THIRTY-FIVE
Stuck Up Meets Crazy. [COMPLETED]
"How dare he?" Cara scoffs as she paces around the sitting room ranting about Xander. Cassie remains mute, not knowing what to say.
She had earlier told Cara to let it all out and now she is regretting it. Cara is indeed going on and on about how much of a jerk Xander is and Cassie is just seated nodding repeatedly.
"He walked out on me like he's the victim, I should be the one walking out on him," Cara says while Cassie nods.
Cara's eyes widen like an evil mastermind who had just connected the dots. "He's trying to manipulate me with that stunt he pulled, but it's not going work. I am Cara Green and that shit doesn't work with me."Â Cara states and as always, Cassie nods. She continues ranting and Cassie continues nodding.
"You need to have seen the way he looked at me when I mentioned Mark, the nerve of that man." Cara continues, "The person who he should be mad at for sleeping with his best friend is getting the attention she craves from him."
Cassie nods even though it's a revelation that Liza cheated on Xander which is why they broke up.
"It's like I always been in a competition with her from day one." Cara voice breaks.
Cassie sits upright noticing the change in her friend's voice, "Are you crying?"
"No, why would I cry?" Cara says with a low laugh as she blinks her tears away. "My leg hurts, that all," Cara says as she slowly takes her seat. She stretches her swollen feet on the couch.
Cassie nods not believing that Cara is teary-eyed because of her feet.
"I can take a lot of things, you know that right?"
Cassie nods.
"I can take the comments under my tweets or Instagram post that says I am a gold digger or that I am ugly and I don't deserve being with Alexander. I can take Liza shady tweets, I don't even complain to him." Cara says as tears drop down her eyes. She is quick to clean it. "But what I can't take is if he still has feelings for her, I can't fucking take that."
Cassie doesn't nod this time, she stands up and walks to sit on the arm of the couch, just beside Cara. She strokes her curly hair.
"I am so in love with him that it scares me and I can feel it breaking me." Cara chokes out.
"He loves you too. You need to see the way he looks at you girl," Cassie assured her.
The room falls silent.
"I just want to get out of here," Cara mutters as she cleans her tears.
"We can leave our house tomorrow morning. You should get some rest, all this is not good for you." Cassie mutters.
Cara nods.

Mrs. Colton, the house cook watches Cara and Cassie walk upstairs. She heard all the drama that has been happening right from Cara and Xander's fight to Cara's ranting.
She smiles as dials the number that Liza has given her earlier this week when they met at the supermarket.
Liza offered her some money for information on whatever is going on in the mansion and Mrs.Colton was happy to accept it. She had voiced her wishes for Liza to come back to living in the mansion.
She also voiced her dislike for Cara who often gives her a day off because she wants to do the cooking. She fears that one day, they won't find any need for her if Cara keeps on doing her work.
She likes Liza who minds her business, all she does is decide what should be cooked that day.
After waiting for some seconds Liza picks up the call.
"Madam Liza,"
"Who is this?" Liza says, irritation lacing in her tone.
"This is Mrs. Colton."
Liza goes silent trying to remember who the hell is Mrs. Colton.
"I work at Sir Alexander's mansion." Mrs. Colton says jogging her memory.
"Oh, of course, I remember you." Liza lies, already excited about the information about to be told to her. "Do you have something for me?"
"They fought because of you today. Apparently, he doesn't say he was going to meet up with you yesterday night. Cara is so insecure and I don't blame her. She was crying, how pitiful."
Liza laughs out loud not being able to control it, "Awww," Liza pouts, imaging Cara's pitiful face. "Where Alex now?"
"He walked out on her. I don't know."
Liza smiles, "I think I might know. Thank you for the information." Liza says hanging up.
"Madam," Mrs. Colton calls out only to realize that Liza has hung up.
She sighs loudly before she turns around only to be frightened by Jonathan who is behind her.
She screams as she places her hand on her chest in panic. She fears that he heard everything.
"What are you still doing here? It's late you should go home."Â Jonathan says before he walks away.
She exhales in relief, realizing through his words he probably hasn't been there for long.

