Chapter 43 “Besides, this wouldn’t happen if that freaking Molly didn’t coax Grandpa Dave to go live with her. Honestly, I know what she’s up to. She must be waiting for Grandpa Dave to move in with her so she could act pitiful and take Grandpa Dave’s shares and properties for herself. She’s pure evil!” Lara complained as she had already regarded Molly as the same type of person as the Grant family from the countryside. It was rare to see a mother thinking so badly of her own daughter.

Molly pushed open the door and entered the ward. Everyone heard the commotion and looked in her direction. When they saw her, they frowned as they wondered, ‘Who called her here?’ “Why are you here?” Lara immediately questioned her. Walter and Nathan furrowed their brows as well.

Molly’s eyes were cold as they swept across the May family intensely before stopping at Diana. She stared Diana down and said to them, “I’m obviously here to visit grandpa!” She was about to walk into the ward when she was done speaking. They did not want to see her, but neither did she! Or else she might not be able to control her rage.

Suddenly, a figure stopped in front of Molly. It was Nathan!

He blocked Molly and said with a straight face, “You shouldn’t be here. Grandpa only got hurt because he wanted to look for you.”

Molly looked up and glared at him sharply as she questioned him, “What a joke. Who was the one who caused this? Don’t you all know? Didn’t this happen because you people tried to stop him? Mr. May, you’ve been educated for nine years. Where did all that knowledge go? Even a three-year-old knows how to admit their mistakes.... You’re protecting the culprit and putting the blame on me. How ridiculous!”

She then looked at Diana. “Since you caused this, own up to it. Do you think you’re innocent just because you cried? Let me get this straight, although the May family can forgive you, I will not! I will kill you if something happens to grandpa, no matter if you did it intentionally or not!”

Diana took a few steps back as her eyes met Molly’s cold gaze. At the same time, she was angry at Molly for startling her. After all, Molly was just a country bumpkin to her. ‘So what if she’s the real daughter of the May family? I still have Walter and Lara wrapped around my finger.’ For that reason, Diana had always turned her nose up at Molly and believed that she was higher than her. Molly pretended like she did not see that scene. “Move!” she said coldly as she stared at Nathan. She then pushed him aside and walked to Grandpa Dave’s bed.

With a worried look on her face, Molly placed her hand on his wrist. Then, she was relieved and thought, ‘Thank god. His pulse is stable. It should be a minor injury, nothing serious.’ Her triplets were next to her. They were also very worried about Grandpa Dave and asked,” Mommy, how is great-grandpa doing?” “Nothing much. He’s sleeping now. He probably injured his muscle and bones,” Molly answered them gently.

The May family was confused when they heard her. ‘Why does she know about Grandpa Dave’s condition when she just got here?’
