She Became Rich After Divorce
Chapter 38. She is Saanâs STEY
Chapter 38: She is Seanâs Sister
On a soft and luxurious white bed, a young girl slept soundly in her white nightgown Sunlight spilled onto her fair and delicate face, highlighting her cherry red lips
Suddenly, a ringing phone woke her up from her slumber. The groggy girl reached out from under the covers with one slender arm and rubbed her pillow elegantly before answering the call
It was Kate calling, and Cheyenne could hear the highâpitched screams coming from the other end of the line even before she put it on speakerphone. âCheyenne! Something terrible has happened!â
The piercing voice nearly shattered Cheyenneâs eardrums. She quickly turned off speakerphone mode and sat up in bed to look at Kateâs face on screen. âWhat happened? Why are you calling me so early in the morning?â
As she spoke, Cheyenne halfâsat up with beautiful wavy curls cascading lazily down her shoulders onto creamy skin.
She was as delicate as a Barbie doll, with every strand of hair seemingly perfectly arranged. But Kate knew better than anyone that Cheyenne had terrible sleeping position and was lucky to even make it out of bed without looking like a chicken coop.
What do you mean early? Itâs almost ten oâclock, are you not awake yet?â Kate asked.
âUhâ¦well, the thing is, can you come to the hospital? Reece got hurt and heâs staying there,â came the reply.
Reece got hurt? Cheyenne immediately snapped out of her daze and jumped out of bed onto the plush white carpet. âHow bad is it? Is he okay?â Before Kate could answer, Cheyenne heard Reeceâs screams on the other end of the line. âCheyenne! Help me! Iâm in so much pain!â
âIâll die from this pain!â he continued.
âCheyenne, hurry up! And donât forget to buy me half a roast turkey on your way here. Iâm starving too!â
Kate wanted nothing more than to throw her phone at his head. What an idiot!
âYouâre still thinking about eating roast turkey when youâre injured, Cheyenne said, feeling speechless.
Judging from your voice, you sound fine. I donât think your injuries are that serious,â she added.
Reece licked his sexy lips and smiled flatteringly. âWho says theyâre not serious? Iâm really hurt here. Come on, Cheyenne, canât you buy me some roast turkey?â
âGo to the shop near our high school for it. Remember not to add too much pepper.â
In the end, Cheyenne agreed to Reeceâs request since he was a patient after all. After hanging up the phone with him, Kate sent her location to her. After a quick washâup, she changed into a small tank top paired with a white mini skirt and topped off with a long blue shirt.
Malaya curiously approached her as she admired her outfit. âAre you going out today?â
âYes, Malaya, you donât have to wait for me for lunch today.â With that said, Cheyenne put on her sunglasses and looked stunningly cool.
âHuh?â Malaya was clearly surprised and didnât know what else to say.
Cheyenne stopped at the door and softly asked, âMalaya, is there something you want?â
In fact, Malaya had made plans to have lunch with her sister and brotherâinâlaw, and her nephew Emmanuel. She wanted to introduce him to Cheyenne when the family of three came to the Lawrence Villa for lunch, but Cheyenne got out now. She couldnât tell Cheyenne her plans directly, but could only sigh silently and introduce them to each other on another day.
âWell, no, just go ahead. Donât stay outside too late.â
Staring at Malayaâs somewhat disdainful expression, Cheyenneâs eyes twinkled and she went out with a smile.
In her pink Lamborghini with sunglasses covering half of her face and only revealing her delicate nose and cherryâred lips, she attracted attention from passersby. Some even whistled at her. With a step on the accelerator, her car whirled out of sight.
Cheyenne drove towards the shop that sold roast turkey nearby Akloit High School where Reece and she graduated three years ago.
The area had changed significantly since then but this snack shop remained unchanged.
Usually, the customers were students. When Cheyenne who had delicate and fair features drove up in her luxury car and stepped out, she caught the attention of many students.
When she took off her sunglasses, there were even gasps of surprise.
âSheâ¦she looks like sheâs only sixteen or seventeen years old. She must be so rich!â exclaimed a girl in a school uniform.
Sitting across from her was another girl dressed in a blue blazer and plaid JK skirt with long hair cascading down her shoulders. With an oval face and almondâshaped eyes, she looked like a quiet and cute girl.
Mikaela Buck glanced at Cheyenne and suddenly thought of something, immediately lowering her head slightly.
She whispered to her companion, âSheâs Seanâs sister.â
âWhat?â
The other girl was so surprised that her jaw dropped as she incredulously looked at Cheyenne.
Sean was one year older than them and already eighteen years old. They heard that his sister had just divorcedâ¦
But the woman before them didnât look like an abandoned wife at all. Her skin was even more fair and smooth than theirs; no one would suspect that she was still in high school!
âYes, itâs definitely her,â Mikaela warned while sipping on bubble tea. âSean said that she isnât a good person, always seducing men while having an unpleasant personality. Donât mess with her.â
âLooks can be deceiving.â She appeared to be a decent lady, but it turned out she sucks!
Feeling the gaze of two people on her, Cheyenne paid for her purchase and looked around. Her eyes landed on two girls sitting in the corner who

seemed nervous and guilty.
Cheyenne silently noted their appearances but had other things to attend to today and didnât want to bother with these young girls
As she walked away, a black figure caught her attention by the roadside. Upon closer inspection, it was Kelvin holda a suit jacket while standing unde
the hot sun at ten oâclock in the morning. His handsome face glistened with sweat and his piercing eyes shone even brighter than usual
He had forgotten his phone and didnât usually carry cash with him either. After getting into a cab, he realized he had no money on him and was kicked out halfway by the driver.
Kelvin continued walking in embarrassment.
