Chapter 1219
The Untouchable Ex-Wife
Renee looked around and did not notice any extra chairs, so she said to the waiter beside her, âMister, can you get me a chair?â
âUmm, about thatâ¦â He looked like he was in a difficult situation.
âWhatâs wrong? Iâm a guest, but I donât have a chair. So, I asked you to get a chair for me. Is it that hard?â Renee glared at him.
The waiter wiped away the sweat on his forehead and said carefully, âIâm sorry. Madam, but itâs a table for two. If we give you another chair, itâll affect the atmosphere in the restaurant as well as the dining experience.â
âAre you kidding me?* Renee was speechless. What kind of restaurant was this?
âOf course heâs being serious.â Seraphina sat across from Stefan and said sarcastically, âItâs a table for two, so obviously they donât have extra chairs. If I was in your shoes, Iâd be sensible enough to go to another restaurant instead of making things difficult for the waiter.â
Renee was already annoyed, and now, Seraphina had pushed her patience past its limit.
âYouâre right-it doesnât make sense to have a third person here since itâs a table for two. You have to be sensible too, so get up!â Renee barked at Seraphina, and grabbed her chair.
âW-What do you mean? This seat is mine! Why should I leave?â Seraphina did not expect Renee to fight back, and was furious when Renee tried to snatch her seat.
âWho told you this seat is yours? Does it have your name on it?â Renee asked rudely.
âStefan let me sit here. Iâm his fiancee, so of course this seat is mine!â
Seraphina protested indignantly.
âStefan let you sit here? Does this chair have Stefanâs name on it then?â Renee raised an eyebrow.
âUmm, wellâ¦â Seraphina couldnât argue with that.
âGet up!â Renee finally lost her patience and grabbed Seraphinaâs shoulders, nudging her up from the chair.
âRenee, how dare you?â Seraphina stumbled away from the chair, then swung around to glare at Renee angrily. Renee flashed her a triumphant smirk as she sat in the chair comfortably.
Renee then proceeded to ignore Seraphina as she scanned the menu and started ordering dishes.
âThis looks nice. Oh, this looks nice too. And this looks pretty good. Bring me all of these!â
She had ordered almost all the dishes on the menu.
After that, she closed the menu with satisfaction. Lifting her chin, she said to Stefan sweetly, âMaster Hunt, is there anything else you would like to eat? After all, youâre paying, so order whatever you want!â
Stefan pursed his lips, amused by Renee. He looked down to hide his smile and casually flipped through the menu. âMiss Everheart, you might be scrawny, but you seem to have a good appetite⦠I really donât know where the food goes.â
âWhat did you say? Scrawny?â Renee felt her face turn red in shame, and sat up straighter indignantly, âTH have you know that my figure is extremely attractive!â
Inwardly, Renee was thinking, âYou know better than anyone how good my figure is-stop lying!â
Stefan slowly looked up and glanced at her indifferently before saying, âBut youâre still not pretty enough.â
Renee was flabbergasted. Unable to accept his words, she immediately snarled, âExcuse me? I bet you just want a woman with big boobs, right?!
Youâre nothing but a lecherous pervert!â
