Part 26
Night Changes (Macolet au)
As the sun set, the group returned to their rooms to get dressed for Sheena's birthday dinner. The estate staff had transformed the dining hall into an elegant setup with candlelit tables, beautiful floral arrangements, and a soft glow from hanging fairy lights. A live string quartet played in the background, setting the perfect mood for the celebration.
Sheena walked into the venue looking absolutely stunning in her birthday outfitâa sleek, elegant dress that perfectly complimented her beauty. Gwen, of course, had her eyes locked on Sheena the entire time, admiring her girlfriend with pure adoration.
"Happy Birthday, baby," Gwen whispered, placing a soft kiss on Sheena's temple before leading her to the main table.
The dinner was a luxurious feast, with gourmet dishes being served one after another. Throughout the night, Gwen made sure Sheena was spoiledâwhether it was feeding her, pouring her wine, or sneaking in kisses between conversations.
Then came the gift-giving. Everyone had carefully picked out something special for Sheena:
Aiah gifted Sheena a custom-designed dress from a top designer, knowing Sheena loved fashion.Maloi presented her with a beautiful painting of Sheena surrounded by flowers, capturing her essence perfectly.Stacey gifted Sheena a rare collector's vinyl set of her favorite artist.Colet, Mikha and Jhoanna gave her a multiple set of luxury jewelry, a sleek diamond bracelets, watches, necklace and earrings that suited her style.Gwenâbeing Gwenâwent over the top and gifted Sheena a brand-new luxury car, a sleek convertible in Sheena's favorite color. The group gasped as Gwen handed over the keys.
"Gwen!" Sheena gasped, covering her mouth in shock. "This is too much!"
Gwen only smirked. "Nothing is too much for my queen."
The group collectively groaned at how whipped Gwen was, but Sheena couldn't stop smiling as she tackled Gwen in a hug.
Then, the staff rolled in a huge cakeâthree tiers, beautifully decorated, and made of Sheena's favorite flavors. The group cheered as Sheena blew out the candles, making a wish before cutting the first slice.
After the dinner, they took many picturesâgroup shots, candid moments, and silly poses. Mikha made sure to sneak in a lot of pictures with Aiah, while Jhoanna found excuses to be next to Stacey in every frame.
The night was filled with laughter, love, and celebrationâSheena couldn't have asked for a better birthday.
-----------------------------
As the celebration continued, the staff brought out bottles of the finest champagne, popping them open as the night turned even more lively. Crystal glasses clinked as everyone made toastsâsome heartfelt, some playful, and some just outright chaotic.
Gwen, as expected, made the most romantic toast for Sheena. "To the love of my life, my queen, my everythingâmay this year bring you even more happiness, success, and love. And remember, no matter what, I'll always be here to spoil you."
The group groaned at how whipped Gwen was, while Sheena just giggled, raising her glass. "I love you, you hopeless romantic."
Jhoanna, already tipsy, raised her glass dramatically. "To Stacey, the most beautiful woman in the world. I meanâuhâto Sheena, of course, the birthday girl!"
Stacey smacked her arm, rolling her eyes with a smirk. "You're lucky I'm in a good mood."
Mikha, sipping her champagne calmly, leaned close to Aiah and whispered, "If you ever want to get away from all the chaos, let me know. I know the perfect places." Aiah giggled, cheeks slightly flushed, as she sipped her own drink.
Meanwhile, Maloiâalready a bit too tipsyâwas clinging onto Colet, whispering sweet nothings and giggling at everything Colet said. Colet, being the ever-patient girlfriend, just held her close and enjoyed her drunken affection.
The group continued to drink and enjoy the fancy champagne, laughing, teasing, and basking in the warmth of each other's company. Eventually, as the night grew late, they started to retreat to their roomsâsome stumbling slightly from the alcohol, others completely sober and just amused by their tipsy friends.
It was a perfect end to a perfect birthday celebration.
------------------------
Colet stirred awake, feeling soft lips pressing all over her face. She groaned slightly, a sleepy smirk forming as she tightened her arms around Maloi.
