Chapter 2762
Night of Destiny
Ezekiel nodded. âYes, thatâs the way to do it.â Harmony wrapped her arms around his neck. âSo, the
person I should thank the most for this is you!â Ezekiel tilted his head seductively. âAnd how are you
going to thank me?â Harmony leaned down and nuzzled his shoulder. âTonight, Mr. Weiss, you can ask
for anything.â Ezekiel laughed heartily, holding her slender waist contentedly. âAlright, but remember
your words. No begging for mercy later.â Samanthaâs case had entered the procedural stage, with
Ezekielâs lawyer following up. He intended to use Samanthaâs case against Harmony to strike at
everyone in the entertainment industry, letting them know the consequences of messing with Harmony.
In less than a week, the case was resolved. Samantha was sentenced to five years in prison, shocking
the entire industry.
Even Catalina was taken aback. She hadnât expected Harmony to be so capable. But then again, this
was a manifestation of Ezekielâs love for her.
That evening, Harmony received an invitation, not a dinner party in the industry, but a dinner with
Ezekielâs grandmother.
Cecelia missed her and asked Ezekiel to bring her home for a meal. Of course, Ezekiel was more than
happy to bring her home, while Harmony felt a bit shy but deeply honored.
At 3 p.m., Ezekiel brought her to his grandmotherâs. Seeing them hand in hand, Ceceliaâs eyes twinkled
with a smile.
âEzekiel, Harmony, youâre here. Come sit down. Iâve prepared some snacks.â âThank you, maâam,â
Harmony said, feeling overwhelmed.
Cecelia, having reached her age, was very good at judging people now. She could see that although
Harmony was in the entertainment industry, she still maintained her original intentions and a pure heart.
She wouldnât look down on any profession. To her, every profession was worthy of respect.
âEzekiel, you should have brought Miss Mayo home for a meal a long time ago. If your mother isnât
away, she could have met her,â Cecelia said, implying something.
Harmonyâs heart tightened, and she couldnât help but feel extremely nervous. She was okay with
meeting Cecelia, but the thought of meeting Ezekielâs parents made her nervous.
âGrandma, thereâs no rush. Weâll gather again for a meal when Mom and Dad come back, Ezekiel said,
knowing that it was only a matter of time.
âHarmony, letâs go outside for a walk and enjoy the sun.â âMaâam, you can call me Harmony!â Harmony
said.
Cecelia immediately reacted and giggled, âYes, yes, I should be calling you Harmony. Miss Mayo is too
formal.â âGo accompany Grandma for a walk!â Ezekiel cooed to Harmony.
Harmony nodded and took Ceceliaâs arm, accompanying her for a walk in the yard.
The sun was just right, and the breeze was not dry. The weather in June was particularly comfortable.
Cecelia took her to sit on a bench outside the yard, carefully observing Harmony, believing she was a
girl with good fortune with her well-proportioned features.
âHarmony, are you dating Ezekiel?â Cecelia asked directly, and Harmony responded with a bashful
nod. âYes, weâre dating.â âWonderful! Iâd love for you to be my granddaughter-in-law. Ezekiel is very
impressive and husband material,â Cecelia said as she praised her grandson. Harmony smiled and
said, âYes, Ezekiel is very good, very impressive.â Cecelia then took Harmony to the second floor and
personally gave her a gift: a beautiful diamond necklace.
âTake this necklace as a gift from Grandma. Last time at the restaurant, it was all rushed. Let me make
up for it this time, Cecelia said.
âNo, no, I canât accept it, maâam. Itâs too valuable,â Harmony was startled and put the box on the table.
She really couldnât accept such a valuable gift.
However, Cecelia wouldnât take no for an answer. She picked up the box and put it back into
Harmonyâs hands, âWeâre going to be family sooner or later. I only have one grandson, and youâre my
only granddaughter-in-law. Whatâs mine will be yours in the future. Youâre just taking them in advance.â
