Chapter 161

After Joseph came out of the washroom, he did not see Hayden in the rest area. The receptionist had just changed shifts. Nobody had seen her even after asking several people.

“Maybe it’s too late so she has gone back first by herself.”

Vivian naturally locked Joseph’s arm in hers and her whole body was almost leaning on Joseph’s arms. Her eyes even slightly reddened and she said with a muffled voice.

“Joseph, I’m a little tired. Bring me home.”

The reception was just behind them. When several attendants in reception saw this scene, they all showed a stunned expression.

Joseph just let her hug him like that. His eyes looked indifferent.

“I’ve called your elder brother. He will come over to accompany you.”

The hands that were holding him almost instantly stiffened. After a moment, the hands were slowly withdrawn.

Vivian sat on the sofa while sagging her head. Her curly bangs covered most of her face but one could feel her disappointment. Joseph’s eyebrows slightly furrowed.

“Go to Alayna’s house.”

A low and deep voice sounded from the back seat. From the rear-view mirror, Joseph’s frowning face could be seen.

Kevin covered his chest and wanted to laugh and weep all at once, “What do you think?”

Not long after, there was a sound of closing the door outside, coupled with Alayna’s voice of speaking “walk yourself out’ which echoed throughout the house for a long time.

Alayna clasped her arms and stared at Kevin, “Your acting skill is a little pompous, you can leave now.”

“You’re indeed kicking down the ladder.”

“Stop talking nonsense. Don’t you see that I have something to do today?” As Alayna said, she shouted at the balcony, “Hayden, he has left, come in.”

Kevin muttered while lifting the quilt. He picked up his shirt from the ground and put it on.

The sound of opening the sliding door sounded from the balcony. Hayden walked in while lowering her head. She said in a muffled voice.

“Thanks.”

She originally intended to go home but when she thought of the matter that Joseph had always been staying at her place recently, she simply came to Alayna’s house directly. When she arrived, she unexpectedly saw that Kevin was at the door. They had not yet become reconciled so he was forced to stand at the door.
