Yesterday, Eliza woke up Emilian and me, surprising us with tickets to Italy. We were both surprised and I am super excited.

Right now, we're in my dressing room at the wedding venue because today is finally our wedding day. She's done my hair and is finishing up my makeup. I haven't seen it myself yet but I'm sure it looks amazing.

"Ok, your makeup is done now," Eliza backs up and looks at me proudly.

"Let me see," I ask excitedly.

"Sure," she hands me a mirror and I look at the beautiful art she has done on my face.

"Liza, you need to be a makeup artist, ASAP. This looks amazing."

"Hell, no. I don't have time for all of that."

"Why? It'll be way more flexible for you and Lucian."

She rolls her eyes, "Let's not talk about him right now. It's your day and I'm so proud of you," she kisses my cheek. "I'll be right back."

I smile as she exits but I'm worried about her. I was completely unaware that they were having relationship problems. This actually makes me sad.

"Hey, hun, we brought breakfast," Lexi smiles as she enters my dressing room.

"Wow, you finally made it back after an hour and a half!" I say sarcastically. "And now I have to eat with makeup on."

"You look gorgeous, Lara," Dylan compliments me and kisses my forehead. "And I'm sorry I let her drive."

"Thanks, Dylan," I grab my food. "I cannot wait to show you guys my dress."

"But we already saw it."

"I meant see it on me, duh."

"Dylan, where's the date you were telling me about?"

"I don't have one anymore."

"Aww, what happened?"

"An emergency popped up," he explains.

"Don't worry, you have me," Lexi hugs him.

"No, you're annoying," he chuckles and pushes her away.

As I'm about to bite into my sandwich, Mads barges in panicked. She snatches my sandwich and pushes me into the changing room, handing me my dress.

"We're behind schedule, hurry up!" she exclaims.

"Really?!" I quickly check my phone and it's 11:30. I'm supposed to be down the aisle by noon. Oh my gosh.

"You two, get out and get dressed," I tell Lexi and Dylan.

"Ok, ok," Dylan responds.

"Don't be nervous, beautiful!" Lexi tells me.

"Thank you!"

"Ok, now let's try to get you into this dress in ten minutes."

"Are you ready?"

"Yeah, but she got me nervous."

"Will I have to cry with you?"

"Maybe. Do my hair and beard look clean?"

"Of course, it does because I cut it.  But I don't know why you didn't let me shave your beard down."

"Because my baby loves it," I smile.

"Whatever. What time are you supposed to be down there."

"What time is it?"

"Quarter to twelve."

My eyes widen and I immediately throw on my jacket. Luckily, I am already dressed.

"Eliza is going to kill you," he laughs at me.

"No, because I'm going to blame it on you," I pat his back.

"Not sure if that's going to work but ok," he chuckles awkwardly. Oh hell no.

"What did you do?"

"I'll tell you later, Emmy, you're late."

"You promise?"

"Shut up, you know I will."

"Alright, I expect to see you down there within the next five minutes," I rush out of the door and downstairs.

"You're late!" Eliza glares at me with her hands on her hips.

"I'm sorry, I lost track of time. And this is the first time I'm seeing you this morning, so I have to say you look gorgeous my lovely sister-in-law," I give her a cheek-to-cheek kiss.

"I don't want to hear it," he wacks my butt with her clipboard. "You can either walk through the aisle or walk around the guests."

"I think I'll do the second option," I look around, hoping I can catch a glimpse of my beautiful bride.

"Ok well, when you get up there, stand on the black tape please, and thank you," she pushes me through the door.

I've been waiting at the altar for about fifteen minutes now for my beautiful princess to walk through those doors and I'm beginning to get impatient. I would honestly lift her down the aisle and speed run this if I could.

All the guest are having their different conversations except for my men of course. Luckily, most of the focus isn't on me because I would be ten times more nervous. Elara is probably more chill than me right now.

"Emmy, you're looking a bit nervous there," Anthony says from behind me.

"Damn, I didn't realize Eliza sent you guys up already."

"Yeah, she just told us to join you."

