“Alright, I’ll leave it to you.” Shen Xian was very reliant on Shi Zhong. Hearing him say this, she did not doubt him and trusted him to handle all the difficult matters.

Seeing that the opening theme song was about to end, Shen Xian smiled and couldn’t help but urge, “I’ll hang up first. My son’s television drama is about to start. I can’t miss any details.”

The next day, Shi Man had to drive to school alone as usual. However, before she left, she was suddenly stopped by Shen Xian. She grabbed her youngest son, who was stuffing bread into his mouth, and pushed him to Shi Man’s side. She took the initiative to suggest, “Let your brother send you to school in the future. It’s on the way for the two of you anyway.”

Shi Mu widened his eyes and looked at Shen Xian in surprise. He couldn’t help but nod repeatedly like a chick pecking at rice. “Mom is right. Sister, go to school with Brother in the future. Why do you have to drive yourself?!”

Last night, her husband had personally instructed her to try her best to stop the two of them from meeting before finding out Yi Zheng’s true motive. Just in case, she pushed Shi Mu out as an excuse. She was mainly afraid that Yi Zheng would stop Shi Man halfway and insist on seeing her precious daughter.

However, after she arranged this, she shook her head and smiled helplessly as she sat on the sofa.

She belatedly felt that what she did was completely unnecessary. With Yi Zheng’s temperament and ambition, he should not take up time at work and specially come to see Shi Man.

Unfortunately, things did not go as planned. This morning, Yi Zheng really waited at the school gate just to meet Shi Man.

After seeing her and Shi Mu get out of the car together, Yi Zheng, who was sitting in the backseat, frowned slightly. He opened the car door and got out of the car. He buttoned his suit jacket with his right hand. He slowly walked up to the two of them and stood still. He said dryly, “Morning.”

“So?” Shi Man frowned at him in confusion. What did what he said have to do with her?

Yi Zheng pursed his lips and said calmly, “Can I invite you to lunch with me? I’ve booked a place in the best hotel in the city. Your brother can come along.”

Shi Man glanced at Shi Mu and saw her brother’s exasperated expression. She couldn’t help but smile. “Forget it. I’m afraid my brother will want to eat you even more.”

With that, she pulled Shi Mu into the school without looking back and ignored the man who was abandoned.

Shi Mu held his sister’s hand excitedly and grinned. “Sister, you did very well just now. We don’t lack that mouthful of food, so we don’t have to go with him. Brother will pick you up at the entrance of your class at noon and bring you to eat delicious food.”

“Alright.” Shi Man nodded in agreement. Then, she suddenly retracted her hand and spread her hands at him. “Where’s the umbrella?”

Shi Mu was stunned for a moment before he reacted. He quickly took out the umbrella from his backpack and placed it in her hand. He asked curiously, “Whose umbrella is this? Are you going to return it to its owner?”

“Yes.” Shi Man nodded lightly.

She wasn’t deliberately hiding that person’s name, but she suddenly couldn’t remember his name, so she didn’t say anything and returned to her class with the umbrella.
