"I'm so tired," he groans beside me.

"I never thought I'd hear those words from you."

"Well, I'll admit that I'm completely worn out after today."

"Same, and I still need to show you the decorations that we have so far."

"Do whatever you want, baby."

"I will but I still want you to see everything."

"Alright, I'll check it out," he lets out a sigh and sits on the bed. "My back hurts tremendously," he says as he rolls onto his stomach.

"Baby, nobody told you boys to play with knives. Just let the ointment do its thing and stop moving around. I am not wrapping you again."

"Love, you would do it a million times again."

"Maybe, maybe not."

"You know what would make me feel better?"

"What?"

"You... on top of me... massaging me."

"Hell no. I'm too heavy and you're still bleeding a little," I say disgusted. "I should actually put you in the guest room because I don't need blood on my comforter."

"No, you are not, woman. Come here," he pulls me next to him and wraps his arms around my torso. "Cuddles make the pain go away."

"I'll cuddle you later," I kiss his cheek. "I'm going to do a bit of work in the living room. I just need a few minutes alone."

"Ok," he sighs. "Don't have too much fun without me."

"I won't," I kiss his cheek once more. "Get some rest please."

"I need you next to me to sleep," he takes my hand.

"Give me 30 minutes and I'll be back but at least try."

"Okay," he answers tiredly.

When I enter the living room, sitting on the couch, my phone rings and it's Eliza.

"What Eliza?"

"I'm hungry," she complains.

"Well, we have no leftovers from last night because we had family over."

"Will you cook something for Luci and me, please?"

"I would invite you over for dinner, but I need a date night with my man."

"Ugh."

"It's not my fault you're too lazy to cook. I'm surprised a greedy person like Lucian is still with you."

"Shut up. I still feed him."

"Mhm, ok."

"If you come over now then I could make something quick."

"Did I tell you how much I love you?"

"Yeah, yeah, just hurry up."

"Can Luci come?"

"Of course, but you guys aren't staying here."

"Yeah, ok."

"Eliza I'm serious!" she hangs up and I roll my eyes. They annoy me so much.

Closing my laptop, I sigh and go to the kitchen. As I place out ingredients, my phone rings again and it's Loana.

Seb and I bought her an iPad and gave it to her last night. Her excitement was through the roof. Elvira must've shown her how to FaceTime.

"Hi, hun!" I smile.

I watch as she tries to set the iPad up so that I can see her properly. "Hi, Lara!"

"What are you up to?"

"I'm reading books on my new iPad."

"That's nice. Did you call me for a specific reason or did you just want to talk?"

"I wanted to talk to you and Emilian and maybe ask if I could sleepover tonight," she asks shyly.

"Oh, I'm sorry hun. We can't do a sleepover tonight but maybe this weekend. Is that ok?"

"I'll have to ask momma but I would love that," she nods her head rapidly. "Where's Emmy?"

"He's sleeping right now but I can tell him to call you back later."

"Awww, okay. What are you doing?"

"I'm about to make lunch."

"What are you cooking?"

"Lobster rolls. Do you know what that is?"

"Yup!  I love lobster," she smiles.

"Leona! Come here, so you can get dressed," I hear Dana say in the background.

"Coming, mama!" she responds. "Bye, Lara, I have to go," she hangs up before I could say goodbye.

I continue to prepare the rolls as quickly as I can because Eliza will be here in a few minutes.

"Baby, I thought you said 30 minutes," Seb whispers into my ears and places his hands on my waist.

"I was going to come up after your brother and my sister came over for their lunch."

"Did you make enough for us?"

"Of course. Are you hungry now?" I turn to ask him.

"Mhm," he pecks my lips. "Did I tell you that you are gorgeous?"

"Today? No."

"Well, you look beautiful today. Also, is this a new robe?" he asks and goes over to the fridge.

"Thank you and yes it is. It came in the mail today, along with a few shirts I saw and thought would look good on you."

"Really? Where are they?"

"In the box near the couch but don't look at them now."

"Why?" he raises an eyebrow.

"Because I want to see your reaction."

"Okay, okay, I can wait."

"Will you get me a container for their food?"

"Sure. I thought we were having lunch together."

"Lovey, you know they'll never leave and I'm not missing another date night."

"I agree," he kisses my forehead. "Are we ordering in?"