Anthony, Tyler, Danny, and Luci are all now beside me. I nod at them and Luci pats my shoulders.

"I saw her and you're probably going to cry," he whispers into my ear.

I'm trying not to smile in front of a crowd of people. There are way more people than I expected, but most are from our organization that we consider close friends or family.

"Can you describe the dress?"

"Do you really think I stood there and examined your woman to tell you every detail of her dress?"

"Yes."

"Ok, I did but I didn't have enough time before..." he stops before finishing his sentence. "Never mind." It's probably something about Liza but I won't pressure him. Something really bad must have happened for him to not tell me something.

"See me tonight," I tell him and clear my throat.

"I'm leaving soon after this is done," he responds lowly behind me. What?

He's pissing me off and I don't even have my gun on me. "I'll see you," I tell him seriously. I'm forced to demand that my best friend speaks to me.

As I look at my watch for the time, slow music begins to play through the speakers. I'm not ready, I'm not ready.

The doors open and Leona walks in first with her little flower basket, followed by Eliza, Lexi, and Mads. The ladies are all wearing a long green velvet dress with a thigh-high slit. I don't know what girls call them, but I would kill to see Elara in one of those.

After Leona is done, she runs up and hugs my legs tightly. She signals me to lean down and I do so. She whispers into my ear, "Aunty Lara says she has a surprise for you." She then giggles and runs to where Mama and Elvira are sitting in the front row.

Finally, after minutes of waiting, my beautiful baby walks through the doors on Dylan's arm, and the song 'To Build A Home' is now playing. Damn, she looks beautiful.

Dylan is dressed in a black dress shirt and tie and a dark green suit. I'll admit he looks clean.

I look her in the eyes and she causes me to tear up a bit. I turn away for a second and Anthony tries to comfort me.

Forcing myself to look at her again, I look down hoping there won't be a river of tears flowing from my eyes.

I watch as she walks gracefully to the alter and she smiles at me. "Hi, baby," she uses her thumbs to wipe my tears.

"Hi, princess." She honestly looks breathtaking in this dress. Yes, it's nothing grand but it suits her perfectly.

Damn, this woman is actually about to be my wife.

I take her hands in mine and she's blushing hard right now. I can also tell she is slightly uncomfortable because of the crowd. I just want this to be done so I can hold her.

The priest begins to speak but I'm so mesmerized by this woman that I hear nothing but the most important part.

"Emilian, do you take Elara for your lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"

"I do," I respond.

He repeats the same for Elara and she says, "I do." We both chose to keep our vows private because I believe it's something intimate that should remain between us.

Leona carefully walks over to us with our rings and Elara smiles saying, "Thank you, sweetheart." She then leans down to kiss her forehead before Leona happily runs back to mama.

"Ok," Elara sighs as she looks at me lovingly. "Am I going first or you?" she asks. She's blushing even harder now.

"I'll go," I say and let out a deep breath. I can see she's starting to get flustered and I love it.

"Elara, receive this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." I take her wedding ring, placing it on her finger.

"Emilian, receive this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." She slips the ring on my finger and I bring her hands to my lips.

"Stop," she whispers while blushing.

"Alright, I now pronounce you Mr. Emilian Moldovan and Mrs. Elara Moldovan husband and wife! Sir, you may kiss your bride. Cheers and 'awe's' are immediately heard from the crowd and she giggles. I pull her towards me and place a kiss on her forehead.

"I love you."

"I love you too, Mrs. Moldovan. Can I lift you?" he asks.

"Not now, but maybe in our pictures."

"I'll take that."

Finally getting a chance to look at my ring I whisper to myself, "We're married."

"Yes, we are." He embraces me tightly. "We finally are. And I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life with you, baby."

"Me too," I respond. "Baby, your family looks eager to congratulate us and I see your brother in the back." They all look at us proudly with the biggest grins on their faces.

"Can I not be with my wife?" he bites his lips, smiling, and wraps his arms around my waist.

"Emilian."

"Elara."

I glare at him playfully and roll my eyes.

"Lips." I peck his lips and he says, "Talk to your friends, I'll see you in a few."

