009 Fight
I Got Breastfed Again
Something big happened last night.
It's not funny or lovely as the usual stories I say.
Well, some might find it lovely. But definitely not funny.
You have met Doodu. He became a part of our family unexpectedly. So we didn't have a house for him. For about one week he lived inside our home, making a complete mess.
Anu would run around the house excitedly and he would follow her. They hit everywhere and topple pretty much everything. On top of that, Doodu would poop everywhere and piss on all the walls.
Mom hated it. But I kind of liked it. Finally, there was someone in our family who could match the energy of Anu. Every day she would return from school to play with him.
Talking about school, Anu started going to school. I forgot to tell you that.
You should have seen her on her first day in school.
Mom put makeup on her. Some powder on her face, thick eyeliner, a small black dot on her cheek, a small blue bindi[1] on her forehead. Then her little cute uniform frock that reached her knees.
Dad took a day off. He was busy clicking pics on his mobile phone. Mom was having trouble hiding her tears. Even I shed some tears seeing how she was all dressed up to go to school.
Finally, she put her school bag on her back. It was almost as big as her. A few days ago, we all went to buy the school bag. She found a bag with the pic of ironman and she loved it. Dad bought it for her as he owed her for something.
She standing there in front of our home all dressed up with the huge bag is a memory I can never forget.
Anyway, let's return to the topic.
Doodu continued creating a mess in the house. So, yesterday, dad made a small kennel for him using wire mesh and wood planks. He placed the kennel outside our house and in the evening, locked the puppy inside it despite the protest from Anu.
I too didn't like it.
Doodu was still a baby. I know that he needs to grow up. But leaving him alone outside was something I couldn't accept.
Anu cried and argued for a while. But dad didn't give in. According to him, disciplining Doodu was also important.
Anu argued the entire evening and went to sleep after fighting with dad. As usual, I slept between mom and dad.
In the night, Doodu was crying from his kennel. I couldn't sleep. I lay awake on the bed listening to the pitiful cries of the poor creature.
After about ten minutes, his cries stopped. For a moment, I got worried. Then I heard his complaining sound and felt better.
Since he was done crying and going to sleep, there was no reason for me to stay awake. So I decided to sleep
Then a sudden thought hit me.
I slapped my dad's face as hard as I can.
"Huh?" He woke up and looked around in confusion.
"Anu is outside with Doodu." I said. I was almost screaming.
"Huh?" For a second, he was confused.
Then he suddenly stood up, pulled the window curtain to a side and looked outside.
"ANUU..." He roared.
"Eeekk..." I heard Anu's cry from the outside.
Mom was jolted awake and she looked around in confusion.
Dad turned on the master switch in the bedroom. Instantly, half the lights in our house turned on. Without waiting to explain the situation to mom, he ran out of the bedroom.
All this happened in a few seconds.
My guess was right.
Doodu didn't just stop crying. He stopped crying because Anu went out and accompanied him.
Mom was scared and she also ran out after putting two pillows beside me to prevent me from rolling. Not that I roll.
"WHAT the hell do you think you are doing? Who allowed you to go out?" I could hear dad roaring in anger.
"..."
"You want to stay with him so bad? I can make a kennel for you too..." Dad continues shouting.
"Waaa... aaa...." it was followed by Anu's unpleasant cry.
Her cries were horrible to listen to.
Soon, mom came and picked me up. Then she went outside.
I analyzed the situation.
Anu was still standing beside the kennel and crying. Tears were rolling down her cheeks and her left ear was bright red. She was occasionally rubbing the ear. Clearly, dad pinched her ear in anger.
"Come inside." Mom grabbed her arm and took her inside the house.
Dad was very angry and continued scolding her. Mom just stayed silent. She was angry and scared at the same time.
In between, our neighbour contacted us and made sure everything was fine. We also learned how she opened the door. She stood on the chair. Then she threw a string with a hoop at the end on the bolt. Then she pulled the string and the door was open.
After about ten minutes, we went to bed again. This time, Anu was also with us. She was sulking.
"How did you find that she went outside?" Mom asked dad after he calmed down.
"He told me." Dad gestured towards me with his chin.
'Poop! I got caught.' I cursed myself.
"Huh?" Then mom and dad looked at me confusedly.
"Gu gu gu?" I acted dumb.
"Hah! It must have been a dream." Dad thought it was a dream and laughed at his own stupidity.
'I'm saved!'
Anu was staring at me angrily. She knew that it was I who backstabbed her.
In a way, it could be considered as taking revenge for stealing my milk. But I wasn't satisfied. I wanted some real revenge. Even though she got scolded and punished, in the end, it was for her own good. It couldn't be counted as an act of revenge.
We turned off the lights.
I was in the middle of mom and dad and Anu was between the wall and mom. Anu was a messy sleeper and she hugs with her leg. So she wasn't allowed to sleep with me. They were worried of she hugging me with her thick arms and leg.
Anu didn't sleep.
She sat on the bed and kept sobbing. Occasionally she would look out through the window. Doodu had resumed his cries.
After about ten minutes, dad got up. He went outside without telling anything. Mom suddenly got up and followed him with me in his arms. Anu also followed us.
He forcefully picked up the entire kennel and came inside the house.
The main door of our house was large enough to bring the kennel inside But the other doors were smaller. So dad placed the kennel in the hall. Dad was tired and frustrated. He wanted to sleep. So he decided to make a temporary solution to the issue.
Doodu was sitting in a corner of the kennel. He was scared. I felt sorry for him.
A small smile appeared on Anu's lips and it disappeared in an instant.
"Go to sleep now." Dad was almost roaring.
We all went to sleep without any reply. Dad rarely got angry. But whenever he got angry, it was scary. So no one wanted to irritate dad when he was angry. Not even mom had the courage for that.
This time, Anu switched sides and she was hugging dad. Dad was visibly angry. But he didn't say anything.
Finally, we all fell asleep.
When I woke up, mom was already in the kitchen.
Anu was sleeping on dad's chest like a monkey sleeping on a tree and drooling on him.
Sometimes I don't understand her.
Dad usually doesn't get angry. But when he gets angry, everyone would be scared of him. Except for Anu. She always knew how to manipulate dad. Sometimes she acted cutely and sometimes she just cried. Even after getting punished by him, she would return to him and melt his heart. Even mom couldn't do that.
Anyway, Doodu finally became a full-time member of our house.
Dad decided to make a proper wooden kennel for him.
At the same time, I got an idea for the perfect revenge.
I will tell you about that once I have my revenge.
Very soon.