"Drinking alone, how pitiful Alex."
Xander groans in frustration as hears that voice he knows all too well.
"Are you stalking me?" Xander mutters.
Liza knew this is where he will be at. When they fought back then, Xander always gave her space and come here for some drinks.
Liza drops her bag on the counter and takes a seat on the barstool.
Liza raises a finger at the waiter, "I will have what he is drinking."
Xander looks at her with his side-eye before emptying his drink in haste. He is not going to share a drink with her like they are old friends and they are cool.
He gets down from the barstool and picks up his coat before attempting to walk away.
"Leaving so soon."
"I don't want to be photographed with you again."
"Why? Will it cause a fight between you and your girlfriend, Is she that insecure?" Liza spits with a smile.
Xander chooses not to reply to her. He just walks away.
"My dad is fine, thanks for asking?" Liza yells after him as Xander gets lost in the crowd.
"Asshole," Liza mutters under her breath.
She spots Xander's wallet which he must have forgotten to take in his attempt to run away from her. She picks it up and puts it in her bag.
She smiles at the waiter as she drops her drink on the counter.

Xander didn't come home last night. Cara cannot be more pissed off than she already is so when she found out, she just shrugs.
At least no one to stop her from leaving the house this morning. Cara packed a little bag containing her clothes and all the things she needs.
"Let me help you with that," Cassie says, taking the bag from Cara's hands.
They both head towards the door which opens before they can get there and reveals, if you guessed, Liza.
Just when Cara thought she cannot be more pissed than she already is, turns out all she needed to see was Liza's face.
"Wow, you have gotten really big," Liza says.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Cara asks, holding her phone tight, imaging it to be Liza's neck.
Liza walks into the mansion, in her short purple sundress and matching shoes. Her blonde hair in a messy bun, her face caked up like she is attending an event. She maintains a smile as she speaks, "I heard that you guys got into a fight because me and I want to apologize. My dad was sick and I didn't..."
Cara walks forward to interrupt her before she finishes her sentence, "Xander and I are doing just fine and our relationship is none of your business." Cara says with a tight smile.
Liza pouts, "Really? Because Xander was really upset last night. We had drinks together last night to take the edge off you know,"
All Cara can hear is that Xander was with her last night even after their fight. She tries to make herself feel better by believing it's a lie, all Liza does is lie anyways.
"What are doing you here?" Cara repeats her initial question.
"Xander left his wallet last night and I came to return it." Liza takes out her bag and brings Xander's wallet. She stretches it forward.
Cara looks down at the wallet and it's indeed Xander's own. She freezes as she keeps on staring at the wallet, she is going through various emotions at once.
Cassie walks forward and snatches the wallet off Liza's hands.
"How violent," Liza comments.
"I will show you real violence if you don't leave now." Cassie spits.
"Jeez, where did Xander get all these angry people from?" Liza rolls her eyes. Liza leans to her side to have a view of Cara who is still standing there quietly, "Bye Carazan," She says with a smile before she leaves.
Cassie turns to Cara who has started pacing.
"She is lying," Cassie says.
Cara stops pacing and takes out her phone and goes on Instagram.
"What are you doing?" Cassie questions.
She swipes to Instagram story before she brings her phone to her face and starts recording.
"To answer the most asked about question as to the reason why Alex and Liza broke up because I am tired of being painted as the bad guy who stole him from her. She cheated on him with his best friend, who's also her manager. She is not innocent, she is just a really good actress." Cara doesn't wait for the video to replay before she posts it on her story. She is not even thinking all she knows is that she wants to hurt Liza.
Cassie shakes her head in disapproval as she hands over Xander's wallet to Cara. Cara flings it away.
"Now let's go." Cara smiles.
