Chapter 418
Night of Destiny
Chapter 418 Elliot Will Make Her Apologize
âHayley was the one who framed you five years ago?â Elliot instantly widened his eyes in disbelief.
Anastasia recalled that she hadnât told him about it before, so she nodded. âBack then, Hayley and my
sister teamed up to trick me into going to the club. Once I entered the private room, there was already a
man who dragged me in.â
Upon hearing the new piece of information, Elliot clenched his fists. What he heard from Hayley was that
Anastasia had entered the wrong private room and was violated by a man. She even cut off her
friendship with Hayley after that.
Between Hayley and Anastasiaâs words, Elliot chose to believe in Anastasia without reason.
âWhy didnât you tell me before that Hayley had framed you?â Elliot felt incredibly guilty and blamed
himself for believing in Hayleyâs words.
âHow could I when youâre so protective of her? I was worried that youâll believe in her words rather than
mine.â When Anastasia thought of that, she felt uneasy.
âOf course Iâd believe you,â Elliot affirmed while looking into her eyes.
âWhy did you show me this photo?â Anastasia inquired while staring at the screen.
âI asked Rey to check the surveillance footage of the night you were laid five years ago and discovered
that a security guard burned the server room of Abyss Club. After checking the IP address as well as the
call log of the security guardâs phone, we found out the person who instructed the security guard was
indeed Hayley.â
Anastasia was equally as puzzled. Why did Hayley do it?
Was she trying to hide a secret by burning the server room of Abyss Club five years ago?
âDid you know that Hayley and I slept together in this same club?â Elliot spoke though he wasnât willing
to. After all, mentioning it always made him regret it deeply.
Once again, Anastasia was stunned to hear that, so she inquired, âHow did it happen?â
âI was unprepared that night. I got caught in someoneâs trap, and they wanted to create a scandal to
blackmail me, so I fled to a private room. Hayley came afterward, and I took advantage of her under the
influence of drugs.â
âWerenât you intoxicated? How did you know it was Hayley that night?â Anastasia questioned out of
curiosity.
âI gave her a watch afterward. She found me through the watch.â
âWhat kind of watch is it?â
âIt is one of my custom-made watches. There is only one of it in the world, and it was in Hayleyâs hands.
She took it as a pawn in the second-hand market in March this year, and thatâs how I found her.â
Anastasia couldnât help but silently mocked herself. How could they both experience the same thing, but
Hayley received Elliotâs materialistic compensation and apology while she wasnât so lucky? The host she
met was selfish and ruthless. He was blinded by greed, didnât repent his mistakes, and even dared to
threaten her!
That made her desperate to find that b*stard and see what kind of nasty look he had. Even though he
seemed ashamed that night and even offered his watch to her, she would never forgive him.
âAnastasia, I think you should know Hayley better than I do. Why do you think she burned the server
room?â Elliot inquired.
Shaking her head, she answered, âIâm afraid only Hayley knows the answer.â
Since the host existed and even tried to threaten Anastasia before, she never thought about the
possibility that Hayley had replaced her, nor did she realize that the b*stard was sitting right in front of
her.
âIf someone called me, are you capable of finding out who this person was?â Anastasia wanted to rely on
Elliotâs ability to find the host.
âWho are you looking for?â
âThe host actually called me a few days ago and threatened me. If he calls me next time, perhaps you
can help me find out who he is.â
âGive me his number. Iâll get Rey to check it for you right now.â
After fishing out her phone, Anastasia scrolled to the number that had called her a few days ago. Elliot
quickly recorded the number and sent it to Rey for investigation.
âActually, I could ask Hayley if I wanted to find this b*stard. She has his information, but I know that she
will refuse to tell me.â Anastasia hated Hayley to her bones.
After hearing Anastasiaâs story, Elliot no longer had good feelings for Hayley. He didnât even want to see
her face from now on. Feeling guilty for her was one thing, but what she did to Anastasia back then was
unforgivable. When he found out who the host was, he was definitely going to make Hayley apologize to
Anastasia.
