Meanwhile, Harmony sat in Ezekiel’s car and arrived at the restaurant. She was in a traditional attire

that made her exude a special charm. Ezekiel hadn’t properly appreciated it at the television station,

but now, his gaze couldn’t help but linger on her.

As they entered the restaurant, Ezekiel noticed that when Harmony appeared, all the men around

couldn’t take their eyes off her. Whether young or old, their gazes were fixed on her, especially on her

chest.

Ezekiel suddenly felt displeased. He stepped forward to block half of Harmony’s figure.

Harmony was momentarily surprised, her pretty face blushing slightly. Their sudden closeness made

her feel like she was in a dream, and she was torn between not wanting to push him away and not

She was afraid that it was just a man’s fleeting fancy. When they arrived at the door of a private room,

Ezekiel knocked on it before pushing the door open.

Cecelia Anders was sitting alone inside, having been in there for quite some time. When she saw her

grandson and the movie star-like Harmony entering, her eyes instantly lit up, and she felt ten years

younger in an instant.

“Oh, my! You’re gorgeous, Miss Mayo!” Cecelia personally came forward to welcome her.

Harmony felt pleasantly surprised. She looked at the kind old lady and then at Ezekiel. Noticing the

joyful look on his grandmother’s face, Ezekiel introduced her to Harmony. “This is my grandmother.”

“Pleasure to meet you, ma’am!” Harmony greeted her.

Cecelia was delighted to hear that. She nodded while exclaiming, “It is very nice to meet you too! I

would have been delighted if I had such a beautiful granddaughter.” Ezekiel widened his eyes slightly.

Is my dear grandmother planning to officially acknowledge Harmony as her granddaughter?!

Harmony simply continued smiling and enjoyed the feeling of being adored.

“Come and have a seat, darling.” Cecelia pulled Harmony to sit beside her. The more she looked at the

young woman, the more she liked her. When Cecelia turned to her tall and handsome grandson, a

thought suddenly crossed her mind.

If her grandson could win Harmony’s heart and marry her, it meant they would be a family. Cecelia

wouldn’t have to formally acknowledge Harmony as a granddaughter anymore. Harmony could just

become her granddaughter-in-law!

“Ezekiel, how did you and Miss Mayo get to know each other?” Cecelia asked curiously.

Smiling, Ezekiel responded, “It’s a strange fate. We first met at the airport.” Looking embarrassed,

Harmony added, “I bumped into him and accidentally dropped the gemstone from my necklace onto

him.” “That’s fate!” Cecelia exclaimed.

“After that, Miss Mayo came looking for me, so we met again,” Ezekiel finished, seemingly recalling

their encounter in the hotel. A hint of a meaningful smile played on his lips.

Hearing that, Harmony no longer dared to make eye contact with him. She nodded in agreement and

pursed her red lips. “Yes. I went looking for him because the gemstone is very important to me.

“What happened afterward? Did you meet again, or did you just meet tonight?” Cecelia continued

asking questions as she was curious about the progress of their relationship.

“We met later in Dansbury and became good friends,” Ezekiel answered.

Hearing him add the word ‘good’ before ‘friends’ in front of his grandmother, Harmony presented a shy

smile.

“Come on, darling. Order anything you like. You must be hungry!” Cecelia then took the menu over.

Harmony and Cecelia ordered together, and the food arrived quickly. After that, Cecelia began chatting

about Harmony’s movie, discussing the plot, and praising her acting skills.
