Chapter 130
President’s Twins: Buy One, Get One Free
Before Alayna answered, Kevin had arrived. He was 1.85-meter tall. His model-like body figure brought out the best of the white suit he was wearing.
âWhy are you here?â As expected, the first person Kevin talked to was Alayna.
âWhy are you asking? Are you saying that I canât be here because your family owns the place?â
âI donât mean that,â Kevin smiled awkwardly.
âSomebody told me that we have come to an end and that we've reached a parting way. It wasnât too long ago...â
âExcuse me, I still meant what I said last night,â Alayna rolled her eyes. Then, she suddenly waved at the behind of Kevin in a sweet tone, âHoney, Iâm here.â
A man with blonde hair and blue eyes approached them. He was the youngest among the guest tonight. The wide and muscular figure of a western man made him looked like he was a size bigger than Kevin. Alayna held his arm affectionately when he arrived.
âLet me introduce you to my boyfriend, Spencer.â
After greeting Spencer, Hayden quickly pulled Joseph away from the scene.
Alayna and Kevin never admit defeat. Their pride was their priority. The way they fought with each other was a norm for people around them. But this time, Hayden thought Alayna went too far. Kevin looked terrible.
After Hayden and Joseph left, Kevinâs expression worsened. He angrily said, âAlayna if Iâm not mistaken, weâve only broken up last night, and you have already found a new boyfriend?â
âIs there a problem?â Alayna glanced at him, âAfter all, I have a new boyfriend after we broke up, but somebody likes to look for a new girlfriend before he breaks up.â
âI told you she was the sister of a friend.â
âYour friend must have a lot of sisters then.â
â...â
On the other side, Hayden drank some red wine with the guest while holding Joseph's arm. After a while, her face flushed red. She then leaned against Joseph's arm.
There was music playing in the hall. A guest invited Hayden to dance.
Hayden agreed and entered the dance floor.
Hayden was wearing a burgundy red slip dress. Her dress twirl as she danced and she looked stunning under the lights in the hall. It was so eye-
catching that people started to stop and watch Hayden dance.
Kevin approached Joseph with a wine glass in his hand.
They touched glasses as the music played. As they watched Hayden dance, Kevin insulted, âDonât you feel jealous that men are looking at her?â
âShouldnât they be jealous instead?â Joseph was calm, and he took a sip from the wine glass, âAfter all, all they could do is only watching. She belongs to me.â
âItâs good to be positive. I used to be like that,â Kevin shrugged his shoulder, âBut as I grow older, I canât be that positive already.â
Joseph glanced at Kevin and corrected him, âYou wasnât being positive. You didnât care at all in the past.â
Kevin changed girlfriends too fast that sometimes he didnât even remember the name of his ex-girlfriend after a day. This wasnât just being positive. It meant nothing ever matter to him. Having girlfriends was just an act of psychological needs.
âYou are saying that I care now?â
âYou care, but you acted like you didnât,â Joseph glanced at a spot from far, âIf you keep pretending that you donât like her, she wonât be yours.â
âWhat do you mean?â Kevin frowned.
âTake a look.â
Kevin turned and looked at the place where Joseph was starring. He saw Alayna and her new boyfriend standing across the dance floor. They stood very close to each other. Alayna was holding his arm with one hand, and feeding him fruits with another hand.
Kevin immediately went mad.
Alayna wanted to find someone new to make him jealous. Thatâs fine. But she went too far this time!
Kevin chugged the wine down his throat out of anger. He then put down the wine glass and left the scene.
After a song ended, another man approached Hayden to invite her for another dance. Hayden shook her head and rejected the man, saying that she had a headache after drinking. She then quickly walked across the dance floor and came back to Joseph.
âI thought I saw Kevin here just now?â Hayden took a sip of water from a glass handed over by Joseph.
âHe has just left.â
Hayden nodded, and then sighed, âHow long do you think they will be back together?â
âBefore the party ends,â Joseph answered in a casual tone.
âWhat?â Hayden raised her head in surprise, âWhy?â
Joseph starred in a direction across the dance floor. Hayden too looked in the direction Joseph starred. She saw Kevin pulled Alayna away from her new boyfriends and headed into the nearest VIP room. The atmosphere was filled with ambiguity and passion.
âWhat did I miss?â Hayden widened her eyes.
Joseph hugged Hayden and explained shortly, âYou missed the show, where a prodigal return.â
The party ended at around ten oâclock at night. Other than Alayna and Kevin, all the other guests were staying in the hotel. Therefore, the aftermath of the party was so much easier. It wasnât too much to deal with, so Hayden headed to her room after instructing the cleaners to clean up the place.
Haydenâs schedule was filled with the guestsâ itinerary throughout the week. Joseph was with her for the first two days, but he went missing on the third day.
âMr. Beckham had to deal with some stuff. The guest will be under your concern from now on, Ms. Downey.â
When Hayden questioned Josephâs whereabouts, Magnus seemed evasive and suspicious.
âWhat stuff?â Hayden asked.
Magnus coughed and carefully answered, âI didnât know everything about Mr. Beckham. It was a private matter.â
Hayden frowned. Joseph didnât look like a person who didnât know how to set priorities. He wonât usually leave the important guests aside and attend to his private matter unless it was urgent.
Joseph wasnât back until it was after midnight.

She sat on the bed in her puppy eyes and asked Joseph, âYou just got back?
What time is it now?â
Joseph sat on the bed and hugged Hayden, âGo back to sleep. Itâs only midnight.â
Hayden hugged Joseph back on his waist and laid her head on his chest like a gentle kitten.
âSleep.â
Joseph stroked Haydenâs back. His eyes filled with pampering.
Hayden closed her eyes after hearing the sound of the running water in the bathroom. Suddenly, she heard the notification ringtone from the phone.
She reached for the phone on the bedside table with her eyes half-opened.
âDonât forget about tomorrow. Iâll be waiting for you at the airport.â
Hayden frowned. She thought it was a mistakenly sent message. She only realized she took the wrong phone when she saw the name of the sender.
It was Violaâs name on the sender column.
