Chapter 194
Triplets on Secret Mission by Lamour Toujours
Chapter 194 It was getting late. When Molly finished watching the fifth film, she noticed that Sean had not yet come out of his room.
Molly frowned and went upstairs, knocking on his door. Sean had been lost in his work, and the unexpected knock on the door served as a wake-up call, jolting him back to reality. âAlmost forgot about the treatment,â he thought.
âCome in,â Sean said. He set the document down, rubbed his glabella, and looked at the person who walked in through the door.
âHe was obviously not in good health, and he still had such a huge workload,â Molly frowned as she noticed Seanâs tired eyes.
âIsnât he aware of balancing work and rest?â
Molly wanted to say the words in her head to Sean, but she restrained herself. She disliked interfering with other peopleâs lives.
âLetâs get started with the treatment.â Molly made a gesture while holding the needle case.
After the treatment Molly was also tired. Before she left, she said, âThe nighttime temperature here is lower than in Northfolk. Remember to put on a coat and get some rest after you take a bath.â
âAll right,â Sean said, opening the notebook on the table. Molly didnât bother Sean any further after noticing how busy he was. A breeze blew outside at night, and the air became slightly cooler. Molly was sound asleep when she was startled by a knock on the door.
âMs. May! Are you there?â
Molly sat up, perplexed, and quickly came to.
âMs. May!â
âIt was Tonyâs voice,â Molly pondered. Molly quickly put on her coat and went down to open the door. âWhatâs the matter?â she asked.
She opened the door and looked at the person. Her hair was a little unkempt, and her voice was sluggish.
âBoss has a fever!â exclaimed Tony. He didnât want to barge in, so he could only yell at the door. âI understand that disturbing someoneâs sleep is immoral. But I had no choice!â Tony thought.
Tony thought.
Mollyâs expression changed, and she walked straight into Seanâs room. âWhy did he suddenly get a fever?â she wondered. Tony quickly followed behind her, sensing her annoyance and fearing that she had misinterpreted him. Hence, he said timidly, âMs. May, I followed your instructions. After the bath, I put on a coat for my boss and gave him a cup of hot water before putting him to bed.â âEver since Ms. May caught the boss drinking, she has said that if he does not follow her instructions, she will no longer treat him. We didnât mess around and did exactly what was asked of us! Ms.
May is, after all, the bossâs only hope. We, of course, listened to her. Itâs just that the sever came so suddenly...â
Tony was also panicking in his heart.
They entered Seanâs room.
Molly sat beside the bed as she frowned at the person on the bed. âHis face was pale, not flushed, and a little weak.â
âThereâs a bag on the table in my room. There was a box inside. Take two pills after opening . the box and counting the third compartment from left to right.â Molly said calmly, her attention focused on the patient. âPlease get the needle case as well,â she added. âOkay, Iâll bring them right away,â Tony said. He turned around and went to get the items requested. Molly sat there silently watching. After a while, the man on the bed asked softly, âAre you angry?â âNo, Iâm not. You didnât intend for this to happen,â Molly stated. Her tone was less agitated than the last time.
There are numerous causes of fever. Molly, as a doctor, was not blaming the patient. Furthermore, because the person in front of her is not a child, she does not need to repeat herself three or four times.
The priority right now is to get the fever under control.
Tony returned with the items and handed them to Molly. âThe medicine will be very bitter, but donât spit it out,â said Molly.
