Against all odds - Minsung [✔]
"Are you okay?" Minho asked concernedly. "You're not hurt, are you?"
"Don't worry, I'm fine. But where am I right now?" Jisung asked as he glanced around the unfamiliar room. It was messy, overall.
"We're in hell right nowâin my house to be exact." Jisung's eyes widened at Minho's statement. He thought this day would never come! The day when he could finally visit Minho's home.
"What? Really?" he gushed. "I want to look around!"
"Not now," Minho said. "Let me help you clean up first. Look at the traces of ash on your hair and clothes," he said, prompting Jisung to scan himself.
And only then was he reminded of how he had originally gotten into this state. "Jeongin was at the door a-and he just... he burned the entire house. Our home is destroyed! It's all gone."
Minho sensed his disarray of emotions and wished to comfort him, so he planted a kiss on Jisung's ash-covered hair. "Yes, I know that. But don't worry, we will find a new home."
That, however, still didn't make Jisung reassured though. "Butâ"
"Jisung, all that matters is that you're alive. Furniture can be replaced," he uttered. "But you can't." He then proceeded to lift Jisung up from the bed, carrying him to the bathroom.
In there, he turned on the tap of the bathtub, filling it with cool water. Then, he helped Jisung undress, slipping his burnt shirt over his head and exposing many reddish spots on his skin.
Minho sighed at the sight of it. He opened Jisung's jeans and discarded it on the ground, doing the same with his boxers. When he was naked, Minho was relieved to see no major burns on him.
"Get in the bathtub," he said, helping him climb in. Jisung sunk into the cool water, letting out a breath at the soothing coldness. He leaned back and closed his eyes.
Minho on the other hand walked to the small cabinet on the other side of the bathroom, rummaging through it until he had found what he needed. A bottle of shampoo and a hairbrush.
"Just sit still. I'll do all the work," he furrowed his brows, turned on the showerhead and let the water run on Jisung's hair. "Is the water temperature alright?"
Jisung nodded, "Yes." His eyes gazed at the rippling surface of the water in the bathtub, and he eventually let out the question that had been in his mind ever since he woke up.
"What exactly happened? How did I end up here in hell? And most importantly, how was I placed under a spell by Changbin?"
"It's... a very long story, but I'll explain it to you slowly."

(This part is just a flashback. Calm tf down everyone.)
Minho jumped through the portal and landed on the pavement. The hell gate closed behind him and only a faint smell of ash lingered around him. Night had fallen some time ago and he was a bit late.
He walked through the deserted streets of the neighborhood, getting closer to their home. He shoved his hands into the packet of his black jeansâand that was when it happened.
From afar, he spotted thick clouds of grey smoke which originated from one familiar spot. "Jisung... Shit," he cursed and took off towards their home which was two streets away.
At the next intersection, he turned left and sprinted as fast as he could. He heard the sirens wailing, people screaming, and got a closer glimpse of the smoke rising towards the night sky.
He ran incredibly fast, used his demonic strength, but he feared he might still be too late. "Jisung!" he screamed at the top of his lungs as he entered the house.
The firefighters didn't even notice him because of his speed which was faster than light. If they had noticed him, they'd surely not let him in the house.
Everywhere Minho looked, orange fire was there, consuming everything. The sight reminded him of hell. "Jisung, can you hear me?" he shouted, but earned no response.
It made his chest hurt and his panic grew. He couldn't bear to lose Jisung too. No. Not after everything they had been through.
He frantically scanned the room for any signs of Jisung. He soon found him lying on the ground, unconscious. And he wasn't alone.
Crouching right beside Jisung's fallen body was no other than Changbin, and Minho recognized him almost immediately. He didn't waste more time and jumped into the flames.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing to him?!" he yelled and pushed the blood mage away from Jisung. However, he noticed something else that made his heart sink.
Changbin seemed out of reality, he was simply staring straight ahead with no emotion in his eyes. And not just that, red glowing symbols encased a part of Jisung's arm.
Minho knew all too well what those signs meantâChangbin was messing with Jisung's mind during his unconscious state.
Unsure of what to do, he gathered his demonic magic and focused it on the floor underneath the three of them. He opened a rift in space below them and they fell through the opening.
They all floated into a black void. Minho reached for Jisung and embraced him. At the same moment, the portal behind them closed.
Minho let out a breath and swiftly opened another portal that brought them into his home in hell. The three of them landed on the floor of his living room.
He carried Jisung into his room and rested him on his bed, and when he ran back to his living room, he glared daggers at the blood mage who was still in his dazed state.
Minho figured that he would have to let his other demon friends deal with Changbin instead since he still had much more important matters to take care ofâJisung, specifically.
