Chapter 426 ‘Benjamin could definitely do more than I could.

‘At least he would be able to be there for Molly immediately when she needs him.’

Sean felt that he was useless, but he tried to hide it. He thought that the few minutes he spent in the room were longer than the entire day of waiting.

“What else could we be?”

His worries flew off the handle after he heard Molly‘s response. Then, he said directly, “You can tell that Benjamin has feelings for you, right?”

Molly‘s pupils shrank as she was a little surprised. She bit her lips and looked at Sean for a few seconds before she asked,” How did you know that?”

‘They didn‘t know each other, right? Somebody even told me that they had no connections of any kind with each other at all.‘

Sean chuckled when he saw Molly‘s reaction. “It‘s very obvious.”

He almost forgot that she could really be a dense person at certain things.

For example, everybody knew why he could not get along with Benjamin, but she did not know at all.

Molly blinked her eyes and subconsciously pouted slightly. She was very shocked.

Then, she fell into her thoughts for a few seconds. She pressed her fingernails against her palm as she looked at Sean again, and he still looked a little helpless.

“Fine. Benjamin confessed to me today. I didn‘t know how to respond to him at first, but I rejected him in the end.” Molly told him.

“I never wanted to start anything with Benjamin. I‘ve always kept my distance and treated him as a friend this whole time.”

“Since the day we met.” She added.

Molly had no idea why, but she felt like telling him more when she looked at Sean‘s face. So, she continued, “I had a hard time living alone in another country a few years back, not to mention that I have to take care of the triplets as well. Benjamin was the one who helped me when I needed support. I and the triplets wouldn‘t be where we are today without him throughout those difficult times.”

Sean listened to her voice silently without interrupting. The uneasiness he felt was slowly washed away, and he started to feel better.

“So, Benjamin is only my friend, and nothing more. I didn‘t bring it up previously even though I knew he has feelings for me because I didn‘t want to hurt him. I have no other intentions.” Molly could still tell if she liked a person or not no matter how dense she could be.

She was very certain that she had no romantic feelings for Benjamin throughout all these years.

Molly asked after she was done talking.

“Do you understand?”

She had it difficult, and she did not have many friends too. Unlike Sean, he had nothing to worry about growing up and he even has power and money.

So, she was only treating Benjamin like a good friend. She had no idea what Sean was mad about.

She felt weird right after she asked that question. ‘Why did I explain so many things to him?‘

Sean was not that childish. He could understand what Molly was trying to say and how she was just treating Benjamin as a friend.

“Yeah,” he responded flatly.

And, it could be seen that Sean‘s mood turned a lot better. However, their possessiveness did not tone down because of that.

‘I just neutralized the only threat around Molly. Now, I must think about how to capture her heart.

‘It‘s best if I could do it before the next threat appears.‘

“Let‘s begin the treatment now.” Molly had no idea what he was planning at all. She stood up, walked to him, and started preparing the treatment.
