Against all odds - Minsung [✔]
"Where do you want to go next? I think we should leave those two alone for now," Chan grinned, playfully ruffling Seungmin's hair.
"How about the house of mirrors?" He suggested. "It's just over there!"
Chan nodded and briefly told his friends where they would go. But they barely even looked at him since they were too busy flirting with each other. He giggled at the sight and took Seungmin's hand, and then they walked off, getting lost in the crowd of people.
Jisung shared the rest of his cotton candy with Minho before they decided where they wanted to go next. He had been excited to try the huge rollercoaster in the park, so he abruptly pulled Minho along with him towards the ride.
However, as they made their way through the crowd, he became aware of something and it dimmed his good mood. His rather attractive boyfriend received a lot of attention, most of it coming from women.
Of course, Minho's handsome features would definitely draw in looks, but that wasn't something Jisung had expected. A feeling of frustration built in his chest and he glared at the woman next to him who dared to wink at his boyfriend.
"Is there something wrong, Jisung?" He asked and arched his eyebrow, seeing a frown in his face. "Are you perhaps, scared of the ride?" He teased and kissed his forehead.
"No. I'm not scared," he replied stubbornly. "What about you, though?"
"I don't even know what fear is," he said, arrogantly raising his head. However, he came to regret those words since riding a rollercoaster with many twists and turns, curves and peaks, was by far not as fun as he'd imagined...
He was awfully quiet throughout the whole ride and when it ended, he turned suspiciously pale and stumbled out of the seat. Jisung quickly followed him and took his hand. "Are you dizzy?" He asked worriedly.
"A bit," he admitted. Since he really didn't look good, Jisung guided him to a nearby bench and told him to sit down.
"We'll rest for a moment, okay?" He said, letting Minho lay his head on his shoulder. He soothingly brushed over his dark hair and sighed quietly. "No more rollercoasters for you today."
They stayed like this for a while and Jisung used the opportunity to look around for a bit, his gaze roaming over the vicinity. Since it would be Halloween soon, everything was decorated accordingly with spooky pumpkin lanterns, skeletons, and ghosts made of white fabric.
Cheerful music reverberated around them, originating from a merry-go-round for children nearby. Jisung smiled, remembering how he'd loved those when he had been younger. Those had been the highlight of the day whenever he had gone to the amusement park with his parents.
He redirected his gaze back to Minho and was relieved to see that some color had returned to his face. "Are you feeling alright?" He asked and Minho lifted his head up, now sitting up straight.
"Yeah, I am," he replied. "Only humans would invent such an unnecessarily stupid thing," he complained, referring to the rollercoaster which he threw a sinister glare at.
"I'm glad you're feeling better now," he smiled and leaned in to give Minho a soft peck on the cheek. "Do you want anything to drink? I could get us something before we move on to the next ride."
"Why not?" Minho said. "This bubble tea stuff looks interesting. I've seen it somewhere earlier."
Jisung's eyes lit up and he nodded. "Yeah, I think I know where it was. Please wait here and I'll be back soon!"
