Against all odds - Minsung [✔]
The sand felt warm under Jisung's bare feet. It was another sunny day, and the couple had decided to spend it together at the beach.
Their vacation would last another week and they wanted to make the most of each day before they returned home. Jisung carried a bag filled with sunscreen, beach towels, and other necessities.
He shielded his eyes with his hand and observed the place, trying to find a spot where they could stay. It was crowded, but after a while of walking, he and Minho found a place beneath a palm tree.
Jisung set down the bag and stretched his arms, putting down his sunglasses. "Should we go for a swim?" he asked Minho who had been sneaking glances at him this whole time.
When he didn't answer, Jisung furrowed his brows. "Minho?" he asked and put his hands on his hips. "Are you listening?"
"Huh? Oh... what did you say?" he replied and finally met Jisung's eyes.
"I asked if you want to go swimming, but you seemed busy," he remarked sarcastically. "What's going on in that head of yours, huh?"
"Well, you're kinda distracting today," Minho drawled with another sly glance at Jisung's loose shirt which revealed... quite a lot of skin.
"Don't tell me you're horny again," he replied, throwing Minho a sharp look. "You pervert. I can't believe you."
"I didn't hear you complain last night," he teased with a smug smirk that made Jisung's cheeks flush. "If I remember correctly, you even begged me to go harder and fastâ"
"Minho, please stop!" Jisung sputtered embarrassedly.
"Nope, I won't stop," he grinned. "Not when I can make you blush."
Jisung knew that his cheeks were burning, and it wasn't just because of the hot sunâMinho looked way too attractive right now.
The demon didn't wear a shirt, showing off his muscular torso. He was only wearing a dark red swimwear which Jisung couldn't tear his eyes away from. He stared at it for a long time.
His eyes then lit up when a thought struck him and a devilish smirk spread over his lips. Before Minho knew what he was planning, Jisung had grabbed him and thrown him over his shoulder.
Minho yelped and hit Jisung's back when he ran off towards the deep blue water. "No, don't!" he screeched. "I don't wanna go swimming!"
Minho didn't care if he caused a scene with his yelling, but most people in the vicinity only smiled at the silly antics of the couple.
Jisung ignored his yelling and ran straight into the cool waves. Already, Minho was splashed with water. "This is your last warning!" he screamed. "If you don't stop right now, I willâ"
Jisung didn't even let him finish his sentence and threw him into the waves. Minho yelped and was engulfed by cold water.
Brushing his wet black hair away from his face, he glared at Jisung who was dying of laughter. "Ah yes, this is so funny," he drawled sarcastically.

Not much later, they returned to the shore to go sunbathing. It was so hot outside that their swimwear were almost dry within a few minutes.
Minho lay down on a beach towel and Jisung joined him. They looked truly contented and at peace, closing their eyes and wrapping their arms around each other.
After a while, Jisung began to feel hot under the burning sun and he started to crave cold ice cream. When they had arrived, he had seen an ice cream parlor near the beach.
"Minho?" he asked, propping himself up with his elbows. Minho lazily opened his eyes and watched him without saying anything.
"I will buy ice cream, do you want some too?" Knowing the demon, he definitely wouldn't say no to sweets.
"Yeah, sounds nice. I don't want to get up, though," he said.
"Okay, you lazy ass. I'll go alone and buy it for us," Jisung said and cracked a smile. "Let me guess, you want strawberry ice cream."
"That's right," he replied and with that, Jisung stood up. "Great, then see you in a bit," he answered, put on his sunglasses and walked away.
The ice cream parlor was farther away than it had seemed, so Jisung had to walk for a few minutes. With his eyes set on the small white building in the distance, he strolled over the sand.
The closer he got, the more crowded the beach became. His eyes trailed over the people, and he wasn't surprised to spot a few supernatural beings among the humans, even some ghosts here and there.