"Yes, please," I stress. "I want to relax tonight," I try to wrap my arms around his neck but he's too tall.

He chuckles and places me onto the countertop. "Better?"

"Yes," I smile. "You don't know how much I just want to relax and finally spend time with my man." He moves closer to me and I lie my head on his chest.

"Are you ok, love?"

"I hate our work schedules so much," I pout.

"Me too, baby, me too."

"I think I want to quit," I blurt out.

He moves back to look at my face in concern. "Do you really want to?"

"No, I just want to make time for us," I sigh.

He takes my hand in his and says, "Don't make any impulse decisions you might regret love. Let's see how everything is after the event then we can make decisions."

"Your right."

"Do you want to watch tv with me and have lunch?"

"Yeah, but I still have work to do. Eliza called earlier then Leona called on her iPad."

"She did?"

"Yes, it was so cute," I smile. "She was asking for you but don't call now because I think they were going out."

"What did she say?"

"She wanted to have a sleepover tonight," I answer.

"Did you say yes?"

"No."

"Why?" he smirks. " I don't mind, love."

"You know why. Don't make me feel bad, Seb," I say.

"Don't worry, I was going to take her shopping sometime this week."

"Just you and her?"

"Yup, are you jealous?"

"No, I just wanted to know because I have plans with Eliza and Mads anyway," I roll my eyes playfully.

"When? I need to put it in my calendar."

"So you and Luci can stalk us? No thanks," I fold my arms.

"Baby, you know we can't let you girls out alone, especially in crowded places."

"Men," I roll my eyes.

"What is it that you ladies are going to do that requires y'all to be alone," he raises an eyebrow.

"Complaining about our men and how they won't leave us alone," I smile.

"You do that when we're around, so I doubt that."

"Where's the container?" I ask as he steps back and allows me to get off the countertop.

"Over here."

"Can you pack it for me?"

"Yeah."

"Do you want something with yours?" I ask him.

"I'll probably grab some carrots."

"Wash me a few too, please."

"Damn, girl, these look good as hell. Almost as good as you," he slaps my butt.

"Boy, shut up," I giggle.

"I'm serious, baby. There's no way you only made four."

"We don't have much more lobster, lovey and I wanted to try another lobster recipe soon."

"Like what? I want to help," he kisses my forehead.

"Seb, anytime I'm cooking, you're working. But, I would love it if you had the time though."

"Me too," he lets out a deep breath. "Do you need help with anything else?"

"No, baby, you can eat now," I shoo him away. I can see he's eager to just eat and go straight back to bed. "I'll bring your drink in a second."

Hearing the doorbell ring, I walk over to it only to hear Eliza's loudmouth from the other side of the door. I roll my eyes and let her in.

"Hey, sis," she smiles.

"Hi, little girl. Why aren't you at work by the way?"

"The kids have a week off which is excellent for the event and my tummy," she walks past me and into the kitchen.

"Where's Luci?" I ask.

"At home taking the longest nap of his life."

"Wow, Seb is about to do that too once we're done out here."

"I don't understand why they do this to themselves," she sighs. "Do you have your dress and everything picked out for tomorrow?"

"Yup."

"Are you doing your hair or do you need me to do it?"

"I'm doing it because I won't have enough time for you to spend hours on it. There are so many things I have to do tomorrow with so little time."

"Mads and I can help."

"She said she was going to be busy for the whole week though."

"She meant sleeping in her bed and watching Riverdale," she rolls her eyes.

"Stop, it's not that bad. I call that being busy"

"Yes, the hell it is."

"Whatever, you can leave now and enjoy your lunch."

"Can I eat first?" she pouts.

"Nope."

"What a sister," she mugs and leaves, slamming the door.

"She left already?" Emilian walks into the kitchen with an empty plate.

"Yup, I kicked her out."

"Alright, I'm heading up to bed. Are you still doing work?"

"Yea, but I can lay with you for a bit."

"No, you eat and do whatever first," he kisses my cheek.

"But I want to be near you," I mumble.

He chuckles lowly and says, "Alright, I'll grab a blanket and I'll be right back."

"Thank you," I smile and bite my lips.

He presses his lips against mine and mumbles, "You're such a princess."

"Shut up," I respond and he walks off. Am I? Totally not.

I grab my food from the kitchen to eat while I work and I watch as he walks down the stairs with a black, fluffy blanket in hand.

