Chapter 157
Triplets on Secret Mission by Lamour Toujours
Chapter 157 Molly listened to the tripletâs heartwarming words while hugging them in her arms as she lifted the corner of her mouth. She refused to let those irrelevant people and things make her sad.
However, both sides defended Diana instead of her. She could not help but ask herself, âIs something wrong with me?â âWhy do both my biological and foster parents hate me?â
She had an indescribable feeling. âMommy, donât think too much.â Claudia smiled at Molly while shaking her head. âWeâll protect you,â Alex said unhesitatingly. âYeah, mommy. No one can ever bully you as long as weâre here!â Ben put on a stern expression and patted his chest, looking serious. Molly was amused. She started leaving low thoughts out of the way as she looked at the triplets who were worried about her So what if something was really wrong with her? She had the best kids in the world nevertheless!
She did not necessarily need everybody in the world to like her anyway.
âIâm fine. Thank you all for coming to save me today.â She rubbed the tripletâs head as she said gently. Her heart was as calm as still waters. âNo worries, mommy! Youâve got to thank Uncle Sean too!â Claudia thought that it was a perfect chance to praise Sean in front of Molly!
âYeah. We wouldnât have done that if Uncle Sean didnât bring us there.â Alex took the hint and helped Claudia to get Sean and Molly closer.
Molly looked at the front passenger seat. Indeed, he did not have to even speak. His intimidating presence alone was enough to shut everybody up. âThank you, Mr. Anderson and Mr. Hill, for bringing my kids all the way there.â
âDonât mention it,â Sean replied flatly as he sat on the front passenger seat. He gazed at the streets outside the window while listening to the conversation at the back.
Two of them exchanged courteously. The tripletâs eyes glowed as if they were flirting with each other.
âMs. Molly, donât take their words seriously. Theyâre not worth it.â Tony said as he turned the steering wheel âThose people were just ignorant. Theyâre worse than the old me! How dare they call themselves Ms. Mollyâs family... How ironic.â
After they reached home. Molly looked at the triplets who were sitting on the sofa and said, âYou guys havenât read a book today.
Go study for a while now.â They were very obedient. They did not want Molly to worry about them, so they went to study compliantly. Grandpa Dave became the only person left on the sofa. He looked at Molly and said, âMy precious granddaughter, donât be bothered by them. It doesnât matter if your parents donât love you. I will.â Molly was never accepted by the May Family.
He could not make his granddaughter stay even though he tried his best to help. But now, the only thing he wanted to do was to give Molly the love he did not have the chance to give.
Grandpa Dave felt the most uncomfortable at what happened today. His granddaughter got mistreated by his own son and a bunch of outsiders. He could not imagine what would Molly go through if he was not there to defend her today.
Mollyâs heart was shattered, and she felt a lump in her throat. She forced a smile and said, âI never expected anything from them anyway. Donât worry. But, grandpa, I didnât know that you gave my foster parents money.â
She had never heard anything about that from Grandpa Dave before.
âThey raised you up anyway. I found out that they were going through a tough time, so I wanted to repay them. However, I only learned that they mistreated you afterward.â Grandpa Dave explained patiently. He paused as he sounded unhappy. He asked the people living around them and discovered that the couple favored their son over their daughter. They made Molly do all the hard work.
