Chapter 133
The Untouchable Ex-Wife
âHah, youâre in for it now! Mr. Hunt will definitely make your life a living hell!â Jason said gleefully as he held onto his broken arm. Despite the pain causing him to break out in a cold sweat, just thinking about Reneeâs horrible fate delighted him.
He then turned to Stefan, trying his best to flatter him as much as possible. âMr. Hunt, why donât we take this matter into our own hands? An eye for an eye, right? Letâs break all her limbs so she wonât tarnish our industryâs good name!â
âBreaking limbs, huh?â Stefanâs eyes glinted dangerously. âThat does sound like a good idea.â
Renee felt chills run down her spine. She didnât expect him to be so cruel! âWe used to be married!
Even if it really was for the sake of hiding his sexuality, I was still his wife! He doesnât have to go this farâ¦â
Jason immediately started acting cockily, pointing towards the guards and shouting, âWhat are you doing just standing there? Did you not hear Mr. Hunt? Break all of her limbs! Letâs see if sheâll be so arrogant then!â
Just as the guards were about to take action, Stefan strode towards Jason and kicked him right on the chest, sending him flying backwards.
Stefan looked furious, not sparing Jason even the slightest glance as he ordered the security guards, âBreak all of his limbs.â
Jason was terrified, and the blood drained from his face. âMr. Hunt, what⦠What do you mean by that?
What have I done wrong?â
The large man wasnât the was absolutely stu âWhat is he playing at?â
too.
y one who was confused. Everyone at the scene, including Renee, Jason was terrified, tugging on the ends of Stefanâs pants and begging for his life. âWhat did I do wrong, Mr. Hunt?! I did what you told me to! At least give me an explanation!â
Stefan narrowed his eyes, his gaze lowered menacingly. âI told you to ask her to leave, I didnât say to kick her out. If you canât understand basic orders, you are useless to me.â
The guards werenât foolish enough to overlook Stefanâs implications, and knew what they needed to do at this point. Soon enough, Jason was dragged away, his haunting screams echoing down the hallway.
The rest of the crowd didnât dare to gossip about Stefan either, so they quickly dispersed. Soon, the exhibition hall was silent again.
Stefan was still standing in place, staring at Renee coldly. Despite not saying a word, his piercing glare was very intimidating.
The woman, however, pretended as if Stefan didnât exist. She quickly instructed the two interns to tidy up their exhibition area, which Jason had previously messed up. âThat screen is broken, so call the companyâs logistics department and have them send over a new one as soon as possibleâ¦â
As the interns knew all about Stefanâs power and status, they quickly got to work, not daring to even lift their heads. At the same time, their admiration for Renee only grew, especially since their boss didnât even care about how influential Stefan was.
âSheâs so cool! I canât believe it!â
Stefan obviously didnât enjoy being ignored and approached her, grabbing Renee by the wrist. â Donât tell me youâre actually serious about this.â
Renee frowned, feeling slightly perplexed. âI donât understand what you mean, Mr. Hunt.â
âYou and that Osborne kid established this shell company, and stole H Groupâs largest client from us.
Youâre only doing this to make me mad, arenât you? Well youâve achieved your goal, so why keep up the act?â
Renee finally realized what he meant. She scoffed and said sarcastically, âStefan Hunt, do you really think Liam and I established Azure Group because of you?â
âWhat else would you be doing all this for?â Stefan demanded, staring straight into her eyes. You took my lawyers and established a company to rival mine, so what could your motive be other than revenge?â