"Ok, don't miss me too much," I blow him a kiss.

As soon as he steps away, the girls run up to me and literally suffocate me. "You made all of us cry," Eliza sobs.

"Congrats!" Mads tells me, absolutely thrilled.

"Y'all are so cute!" Lexi exclaims. "Oh, and who's his friend," she stares behind me eying someone down.

"Which one?" I question.

"The tallest one that's chatting with the short one."

"He is really cute, you should talk to him," Eliza encourages her.

"That's Danny. He'd actually be perfect for you."

"Ok, I'm going to say hi to him. Wish me luck!" she walks away. "Oh, and my gift is in your suitcase," she winks. "Congrats!"

"It's definitely lingerie," Dylan informs me as he joins us.

"Thank you for walking me down the aisle," I hug him.

"No problem, Lara. Congratulations." he kisses my forehead.

"Y'all have these men in blue staring at y'all hard."

"Ugh, I can't hug my bestie for too long because they would probably kill you."

"Why?"

"Because your a man that is not my husband," I smile and pat his back. "I am going to find my husband so I can say hello to everyone."

"Alright, we'll see you later."

"Oh, and Liza when do we begin to seat everyone?"

"Don't worry about it," she pushes me away. "Go to your husband."

"That's if I could find him." There are so many unusually tall people in here that it's hard to see my hubby, ugh.

"I saw him with Dana, Elvira, and some other people near the door."

"Ok, thanks, muah!"

As I approach the back, I see Elvira first and she smiles. "Can I hug you?" she asks.

"Yeah but, my social battery is draining," I pout as she hugs me.

"Awwww, just take a little break after pictures. I'm so happy for you and Emilian. Also, I've seen the gift table and I can't even recognize mine."

"Oh my gosh, I specifically said no gifts on the invitations," I sigh. "Emilian is opening them himself."

"Opening what?" Emilian hugs me from behind and kisses my cheek.

"Our gifts from our wonderful guests."

"Oh hell no."

"For me?" I ask innocently.

"Fine," he places three kisses on my cheek. "You are lucky I love you."

"Eliza told me we're taking photos and I'm hungry, so can we quickly do that now?"

"Sure, baby. Elvira, would you like to come along? We're taking family photos too."

"Absolutely not. I'm not gonna watch my brother and sister-in-law be lovey-dovey."

"Fine, where's your fiancé?"

"He's speaking with my brother."

"Oh, I haven't said hello to him."

"It's ok, we can talk to him later," Seb wraps his arms around me and walks us towards the area where the photographers have already set up for a photoshoot.

"Everyone is surprisingly distracted with each other," I tell him.

"Yeah, my men know not to stare at you for long and allowed them to have a day off to enjoy."

"Are they your favorites?" I tease him.

"Really, Elara?" he chuckles.

"Oooo, Mr. Moldovan has favorites," I giggle.

"Yeah, but you're my favorite," he pulls me into him.

"The photoshoot hasn't started yet," I inform him.

"I don't care," he leans down to my height.

"Nope," I place my finger on his lips and kiss his cheek. "You're going to tire my lips today."

He pecks my lips twice and says, "Good."

"Are you two love birds ready?" Liza asks as she approaches us.

"Yup."

"I'm about to let everyone but the family go over to the reception area to be seated then we'll take photos."

"Sounds good," I say. "Will we be able to take some with the bridal party? I also want to take pictures with my beautiful sister."

She rolls her eyes playfully, "I guess we can do that."

"Good. Do you have any requests, lovey?" I ask Emilian.

"Yes, a few wings or something would be nice."

"Oh my gosh, same," Liza agrees. "Glad I'm not the only one."

"You are not kissing me with chicken breath during these photos."

"I'll brush my teeth, baby," he pleads.

"Whatever, just feed him something, please."

"Okay, I'll send someone with a plate."

"Are you ready, bride and groom?"

"Yeah, we can begin."

"Alright, we're going to start with the first pose."

"This is going to be fun," he groans and wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me close to his body.

I wrap my arms around his neck and say, "Awww, stop being grumpy and smile for the camera."
