Against all odds - Minsung [✔]
Jisung woke up when he heard muffled voices coming from somewhere outside the room. He groaned, rolling on his side and rubbing his eyes.
Realizing that Minho wasn't by his side, he tensed up and got out of bed, running his hand through his hair to make it look a little less disheveled.
He nearly stumbled over his own feet in his haste to get to Minho. He ripped open the door and hurried to the living room, following the sound of the familiar voices.
When he entered the room, all eyes moved to him. The three demons were here, scattered through Minho's spacious living room.
"Good morning, sleeping beauty," Seungmin said, breaking the silence that Jisung's arrival had caused. "Did you sleep well? If not, then I apologize since we have no air conditioner here in hell."
"Wow," Jisung responded sarcastically. "Do you really think that I'm so weak to the point where I can't withstand humid places?"
"Damn right," Seungmin nodded and Minho was quick to fire a beam of light at him. "Fuck, my back!" He yelped in pain.
He then teleported right behind Minho and grabbed onto his hair, aggressively pulling it back and forth. "You'll pay for that!"
The two demons started tugging at each other's hair as they bickered. In Chan's eyes, they both looked adorable. But in Felix's eyes, they only looked childishâthey were hilarious.
"Guys, stop!" Jisung interrupted their argument and earned all the demons' attention. "What are you all doing here, by the way?"
"Oh, about that... Well let's just say that your scent had attracted a bunch of lower-class demons and they attempted to enter this house from all sides," Felix explained.
"Yeah, and Minho called us because he just couldn't deal with all of them alone," Chan shrugged. "Can't blame him though. There were thousands of them!"
"It was a surprise that you didn't wake up while we fought with those demons," Seungmin grinned. "You humans are very interesting."
"Thanks?" Jisung responded with a weak smile before he asked a question that filled the whole room silence. "What did you guys do to Jeongin? Minho had told me that he's in your hands."

"So you guys basically took away his magic? Is that it?" Jisung said as they walked along the rocky path of hell. They were headed to Chan's home which was up the mountain.
Jisung wondered why they had to spend so much time walking when they could just teleport there with Seungmin's help. But, oh well, walking was somewhat a good exercise.
"We didn't really take his magic. It's more like we took his ability to use magic," Felix explained. "You'll understand what we mean soon."
Minho was quiet throughout the whole walk. His piercing eyes surveyed their surroundings and his light magic flared dangerously whenever a weaker demon dared to get close to Jisung.
At last, after tedious minutes of walking, they had arrived in Chan's house where Jeongin apparently was inâheld captive, sort of.
What Jisung saw when he entered took him by surprise. Jeongin was just sitting on the floor, but he was inside a transparent barrier which was probably created using light magic.
"Yeah, there he is," Seungmin mumbled. "You see that bracelet with colorful beads in his wrist? That's what's making him unable to use his magic. And trying to take it off would just be a waste of time."
"It requires something stronger than demonic magic to remove it," Chan explained. "Right now, he's basically just like a normal human."
Jeongin looked pissed to see Jisung and the other demons by the door, so he hissed at them. "What now? Are you guys here to laugh at me?"
A tense silence fell over the vicinity, bringing an extremely uncomfortable awkwardness. Jisung cringed, attempting to steer the conversation in another direction.
"Why did you want to make me suffer so much? What did I do to you? I'm not here to laugh at you, I just want answers," he said.
"I've always hated humans from the start," Jeongin scoffed. "They are creatures worse than demons. You're no different from them."
"I don't know exactly why you are so mad at humans. Like, weren't you a human before you became a demon?" Jisung countered.
Jeongin fell silent for a while and his arrogance seemed to fade away. "Humans are merciless creatures. They're willing to kill their fellow people just because of jealousy and greed. They all need to go to hell."