"Good morning to you too, princess," Colet murmured, her voice husky from sleep.
Maloi giggled, pressing one last lingering kiss to Colet's lips. "You're so warm and comfy. I don't wanna get up."
Colet chuckled, brushing Maloi's messy hair out of her face. "Then don't. We can stay like this for a while."
Maloi sighed contentedly, snuggling closer. "Best. Birthday weekend. Ever."
Colet kissed her forehead. "I'm glad you had fun, baby."
They lay there for a while, wrapped up in each other, enjoying the peace of the morning.
------------------------
The group gathered around the long dining table, dressed in their comfy clothes, the atmosphere light and relaxed after last night's celebration.
Gwen, ever the doting partner, kept placing Sheena's favorite dishes onto her plate, making sure she was eating properly. Sheena, amused but used to this treatment, playfully rolled her eyes. "Gwen, I can serve myself, you know."
"I know," Gwen smirked, pouring Sheena's coffee just the way she liked it. "But it's my duty to spoil you."
Across the table, Jhoanna was also busy, but in a different way. She was stealing bites from Stacey's plate, much to Stacey's annoyance. "Jo, if you want extra bacon, just ask for it," Stacey scolded, swatting Jhoanna's hand away.
"But yours tastes better," Jhoanna replied with a lazy grin, earning an exasperated sigh from Stacey.
Aiah, meanwhile, was distracted, gently feeding Honey little bits of scrambled egg under the table. Mikha, sitting beside her, noticed and chuckled. "You know, you're already spoiling her."
"She's a baby," Aiah pouted, looking up at Mikha. "She deserves to be spoiled."
Mikha just smiled, resting her chin on her hand as she watched Aiah fuss over the pup. "Looks like I have competition now."
Maloi, observing everything, leaned into Colet's side and whispered, "I can't believe how natural Aiah and Mikha look together."
Colet smirked. "And look at Jhoanna. She's so down bad for Stacey, it's painful to watch."
Maloi giggled before taking a bite of her food. "It's entertaining though."
Gwen, overhearing, chuckled. "It's fun seeing our friends in love, isn't it?"
The breakfast was filled with warm laughter, teasing, and lighthearted banter. The group truly felt like a big, chaotic yet loving family.
--------------------------------
As Colet took a sip of her coffee, Maloi leaned into her side, resting her head on Colet's shoulder. "You know," Maloi murmured, "I'm really glad our friends get along."
Colet glanced down at Maloi, a soft smile playing on her lips. "Yeah?"
Maloi nodded, watching as Aiah and Mikha whispered and giggled together like they'd known each other for years, while Jhoanna was busy trying to steal more food from Stacey's plate, much to Stacey's playful frustration. Gwen and Sheena, as usual, were in their own little world, Gwen tending to Sheena as if she were royalty.
"I was a little nervous at first," Maloi admitted. "I mean, our groups are so different. But seeing them now? It's like they were meant to meet."
Colet wrapped an arm around Maloi's waist, pulling her closer. "I get what you mean. I've known these people for most of my life, and seeing them with your friends like thisâit just feels right."
Maloi smiled, pressing a soft kiss to Colet's shoulder. "Maybe it's because we belong together too."
Colet smirked, turning slightly to press a kiss to Maloi's temple. "Maybe? No, definitely."
Maloi giggled, her heart swelling with happiness. Their two worlds had merged seamlessly, and she wouldn't have it any other way.
----------------
The group, now fully energized after breakfast, made their way to the estate's golf carts, ready to explore the farm area. Honey, the tiny ball of energy, excitedly wagged her tail as Aiah scooped her up, securing her in her lap as they all got into their respective carts.
Jhoanna, ever the show-off, spun the wheel dramatically before looking at Stacey with a cocky grin. "You're in for the ride of your life, princess."
Stacey rolled her eyes but couldn't hide her smirk. "Just don't crash and embarrass yourself."
