Chapter 181
Triplets on Secret Mission by Lamour Toujours
Chapter 181 When Molly opened the door, she saw Caden standing outside the door with a piece of luggage. His eyes looked embarrassed the minute he saw her. Molly was shocked to see him, but she also noticed the embarrassment in his eyes.
âCome in.â Molly quickly invited him in. While she walked him to the living room, she thought, âSomething mustâve happened to th e Grants.â
Molly passed him a glass of warm water and said in a nicer tone, âWhat happened?â
When she looked closely, Cadenâs eyes seemed slightly red. âDid he cry?â she wondered.
Caden did not make a sound. He just looked down and stared at the cup of water in his hand. The warmth of the water was warming up his cold fingers.
He did not want to tell his sister the reason for his visit as he did not want to burden Molly with the terrible things that were going on in his family. Molly did not push him as well. She just looked at him quietly and thought, âCaden has always been a nice kid. I never had to worry about him when I was with him. What on earth happened for him to come to see me?â After some time, Cadenâs lips moved, and his slightly hoarse voice was heard. âMolly, I want to drop out of school.â
He then took a sip of water.
Dropping out was a major decision, and he could not do it himself. However, he had really thought about it, which was why he went to look for Molly.
Molly frowned. âCaden is already in his senior year in high school, and heâs going to sit for his finals and graduate the next semester. Itâs not rational for him to drop out now.â
âWhat exactly happened?â âCaden, tell me. What happened?â She continued, âWe should solve every problem we face, isnât it?â
Mollyâs gentle voice made Caden tearyâ
eyed. He then said hesitantly, âA student accused me of stealing their money, and my teacher got involved. Dad and mom were a lerted about this, and they just so happened to bring Diana back to her home. When Diana knew about this, she immediately said I was guilty. So, Iâarg ued with her and left right after.â His nose started to burn after he finished speaking, so he took a deep breath in, and Molly quickly handed him a paper towel.
Though Caden was brought up in the countryside, he was still a boy. An outsider falsely accused him, and when he got home, he had to listen to Dianaâs insults. It was only natural for him to be frustrated.
Teenagers are in their rebellious phase. He was accused but had received no support from his family. Worse, they were still questioning his integrity.
Caden could not take it, and he could not help but compare the difference between Diana and Molly. âShe treats me like dirt, and sheâs accusing me now. So, I just told her that she was not my sister. I only have one sister, and thatâs you. Then... Then, she slapped me. âDad and mom saw her hitting me, s o mom scolded her. She got upset, and they started fighting.â âNo one wanted to back down, so everyone started fighting each ot her. This family is a mess,â Caden thought.

DED Caden did not want to think about them anymore. Other than insults, there was nothing but violence. There was not an ounce of love that a normal family would have. Back when they were living in the countryside, they were still living a ca
