In the private room, Shi He and Shi Mu competed with each other and fought to put food into Shi Man’s bowl. Seeing that it had already piled up into a small mountain, Shi He slammed his chopsticks down and said angrily, “Who asked you to follow me? I want to treat my sister to a meal alone!”

“Sister invited me!” Shi Mu smiled smugly. He rolled up his sleeves and pretended to go out to look for his sister to support him.

When Shi Man returned to the private room, she saw that her two brothers were still secretly competing. They squeezed at the door and refused to give in.

Shi He frowned worriedly. “Why don’t I get Ning Hui to drive over? Sister can just sit in the back with us.”

Shi He and Shi Mu looked at each other and could only get into the car on tenterhooks.

“Slow down, slow down! My baby, you scared me to death!” Shi He held the armrest and widened his eyes to the maximum. He looked out of the window nervously and helped her look out for the cars in front and behind.

Shi Man smiled casually and glanced at Su Tang, who was sitting steadily in the front passenger seat. She suddenly asked, “Aren’t you afraid?”

“I’m not afraid.” Su Tang shook her head in embarrassment. “I believe in your strength.”

Although she did not know how good Shi Man’s skills were, she inexplicably trusted Shi Man. She felt that anything could be easily resolved in Shi Man’s hands.

Shi Man smiled. Before she could speak, her light-colored eyes suddenly turned cold. She looked coldly at a bright spot reflecting a cold light in the rearview mirror. “Looks like someone can’t hold back anymore.”

“What?” Su Tang did not understand what she meant. She looked up in a daze and saw Shi Man’s tense profile. There was a mocking smile on her lips and a crazy look in her eyes.

“Hold on tight,” Shi Man growled. She held the steering wheel with one hand and used the other to press the control lever on the accelerator under her feet to raise the car to the highest speed. The car almost overtook the car on the right.

The driver behind her, who did not know the truth, honked crazily. The honk resounded through the entire street.

“Sister, what are you doing!” Shi He grabbed the armrest nervously and advised anxiously, “Don’t drive so fast. Slow down! It’s too dangerous!”

“It’s only dangerous if we don’t drive faster.” Shi Man stared darkly at the car that was flashing with silver light. “Someone is following us. The gun is about to hit our heads.”

“What did you say? A gun?” Shi He pulled down the window in disbelief and stuck his head out to look behind.

Shi Man immediately turned the steering wheel and changed her position to a safe place. The bullet brushed past the car. As long as Shi Man was a step slower, the bullet would undoubtedly enter Shi He’s head.

“Close the car window and stay in,” Shi Man ordered coldly.

However, she couldn’t help but think of Yi Zheng, who had suddenly appeared in the afternoon. She felt that this matter must have something to do with him.
