chapter 81- relief

Jayden p.o.v.

I watched as fear and panicking took over Sienna wyes as Annabelle collapsed and mitchel shouted her name.

"What's wrong with her." Mitchel cried out.

I walked over and picked Annabelle up out off Sienna hands. As I picked her up I noticed how light she us. Pike she weighs nothing making me frown.

We all rushed out the office but before we made it further away Sarah grabbed hold off my arm and I felt a whirl off wind before I was right in front off the witch healers.

One off the older which healers stood up straight away and bowed.

"What's wrong with her." I asked quickly and to be honest I felt really worried.

I instantly placed Annabelle on the bed and the healer walked straight over and started doing some checks on her. I could see she was frowning at every little thing she was doing to Annabelle makingme frown and become more and more worried.

"Jayden stop pacing." Sarah said making me accidentally growl at her.

I winced and apologised making her smile softly at me as though she understood but I didnt. I dont understand why i feel so protective and worried about a little girl who I do not know. I mean I get why I am worried and protective a little as she is just a child but I do not understand why it feels different this time. As though she was my own pup.

Rage is constantly chanting in my head to protect her. Protect our pup but I do not understand as she is not our pup and I know that for a fact. But I feel protective as though she is. I somehow do not mind it either.

"Is she okay? Do I need to do anything? What's happened to her? Why did she collapse and-" I started rambling and was cut off by everyone barging into the room clearly catching up with us now and me growling at them for being cut off.

"Beta jayden she should be fine but needs a lot of rest. She is malnourished and has very clearly been beaten. She needs a lot of rest and food." The healer said sadly.

"Malnourished? Beaten? What but how? She is just a child though." I started mumbling to myself feeling my whole body feel as though it was bursting in pain.

I looked over to mitchel who was grabbing his sisters hand with tears pouring down his eyes. He looked heartbroken and sad. I could clearly see the pain, guilt and the hurt and the anger behind his eyes which I had yet to manage to look into. But it was so clear.

I looked over to Sienna with tears in my eyes as did Sienna.

"We need to speak and you need to explain to me what has happened to these two Sienna." I said with pain laced in my voice.

She nodded her head and walked over to me and hugged me tightly. I could feel her tears pouring down my top as I hugged her tightly.

After we pulled away she walked over to mitchel and Annabelle and grabbed mitchels hand.

"She will be okay mitchel, as will you."  Sienna whispered softly.

"You have all of us now and we would never let anything bad happen to you both." I said softly.

He looked at me and Sienna as though he was not sure he should believe us.

"You do not have to trust us right away or believe us right away mitchel. I know we have just met but I promise you that we will show you that you can trust us." I said.

He looked at me for a short while longer before nodding.

"Something tells me to trust you inside here and here." He said frowning a little bit seeming confused as he pointed to his heart and his stomach.

"That is your heart and gut telling you to trust us and I'm glad. I just hope you will know some day that you can. Even if it is not straight away." Sienna said softly.

He nodded his head with tears pouring down his eyes before turning back to his sister.

"We live in an orphanage. We was told our parents never wanted us because we were useless. They was not the nicest of people and we did what we had to do to survive. I promise you both I would have never stolen the food if I did not have to but annabelle was so hungry and I could not let her starve to death. Even if I am only a little bit older she is still my baby sister." He whimpered out.

"I would have done the same thing if I was in your situation mitchel. I have two twin sisters. " I said.

He looked at me surprised.

"Are they both wolves as well." He asked intrigued.

I chuckled and nodded my head.

"Yes but my wolf is still better then theirs." I said with a smirk making him giggle and me and Sienna smile.

"Annabelle loves wolves. She has always had a fascination with them. " he said softly.

"Well I am sure she will enjoy mine and my sisters. Maybe one day I could bring you to my pack, you will see plenty off wolves then." I said with a chuckle thinking about all the wolves in my pack.

He smiled and nodded but did not say anything else.

We all stayed silent for a short while, no one really knowing what to do or say but it wasn't uncomfortable.

I looked over at Sienna who was looking at the twins with so much sadness it made my heart clench.

"We need to speak soon baby." I said softly through mindlink.

She nodded in understanding but before we could say anything else we was cut off by the sound of groaning coming from Annabelle.

The relief I felt when she started to open her eyes surprised me. I just hope we can make her and mitchel feel safe and at home.
