chapter 2- hurt

Love. That's all I have ever wanted to feel. Especially of my mom. However I never once got that.

I thought once I got my powers maybe she would show love to me then. My powers turned out to be water and earth. Clearly that was not good enough for her.

I always tried everything to get her attention. I would always be really behaved. I would draw her pictures or try and hug her and tell her I loved her but never got anything but a shove or a scoff in return.

However it was a few years after Sarah father (katrina husband) passed away that I started to get suspicious.

At this point i had started to give up trying to get the attention of my mom. There was still a tiny bit of hope in me but i knew i was hoping for no reason.

Flashback

I decided to snoop through my moms laptop. It was coming up to her birthday and I wanted to get her something special. That's when I realised I knew nothing about my mom. Like at all.

I snooped on her laptop at like 2 in the morning. I looked and noticed a few folders. Now I knew no one was ever allowed on my moms laptop so I knew I would get in a lot of trouble but if I was sneakly enough then no one will know.

I noticed a folder that had been saved as laughable. At first I was confused. I have never even seen my mom smile never mind laugh. What could make her laugh? Maybe its something I could get her for her birthday.

So I clicked on the video. However what I seen made me wish I never.

Right here was video proof of my mom all by herself with Katrina's husband (sarah father). They were talking and to be honest her father looked scared.

"Why are you doing this." Sarah father asked.

"You are a worthless human. You should never have even known about our kind." My mom shouted angrily clearly losing her cool.

"You do not need to do this. Please I'm begging you I have my daughter. She will loose a father." Sarah dad said sadly.

All my mom did was shrug her shoulders.

"My daughter has never once had a father. She is doing fine. Your daughter will be fine." My mom said casually before clicking her fingers and it made sarah dad fall to the floor gasping for air.

She threw him against the tree making me gasp in horror. I put my hand to my mouth to stop the sob escape my lips as I watched my mother torture and kill sarah father. I watched as my mom looked at sarah father car and she clenched her fists making her car crush as she moved sarah dads body into he car. With her hand she flung the car towards the tree making it look as though he crashed into the tree.

I paused the video in shock. I could not believe my eyes. It felt like a nightmare. My mom killed not only sarah father but a human. She broke the law but most of all killed an innocent. L because he was human.

I knew my mom was heartless. Not only towards everyone but even towards me. However I never realise how heartless she truly was.

However before I knew it the office door flung open and in walked my very angry mother.

"Just what the hell do you think you are doing." My mom roared making all colour drain from my skin.

All colour drained from my skin, especially after what video I just witnessed.

"M- mom I-" I stuttered.

However before I could quickly click off the video she had already seen it. I could feel the rage she felt more. I was quite literally terrified.

However before I knew it I blurted out something that made me cringe.

"Its good." I blurted out making her look at me and frown slightly confused.

"You looked at my video." She asked calmly. To calmly.

I licked my dry lips before speaking.

"I'm sorry mom. I did not mean to I was just wanting to find what you was interested in for your birthday and I accidentally came across this. Don't worry mom no one will have to know. He was a worthless human anyways." I said as I could see my mom clearly relaxing more and more.

She looked at me and hummed.

"This my dear daughter is why we do not like humans or part human. They are weak." She said with a scoff making me nod my head in fake agreement.

"He really did beg for his life." I said with a chuckle but in reality I felt nothing but disgust. However not towards him but towards my mom.

Clearly she could see the disgust on my face. She looked suprised for a second before a smirk appeared on her face. Clearly she thought the disgust was towards him and not her.

Flashback over.

After that day I said more and more digging. That's how I found out how my father was actually also  human who she actually fell in love with. He broke her heart and left her as pregnant with me and that made me part human as well. Hence why she also hated me and other humans.

The more stuff I found out about my mom the more hatred I got towards her. The more I felt disgusted and ashamed of her.

That is exactly why right now I am on the way to alpha xander and xavier pack where sarah is. I will be helping her because I know what my mom has in action. I know what my mom is wanting to do and I know what her plan is. However I am turning up to this pack alone. I knew if I brought anyone with me there was a chance that something worse will happen and besides that I never knew who I could trust in my coven.

As I got to the pack borders a warrior met me there and escorted me to the alphas office inside what they called a pack house. This "pack house" was massive and beautiful.

When I walked into the office I noticed alpha xander and alpha xavier as well as luna precious sat there with a few other pack memeber. I frowned once I realised sarah was not here.

"She will be here soon." I heard the women known as luna precious say.

I nodded my head in understanding.

"My name is luna precious and these two are my mates alpha xander and alpha xavier." Luna precious said introducing herself and the alphas while the alphas sat and stared at me while keeping luna precious close.

"Its nice to meet you all. I wish of course under better circumstances." I said politly.

Precious nodded her head.

"My name is skylar and this is my mate beta jacob." Skylar said softly but seemed more firm then the luna.

I could see skylar was a really nice women but I could see she was also a fighter. She intimidated me but also made me feel nice and welcome. I'm not fully sure it was confusing. I felt quite protective over her strangely enough.

"Its nice to meet you skylar and beta jacob." I said softly.

Skylar looked at me and smiled a little making me feel abit more at ease. Jacob however looked confused and had a frown. To be honest skylar looked a little confused as well but still smiled at me. To be honest I was confused why I felt safe and like I should protect them.

"Relax sweetheart. We will not hurt you unless you lie to us or won't tell us anything." Skylar said with a shrug making luna precious hiss out a skylar at her making skylar mouth a what.

I knew she was a fighter and I could see she was telling the truth however about they would hurt me if needs be.

However before anyone could say anything the office door slammed opened and the most handsome person I have ever met stared right at me. I felt like my whole body went jelly.

He had the most striking blue eyes and amazing body. He is really handsome. I have never felt so attracted to anyone before.

"Mate." He growled out staring at me.

I might not be a werewolf but I know what that means. My eyes went wide in shock. I looked at him and I felt like there was no one in the room.

That was until some guy shouted about me being his mate. He looked really pissed of about the situation. That's when I realised this is Sarah's mate and I finally noticed sarah right next to him.

However it really hurt when my mate who I learned was called jayden was also angry about the situation and basically said he wished he was never my mate. It stung so bad. A lot worse then I expected.

I sighed because I knew this was a fucked up situation. For all of us really.

After that the alphas wanted to start the meeting completely ignoring what had just gone on.

I could feel as skylar and beta jacob kept staring at me and at first I could not figure out why. That was until I realised how much jayden looked like beta jacob.

Oh god. They must be jaydens parents. I thought to myself.
