot next to Minho, getting ready to dance.
As soon as Minho heard the first tune of the song, he scoffed and glared at Jisung. "What is this?! Do you want to make a fool of me?"
"No," he giggled unconvincingly, keeping his eyes on the tv. He stepped on the arrows on the ground and collected points for himself while Minho just stood and stared at him.
"Hey, look, I'm winning!" he said, and that finally got the competitive demon to react.
"No, you're not!" he retorted and began to join Jisung, furiously stepping on the arrows. He was so fast that he even managed to catch up to him, gaining points rapidly.
Eventually, Jisung gave up and decided that it was more entertaining to watch Minho dance. By the time the song ended, he gaped at the demon and clapped.
"Wow! I didn't know that my husband was such a great dancer. That was amazing!" he gushed. Minho looked at him for a moment, remembering that he had an audience.
Awkwardly clearing his throat, he responded with flushed cheeks, "Of course it was. Everything I do is amazing anyways."
To be continued...
STAYC's songs are such a bop, so I just had to.
