Aradhya was shocked to see Parvati at their doorsteps. A woman who was known to never step out of their palace, for her to be standing at Aradhya's doorsteps made her speechless.

Rajveer along with Yuvraaj who had been at office never knew of this visit that Paravati had squeezed out secretly.

Parvati gave an aloof and arrogant nod to Aradhya, who even though was shocked, staring at her. Parvati raised an eyebrow, a small bitter smile on her face as she mocked, "Kya ab Sharmas Hume apne Ghar Mai bhi nahi bulayenge?"

Her words an impertinent sneer, being their an ignominious situation for Parvati. How could it not be? Coming to a family as small and low status family for her son? Yuvraaj keeping a mistress would have been more orthodox than marrying such girl who held an anonymous blood line. Atleast the girl would have known her place.

She couldn't believe the audacity of these people. Yuvraaj Singh Chauhan, her son proposed their daughter and they dared to keep him waiting this long? She wouldn't take this humiliation well.

Hearing her words though, Aradhya moved aside. A small uneasy smile forming on her face, "Ji nahi, Rani Sa. Welcome to our humble abode."

Parvati grimaced, eyeing the place that seemed too shabby to put her feet. She nodded, with an unpleasant expression, "Really humble." Her voice muttering as she stared all around, "I'll have Yuvraaj increase their wages, just look at what shabbiness is this?"

Aradhya smiled at her, uncomfort visible in her eyes. Was she here to decline the marriage request?

Aradhya wouldn't be surprised, it was her own daughter's fault after all. Who would want to be associated with a characterless girl? Royals never wore used shoes, used women would most probably not even see the gates of such high prestige.

Aradhya spoke up, showing her the couch, "Baithiye aap, aap chai lengi yaa coffe--"

"Aapke Ghar se? Zarurat se zyada ek bund Paani Tak nahi chahiye." She spoke up, her voice as if disgusted by sitting on the couch.

Aradhya stared at royal woman with a loss, when suddenly men entered through the doors, carrying presents that made Aradhya's eyes widen. Parvati scoffed, staring at her with pursed lips. Bloody gold diggers.

She spoke getting straight to point, "I am here to see your daughter. I wish for her hand in marriage to my eldest son, the King of Rajasthan, Yuvraaj Singh Chauhan." As Parvati spoke the cold words, a bitter taste was left in its awake.

The words had never felt so acidic as they felt at that moment, as she proposed something that would buy her son's happiness. No matter what, One thing Yuvraaj asked of her, she would get it for him. Her son had suffered alot, more than anybody else, how could she let him suffer anymore?

But to marry somebody who was not even of the same status? Parvati worried the girl might be worthless!

She would never doubt Yuvraaj's choice, but she couldn't trust some lowly girl with her reputation either. What if she didn't even hold basic manners?

Before coming over, Parvati had already run her investigations on Siya. Her mind thinking of atleast one reason for her to decline this relationship. To make Yuvraaj hate this god forsaken girl but to her surprise she found none.

When she saw the reports, she almost vomitted blood in anger seeing just how clean the girl seemed! It could be pretense, she knew of it. She had seen a hundred royals, with the same fakeness that the girl's report portrayed. But what surprised her the most was that it even clearer in records as compared to many girls even from the most prestigious family. Her grades had been top notch, so illiteracy couldn't be problem, her education making her speechless.

Her records held no criminal background or sightings with boys. If Parvati hadn't been blinded by her rage....she would have actually liked seeing such an upright character that Siya held.

Later she convinced herself that it was her Yuvraaj that had such keen eyes. Even when searching in a stack of garbage, atleast he didn't grab a stingy piece that would let down the family. Knowing the girl could be groomed into royalty, even if it meant breaking her to reshape her bones, Parvati was slightly consoled knowing her reputation wouldn't be drowned.

Seeing Aradhya speechless, Parvati uttered her words in impatience. "I want to meet your daughter, Since I understand you wouldn't have any doubts regarding this marriage." Just one look, and even Parvati knew of Aradhya's character. Hearing Yuvraaj's words, Siya's reaction as well as her meet with Aradhya, it was enough for her to know everything.

She herself was a mother after all. The woman infront her was of the lowly mentality, and it was enough for her to complain to Yuvraaj. A woman who couldn't stand for her own daughter, wasn't a mother she would like to be associated with.

Even though Parvati had always been egoistic, her love for her children could be called twisted but never insincere. She with her whole heart wanted their happiness, and it was solely this mother's heart that she even came here to discuss Yuvraaj's marriage.

Aradhya's smile stiffened at Parvati's mocking words, but nonetheless she nodded. "I'll call her." Hurrying up, she rushed to call Siya down. Heavens knew what her useless daughter in her previous life to land such a luck, Aradhya sneered in her heart.

Ruining her own family, yet she manages to get out unharmed and everybody on her side. Even after being with such low character, getting married in the royal family. Surely born with a golden spoon.

