Chapter 20
Triplets on Secret Mission by Lamour Toujours
Chapter 20 Ben and Claudia purposely squeezed in next to Sean, forcefully pushing Tony away. They were extremely welcoming as they scooped the food for Sean. âThis shrimp is delicious; these sweet and sour ribs too! These are my momâs signature dishes; you have to eat more of these!â âHow does it taste?â Ben asked with anticipation. The food on Seanâs plate had obviously increased, but he did not look frustrated at all. Instead, he answered them seriously after tasting all of the food, âNot bad indeed.â Sean did not answer them half-heartedly because they were little children. The tripletsâ eyes twinkled when they heard his answer. They were overjoyed. âAs expected!â âHis taste is exactly the same as ours!â Molly felt extremely defeated when she looked at her children, who had changed. âThough heâs rich, you donât have to be this warm to him,â Molly thought. She squinted her charming eyes as she felt that something was off. Mother knows best, so Molly could tell that they had other motives when she saw them putting in so much effort. âDo they still want to pair me up with Sean?â The more she thought of it, the more it clicked. Molly chuckled coldly in her heart. She knew what they were up to, but she did not want to burst their bubble. After they had their lunch, Molly cut up a few fruits and served them on the teapoy before she cleared the table. When she was done, Tony suggested, âDr. May, we know each other quite well now that weâve eaten together. Letâs forget about the misunderstanding between us before. Can you see if you have the time to run a check-up for my boss? After all, itâs never too early for treatment.â
âYouâre more invested in this than the patient himself!â Molly looked at him flatly as she spoke. However, she did not like to delay things. Since she had already accepted this task, she would definitely be responsible for it, so she immediately responded, âIâm not keeping quiet about this on purpose, but there isnât sufficient equipment here for now, and I need to have a look at his previous medical reports. Besides, youâre both clear that itâs hard to treat an old condition. If itâs convenient for you, Iâll head over to your place.â âWe completely understand.â Tony was elated to hear this, so he nodded with a smile on his face. âOf course, of course, itâs convenient for us.â Tony then pushed Sean out of Mollyâs place and toward their own house. Molly followed behind, but her children obviously wanted to tag along. She did not stop them from doing so as well. They walked to Seanâs place in a line. When they entered his home, they realized that the decoration was exactly the same as theirs! But the decoration in Seanâs place was more complete, and he had pieces of expensive calligraphy hung on the walls. Molly also caught sight of a calligraphy art that was auctioned three years ago in Lishal. She distinctively remembered that the art was sold for eighty million dollars! âIt was sold to a private buyer. Turns out, that person is Sean!â Molly thought. âPlease take a seat.â Sean invited them to sit. Molly sat on the couch, and the triplets kept still as they sat next to her, behaving extremely well. âTony, go get the documents,â Sean ordered Tony to fetch him his medical reports. Tony nodded as a response and gave Molly the reports in a short amount of time.
âDr. May, these are my bossâ past reports. Please have a look.â Molly took it and pulled out film by film as she inspected them carefully. Her seriousness was suffocating to Tony. After all, this was his bossâ only hope! Even Sean could not help but clench his fists. Molly roughly understood Seanâs condition and placed the report down before she looked up to meet his eyes with a flat expression. âPlease lie down.â
