Chapter 2789

After wrapping up their activities, Harmony and Ezekiel returned to the hotel. Exhausted, Harmony fell

asleep in Ezekiel’s arms during the journey.

Upon reaching the underground parking lot, the bodyguard opened the door, and Ezekiel personally

carried Harmony into the hotel.

He gently placed her on the couch. Feeling drowsy, she didn’t feel like taking a shower.

“I want to sleep. Can I skip the shower?” she asked.

“You’ve been rolling around on the ground all day. How can you not shower? I’ll go fill the tub for you.

You take a bath,” he playfully teased, tapping her nose.

Harmony nodded contentedly, waiting for him to prepare her bath.

In no time, the bath was ready. Harmony went to soak in it herself, but to her surprise, Ezekiel joined

her, claiming he was going to scrub her back and wouldn’t do anything else. Canl trust him? Harmony

thought to herself.

However, this time, Ezekiel kept his word. He was very restrained, and the scrubbing was very

comfortable.

However, as time passed, Harmony’s sleepiness vanished! His hands brushing against her entire body

aroused her. She couldn’t believe Ezekiel could be so cunning. Is he trying to seduce me?

Finally, Harmony couldn’t hold back any longer. She turned around, threw herself into the man’s arms,

and hooked her neck around his, saying, “You’re really mischievous.”

“Why do you say so?” Ezekiel innocently asked. Harmony looked at his sexy, wet hair and kissed his

cheek. “You tell me! This is clearly for your own benefit.”

Knowing his plan had worked, Ezekiel smirked and asked, “Are you rewarding me, then?”

Harmony boldly replied, “I’m going to devour you!”

The word “devour” unleashed the strongly restrained beast within the man. He panted, “Come on! I

can’t wait.”

What a provocative statement! Harmony blushed, but even though it was late, the happiness didn’t

stop. The consequence of their passionate night was that the next day, Harmony couldn’t make it to the

set on time and had to take half a day off. The director readily granted her leave, and the other actors

had no objections.

After all, her boyfriend had treated them to a generous supper, and considering how handsome he was,

it was quite understandable for her not to wake up in the morning, right?

Harmony slept until 10 a.m. When she opened her eyes, she found the man sitting on the couch in

front of the bed, working quietly. His casual attire highlighted his noble temperament.

At that moment, she wasn’t in a hurry to get up anymore. She propped up her chin and watched the

man work seriously, admiring and etching his image in her head.

“What are you looking at?” Ezekiel looked up and smiled. Harmony squinted and replied, “At you. Do

you have a problem with it?”

Ezekiel shook his head with a smile. “Get up! I’ll take you to eat something delicious.”

Only then did Harmony obediently get up. When she heard there was something delicious, she didn’t

want to miss it.

At noon, Ezekiel took her to a feast. Halfway through the meal, Sera called her. When she heard that

Harmony was indulging in another feast, Sera felt the need to say a few words.

“Harmony, you better be careful! If you gain weight, you won’t look good on camera. You better not eat

to your heart’s content.”

Harmony was just about to take another bite, but suddenly, it lost its appeal, and she had to take small

bites.

Then again, she also cared about her figure. Even though the feast was in front of her, she restrained

herself and only ate a moderate amount.

“The sports car will be airlifted over in the afternoon,” Ezekiel said.

“Perfect! This scene has been on hold. Once your sports car arrives, we can start filming,” Harmony

said, expressing her gratitude. “I thank you on behalf of the director!”

“You’re welcome,” Ezekiel responded with a smile, his eyes narrowing, seemingly concealing

something.

“You go ahead to the set this afternoon. I’ll arrange for someone to bring the car.”

Later, Sera arrived to pick up Harmony for the set. The intense filming had everyone on edge, unwilling

to let their guard down.