Meanwhile, Mikha helped Aiah settle into the seat beside her, making sure Honey was comfortable. "You good?" Mikha asked.
Aiah nodded, smiling. "Yep! Honey's excited too."
Mikha chuckled. "Guess I gotta make sure my girls have a smooth ride."
Aiah blinked at Mikha's words before her cheeks turned pink, but she decided to let it slide, choosing instead to focus on the adventure ahead.
Colet, on the other hand, was relaxed as she started her cart, Maloi beside her. Maloi stretched her arms and playfully rested her feet on the dashboard.
"Are you seriously putting your feet up like that?" Colet teased.
"I'm your passenger princess," Maloi grinned. "It's only right."
Colet chuckled, shaking her head. "You're lucky I love you."
Gwen and Sheena were in their own little world, with Gwen driving smoothly while Sheena hummed a tune, leaning comfortably against her.
As the carts took off one by one, the sound of laughter filled the air, blending with the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves. The morning sun was warm but pleasant, and the path leading to the farm was surrounded by lush greenery, making the ride feel even more refreshing.
With their playful banter and lighthearted teasing, the group was ready for another fun-filled adventure together.
---------------------------------
As they arrived at the estate farm, the fresh scent of soil and hay filled the air. The farm was breathtaking, with rolling green pastures stretching as far as the eye could see. Wooden fences surrounded the different sections where various farm animals roamed freelyâcows lazily grazing, goats climbing onto small wooden platforms, and chickens clucking as they pecked at the ground.
Mikha, Gwen, Jhoanna, and Colet took the lead, walking ahead and explaining different areas of the farm to Maloi, Aiah, Sheena, and Stacey, who followed closely behind, eyes wide with fascination.
"This place is massive," Maloi whispered to Colet, taking in the endless landscape.
Colet smirked, wrapping an arm around Maloi's waist. "You haven't even seen it all yet," she said. "There's a beach within the estate, just a few miles out. We can go later if you want."
Maloi turned to her, eyes sparkling with excitement. "A private beach? You're just flexing now."
Colet chuckled. "Only for you, baby."
Meanwhile, Mikha and Aiah found themselves near the horse stables. Aiah's eyes lit up at the sight of the majestic animals. "They're so beautiful," she whispered in awe.
Mikha, noticing her excitement, smirked. "Wanna ride one?"
Aiah turned to her, a little hesitant. "I've never ridden a horse before..."
Mikha extended a hand. "I'll teach you. Just trust me."
Aiah bit her lip, then nodded. "Okay."
With Mikha's guidance, Aiah carefully mounted a calm, cream-colored mare while Mikha effortlessly got on a tall black stallion beside her. Aiah's nervousness faded as the horse beneath her moved gently, following Mikha's lead.
"You're doing great," Mikha reassured her. "Just relax and enjoy the ride."
Aiah smiled, feeling a rush of excitement as they slowly rode across the field. Honey, their energetic puppy, ran excitedly alongside them, barking happily.
The rest of the group watched the two with amusement. Sheena nudged Maloi. "They look like they're in a romance movie."
Maloi giggled. "Mikha's a natural with Aiah. And Aiah's totally smitten."
Meanwhile, Jhoanna and Stacey had their own moment as Jhoanna dramatically dodged a group of chickens that came running toward them.
"Jhoanna, they're just chickens," Stacey laughed.
"I don't trust them," Jhoanna huffed, stepping behind Stacey for "protection."
Stacey smirked. "Are you scared? Want me to hold your hand?"
Jhoanna scoffed but held out her hand anyway. "If you insist."
Stacey rolled her eyes but took Jhoanna's hand, much to the latter's delight.
The group continued exploring the estate farm, enjoying the peaceful yet lively atmosphere. With laughter and teasing all around, the day was turning out to be just as magical as the rest of the weekend.
-----------------------------
As they wrapped up their tour of the farm, Maloi turned to the group, eyes sparkling with excitement. "Hey, can we go to the beach next? I wanna see it."
Everyone exchanged glances, then nodded in agreement.