He throws it on the couch and tiredly walks over to me, staring. "What, lovey?"

"You're taking too long," he lifts me into his arms and I quickly wrap my legs around his waist.

"Baby, I was coming," I giggle. "You're so damn impatient. You better not make me drop my food."

"I won't." He sits me on the couch and lays his head on one of my thighs.

"You could've gotten a pillow you know?"

"Why? I have you."

"Whatever," I kiss his cheek. "Sleep tight, I love you."

"I love you too."

"Baby, wake up," I say as I move out of his arms. I took a quick nap with him and he's still sleeping after five hours.

"Give me a minute," he groans.

"I'm going upstairs to change and I want you up by the time I'm done."

I go to our bedroom to brush my teeth and wash my face, then I grab a cozy brown hoodie dress.

Going back to the couch, I find him sitting up and texting on his phone. I stand in front of him, take his phone and straddle him.

"No phones please," I tell him. "Did you have a good nap?"

"Mhm," he observes my outfit and bites his bottom lip. "I like this."

"Let me move before you start doing too much," I say, blushing.

"I won't do anything, I promise," he smirks and places his hands on my butt.

"I'm not kissing you or touching you right now."

"Oh, so it's you I have to worry about?"

"Shut up," I bury my face in his neck.

"Are we doing a comfy movie night?" he asks.

"Yes, please and I want sushi."

"Anything else?"

"Iced tea."

"You don't want or-," I stop him.

"Don't."

"Ok," his hands move to my cheek.

"I don't want to talk about it," I roll my eyes.

"Don't give me attitude, I did nothing wrong."

"I know and I'm sorry," I peck his lips.

"It's fine. I'll change and order the sushi. Can I leave you alone?"

"Yeah," I nod my head.

"Never mind, you're coming with me."

"I'm fine, Seb."

"I'll carry you myself. Let's go, woman."

"Fine but, are we staying in the room?"

"Nope, we're going to grab blankets and pillows and make a fort. And we'll watch movies on your laptop ."

"I like that idea a lot but you're doing the laundry after," I say as I follow him into the bedroom.

"No problem. Do you mind if my shirt stays off?"

"You can keep it off. I don't mind." I grab the pillows and a pair of cozy socks, then we both carry everything downstairs.

"Snack?" I ask.

"We're eating dinner before any junk food," he gives me a pointed look.

I gasp and smack him with a pillow, "Baby, don't look at me like that. You know I eat healthy 80% of the time."

"I know, love, I didn't mean it like that," he embraces me and kisses my forehead.

"Shut up and go away," I push him away playfully.

He swiftly lifts me and holds me tightly, "You know what I meant," he speaks with a wide grin on his face.

"Put me down," I fold my arms.

"Kiss me first."

"No," I smile.

"Seb."

"Baby."

I look at him, with his hazel eyes staring into my eyes lovingly. "I love you," I tell him.

"And I love you too, beautiful."

"Can we set up the fort now, pleaseeee?"

"Mhm."

It takes us about 30 minutes for us to set everything up and the food arrives just on time.

"Are we sharing?"

"I don't want sushi but you can have whatever you want from my plate."

"So, I'm not going to find half of my leftovers missing in the morning?"

"No, I only eat your leftovers when I come home late and starving with both else to eat."

"Don't say that because I always offer to make your food."

"And I'm going to say no every time because that's too much."

I roll my eyes in response.

"Here, I brought your bonnet down," he says as he places it on my head.

"I kinda already forgot about it because you always get it for me. I was thinking about buying you one."

"For what? I don't need it."

"I think it would be cute, honestly. And it's for protecting hair, so you'll be fine."

"What should I do with my hair next? I've had this style for a while and I think I should change it up a bit," he says ruffling his messy hair a bit.

"Which style were you thinking about?"

"Maybe a buzz cut."

"Baby, if you get any more attractive, I don't know what the hell I would do."

He chuckles, "So, you'd like it on me then?"

"Mhm," I kiss his cheek. "I'd like any haircut on you honestly."

"I know," he feeds me a piece of sushi. "What are we watching tonight?"

"I wanted to binge Catfish. It's a really good show about people being catfished by the most random people and it's kinda funny."

"That sounds good, put it on." He pulls me between his legs and kisses my temple. "I love you," he whispers.

"I love you too, baby," I smile.
