Christopher took out a small booklet from his pocket, and placed it on the table.

“This is a planner. Inside is a place where you and Xyla can go to mend your relationship.” Christopher pointed to the cover. “It is a secluded place where once you and Xyla enter, you will be cut off from the outside world. You’ll live together there for half a month.”

Geoffrey chuckled. “That’s absurd. You want me and her to stay there? We’ll end up arguing within a day.”

“You’ll understand once you look carefully. It’s a good place. Many couples who have been there return with improved relationships.”

Geoffrey never believed in such things, but out of respect for Christopher, he picked up the brochure and read it.