"Sounds like a plan," Mikha said, adjusting her sunglasses.
The group hopped onto the golf carts again, retracing their path through the farm before taking a different route. The scenery began to shiftâgreen pastures and grazing animals gradually gave way to tall swaying coconut trees. The dirt road turned into a path lined with fine, powdery white sand, and the distant sound of waves crashing against the shore became clearer.
"Wow..." Aiah breathed out, her phone already in her hand to snap pictures.
"This is unreal," Sheena said, leaning slightly against Gwen.
Stacey smirked, holding her phone up. "Okay, group photos are a must."
The girls quickly took turns posing, capturing shots of the breathtaking transition from farmland to the tropical coastline. Maloi, grinning widely, pulled Colet close for a selfie. "Smile, CEO-nim."
Colet chuckled, wrapping an arm around Maloi and pressing a kiss to her temple as Maloi snapped the picture.
Mikha and Aiah stood a little off to the side, watching the waves. Honey, the energetic puppy, ran excitedly on the sand, leaving tiny paw prints behind.
Mikha glanced at Aiah and smirked. "Wanna race to the water?"
Aiah raised a brow. "You think you can beat me?"
"Try me, princess."
Without another word, Aiah took off running. Mikha cursed under her breath before chasing after her, laughter echoing between them.
Jhoanna, watching the scene unfold, turned to Stacey with a smirk. "Wanna bet on who wins?"
Stacey rolled her eyes. "You just want an excuse to talk to me, don't you?"
Jhoanna placed a hand over her heart dramatically. "I would never."
Stacey let out a chuckle, shaking her head before pulling Jhoanna into another group picture.
As the waves rolled onto the shore and the sun reflected off the pristine waters, the group reveled in the beauty of the secluded beach. It was the perfect way to continue their weekend getawayâtogether, with laughter, teasing, and the comfort of knowing they were all exactly where they belonged.
------------------------------
As the sun shone high in the sky, the estate staff arrived with their lunch, freshly prepared by the in-house chef. The aroma of grilled seafood, fresh tropical fruits, and refreshing drinks filled the air as the group settled down under the shade of a large beachfront cabana.
"This is amazing," Maloi said, taking a bite of the grilled prawns.
"I could get used to this," Aiah agreed, sipping on a fresh coconut drink.
Nearby, Honey, the energetic puppy, was curled up in the sand, completely passed out after eating.
As they finished their meal, Mikha leaned toward Aiah with a smirk. "Ever tried surfing?"
Aiah shook her head. "Nope, but it looks fun."
Mikha grinned. "Wanna learn? I can teach you."
Aiah glanced at the ocean, then back at Mikha, before flashing her a playful smile. "Only if you promise not to let me fall."
"No promises, princess," Mikha teased, standing up and reaching out a hand for Aiah.
At the same time, Jhoanna stretched her arms and turned to Stacey. "What about you? Up for a challenge?"
Stacey scoffed, flipping her hair dramatically. "I was born for this."
Jhoanna chuckled, shaking her head. "Alright, let's see how long that confidence lasts."
Gwen, who had been quietly watching Sheena sip on her drink, nudged her. "I'm teaching you."
Sheena blinked. "Wait, what?"
"You're learning to surf."
Sheena pouted. "Do I have a choice?"
Gwen smirked. "No."
Meanwhile, Maloi turned to Colet with an eager smile. "You're teaching me, right?"
Colet grinned and ruffled Maloi's hair. "Of course, princess."
With their partners assigned, the girls grabbed the surfboards from the storage area near the cabana and made their way to the water.
The next couple of hours were filled with splashing, laughter, and a lot of failed attempts at staying on the board. Aiah squealed every time Mikha caught her just before she fell, Stacey smacked Jhoanna's arm every time she teased her about wiping out, Sheena clung to Gwen dramatically when she struggled to balance, and Maloi, despite multiple faceplants into the water, kept grinning as Colet helped her up each time.
It was a perfect afternoonâa mix of fun, teasing, and sweet moments shared between them.
