TWENTY THREE.

I notice that there are people just roaming around and it also look like they're guarding the

mansion. The meeting they went to was so long, I'm still waiting for him and guess what it's already

lunch.

An hour ago, I let Cherry go to bring all her things here. Janice and the others then decided to cook

lunch. I went upstairs and still no txt from my parents so I walk back down.

I went inside the kitchen and I'm so amaze when I saw that there are so many people inside and

when they saw me, they stop whatever they're doing and before greeting me.

"Hi Luna Chloe," most of them said and I wave.l told them that I was so bored there and they let me

join them inside.

I decided to cook some of my favorite Filipino food and one of them is adobo and we will just put

lumpia on the sides. I then notice that everyone who is inside the kitchen are now watching me. I

then told them to wrap the vegetables I sauteed and we'll cook them, deep fry.

For my adobe, I put bay leaves, garlic, sliced potatoes and I added some chili powder before

pouring the vinegar and the soy sauce. This is just a basic ingredients, and it is what I know.

Janice then told me that we need to cook a lot of this and I don't know if we can do that.

Someone then came in carrying three big pots, Janice and the others then put the chicken meat and

they smiled at me. I thank them before putting all the ingredients inside before they carry it to a

bigger burner.

Hours of cooking and wrapping I can feel the pain in my hands and when I check my watch I saw

that it's already 1:57 in the afternoon.

A guard came inside and I think his name is Glen.

"Luna Chloe, Alpha Zachary told us that they'll not be coming home for lunch.” I look at him and he

shrugs.

"The meeting is not yet over and Alpha told me that they still have some matters to attend.” he says

and I just nod in response.

I then had an idea to pack them lunch and bring it to them.

I started putting food in the tupperware and Cherry arrived just in time.

"Cherry darling, please come and help us pack all of this, Zachary and the others can't come home

now so I decided to pack this and to there.”

She happily agreed and we packed everything and placed them on top of the table.

"Do you guys want to come with me?” I ask them and they grin.

"We still have things to do Luna and you know our mates are still waiting” Vina mumbles and that

made them all giggle.

"You sneaky women" I say and we laugh.

We then separate ways and I told Cherry to wait for me, I just need to take a bath.

After taking a bath, I went inside our walk-in closet grabbing one of my skinny jeans paired it with

my pink shirt and a converse. I put my phone and wallet inside my sling bag and walk out of our

room.

Cherry and I then walk downstairs and when I saw Glen I called him and he came running. "Glen,

take us where Zachary and the others are, we've prepared them lunch. I'm hoping that we'll surprise

them so I expect that no one will tell them about us coming over." I saw Glen started to panic.

"Luna, we can't leave the pack house and at the same time we must not interrupt their meeting." he

says almost pleading.

"Are you guys hiding something from me? Is there something you want to tell me?" I ask and he

shake his head "I promise that once we give this to them we will go back in here. Please?" he really

can't look me straight in the eyes.

"We're not hiding anything Luna Chloe, just that we really can't disturb them.” he says and I am

glaring at him now.

Hmmmm.

"Glen, I really don't want to get angry and I really am telling you right now that you'll not gonna like

it when I get mad. Are you going to get the car and drive us there or I do it myself?" he then run

outside and I hope he will bring the car.

"Luna Chloe, let's go?" he cheerfully says. Cherry and I then hop inside the car and the thought of

me going to see Zachary is so exciting, I can't even stop myself from smiling.