She opened the door to Siya's room, her eyes falling on the girl on the bed with her niece feeding her. Siya looked up flinching, seeing her mother.

Aradhya rushed to her, pulling her up as she harshly fixed her clothes she spoke with soft words regardless of bitter heart. As long as she was soft, Siya would do whatever she wished. Her son's careers were on line here, she would have to get Siya to agree. "Raani Sa Parvati Devi is here to see you. Behave well."

Siya stiffened at the words, her expression filling with terror as she stared at her mother seeking any form of comfort. Her heart sinking, as she searched for any ounce of assurance, you don't need to marry him beta, I trust you.

Only marry whom you love, meri bacchi. Maa loves you.

Say no, I will take care of everything.

Despite her needing the assurance the most in her life at that moment, she craved for her Nishant Bhai's hug. She craved for her father's protectiveness. But when her mother saw her, she sighed with soft eyes. Aradhya putting her hand on her daughter's cheeks, as she uttered the words that left Siya with an aching heart. "Your Bhaiya's job and livelihood depends on your answer Siya. Don't you love us? Wouldn't you want to protect them?"

Siya's breath lodged in her throat, finding it difficult to breath as she stared at the ground. Her heart hurting, as her mother pleaded her rather than calming down her fears.

"Siya..., Please do this for your Maa." Tears filled Aradhya's eyes, which made Siya's eyes shoot upto her mother's, filling with panic as she stared at her Maa. She spoke up all too quickly, "N-no, Maa! Don't  cry...," She looked down, lost in thoughts before she weakly nodded. "I will say yes for the marriage."

Aradhya stared at her daughter, the daughter she had raised with a mother's heart but a daughter who broke her trust. Still when she so easily wrote out her life in her mother's name an unknown pain twitched in her heart. Siya would never let down her parents.

With tears in her eyes, Siya fixed herself up. Her heart so scared that she wanted to lock herself up and hide beneath her bed so that nobody could find her. She craved for the claustrophobia to kick in, to suffocate her enough so that she passes out and doesn't have to face the situation. She almost would have rathered dying that facing the given situation.

When she walked down her head was bowed in submission, as a thousand thoughts raged her mind.

When Siya finally came infront of Parvati, Parvati's eyes Parvati scanned her from head to toe. Her eyes looked at the total submission that Siya portrayed towards her and some of her arrogance was satisfied and her stance softened. The tear stains suggested that Siya was forced enough, but then looking at Aradhya it wasn't difficult that the woman had manipulated her daughter.

Parvati raised an eyebrow, grimacing. She didn't care but this was very disgraceful.

When Siya greeted her, she just nodded with an aloof expression. "Sit down, Siya." Parvati commanded, watching as Siya listened without a question.

She held her chin, making her look up. Her eyes searching for what Yuvraaj saw in her, and she didn't need to search for long. Up until now, in her pictures, in her stance, Parvati hadn't seen Siya's face clearly.

Seeing it moving, alive. She couldn't deny her son's brilliant eyes.

Siya's eyes, a shade of brown that swirled with innocence and elegance that she had never seen before in the royal blood. Her eyes that seemed to hold the enchanting captivation in them, along with her gaze it was no wonder that Yuvraaj would go for her. Even if Yuvraaj had seen many beauties, much more beautiful than Siya, even though her heart understood, Parvati couldn't find what it was that made Yuvraaj rather be celibate than marry someone that wasn't Siya. Parvati spoke up, her words were blank and meaning business. "I want you to marry my son, Yuvraaj."

Siya's shoulders stiffened just at his name, which made Parvati wonder if she really was as innocent or just acting up? For this girl, my Yuvraaj denied me?

As Parvati spoke, her arrogance was reflected in her words, "My son is the Chair person of The Chauhan's Groups, and is one of  the leading business man of the world. There's simply nothing that he can't get with just one word. The profit is yours here." She looked at Siya as if weighing her value, "Trust me, You're getting it very cheap."

Her eyes held bitterness as she looked at Siya in her eyes, as she spoke the words that felt far too acidic on her tounge. "My son never asked for anything, never denied me of anything I asked of him. The first, exception being you." Her words turning cold at the end, she stared at Siya harshly that made Siya look at her with terror filling her heart.

The hostile eyes of his mother, as she spoke the next words unfeeling towards Siya's situation. "It would be a shame if I couldn't grant him his wish, grant him you."

"I sit here, to ask you to marry my son." Her words held finalty, eyes held dominance as if her presence demanded an answer that couldn't be negative.

Siya looked down, this was real. Final.

If she said yes, her life would be signed away to a man to do as he pleased. No matter her tears, her misery or her happiness, there would be no escape. If she said no, she would lose her Maa, her family and possibly her respect. What would she gain?

She took a deep breath, looking up. Holding back the tears that stung her eyes, she nodded speaking up shakily.

"I am ready for this marriage."
