Are You my Third Uncle?n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
âMister; letâs talk, pleaseâ¦â
Chi Yi held him by his shoulder, wary that he might snitch on her to her form teacher.
If he was going to leak the matter to another person, then she would not be able to face her parents and elders ever again!
What would her Third Uncle think of her if he found out about this?
âLet go.â
The man warned as he dropped his frigid gaze on her little hands that were holding him back.
ââ¦â She hurriedly withdrew her hands when she saw his chilling look.
Suddenly, she let out a scream, as if she had just discovered an important matter. âOh, god! Donât tell me youâre the parent of one of my classmates?â
He fell silent, and merely frowned at her exaggerated expression.
â⦠Oh, god!â She thought this was the end of her. Turning around to face the wall, she scratched at the limestone structure and refused to stop even as the particles began to dislodge from the wall under her relentless attack. âIâm dead, Iâm dead! I actually did this kinda thing with my classmateâs father⦠Wuwuuwuuuâ¦â
She actually used her mouth on her classmateâs fatherâ¦
As she was wondering if this could be the worst nightmare in her life, she did not know that something terrible, more so than what she was experiencing right now, was coming her wayâ¦
What was going to happen would really turn out to be the worst nightmare of her life!
As she was happily scratching away at the wall, her form teacher came along and saw Chi Zuxu standing outside. Stunned at first, her grouchy face immediately morphed into a welcoming smile as she greeted the visitor, âMister, may I know who you areâ¦â
She initiated her right hand toward Chi Zuxu.
Shaking her hand, the man said, âIâm Chi Yiâs parent, Chi Zuxu. Iâm her Third Uncle.â
âWhat!â
She let out a deafening scream and stared unbelievably at this man standing before her with her eyes turned wide.
âYou⦠What did you just say⦠Who did y-you say⦠you were?â
No no no! Chi Yi, you heard wrong just now. It wasnât trueâ¦
The man locked his gaze on the damselâs distressed look and subconsciously squinted his eyes to take a better look at her before he shot her a frigid question after a pause. âYou⦠are Chi Yi?!â
ââ¦â
PLOP!
A bomb seemed to go off inside her head at that instant, ripping her apart.
This time around, she really did not know how to react. No tears would come even if she wanted to cry!
âThe heavens are playing a joke on meâ¦â
She turned around and squatted in a corner, her hands still scratching the wall without stopping. She looked desperate as she continued to mutter, âHeavens, are you mad? Why are you playing this kinda joke on me. How am I going to continueâ¦â She was almost in tears.
So the man that she went to unbuckle last night, and did something with her mouthâ¦
Turned out to be⦠her Third Uncle, her elder!
This joke had gone beyond its limits!
And the manâs face did not look any better than hers either.
On his sullen prolific face, she could tell that emotions were running high from the way his dark and penetrating eyes looked. A perfect storm was brewing.
âTeacher, I think I know whatâs wrong with our child here! Iâll definitely⦠teach her well after this!â
He forced the words through his gritted teeth and immediately after apologizing, he grabbed her by her collar and dragged her down the stairs.
âHey, hey, hey⦠What are you doing?!â
âUncle, can you not be so roughâ¦â
âBe gentle, please! No matter what, Iâm still a girlâ¦â
âChi Yi, if you donât want a thrashing later. You better shut up now!â
ââ¦â
