Chapter 1466
The Untouchable Ex-Wife
Renee breathed a sigh of relief when she heard that.
âAdie didnât let me tell you guys because he didnât want you to worry about him,â Abby explained quickly.
âWell, he shouldnât have gone out without permission if that was the case.â Renee tried to calm herself down, then said to Margaret, âCall Adie and ask him where he is now, Margaret.â
âI did, but he didnât answer the call.â
âWhat about his location?â
âI canât find his location because his phone is turned off.â
âItâs okay, I know what to do. Get me a laptop.â Renee had purposely installed a tracking app on Adie and Abbyâs smartwatches in case they ever got lost. She could still track them with it even if their smartwatches were switched off or ran out of battery.
Margaret quickly carried a laptop over and clicked on the app based on Reneeâs instructions.Books Chapters Are Daily Updated Join & Stay Updated For All Books Updatesâ¦
Renee sat at the desk, feeling the keys on the keyboard, then started typing on it. A progress bar popped up on the screen, and after a few minutes, it reached 100%. Renee turned to Margaret and said, âYou should be able to see Adieâs location on the screen if nothingâs wrong. Can you see it?â
Margaret was surprised that Renee could still type even with her eyes closed. She peered at the screen and said excitedly, âYes, I can see it! He seems to be at⦠General Hospital.â
âThe hospital?â Renee frowned, looking perplexed. She had thought that Adie would find Jovanâs manor through her phone location and go there. Why was he at General Hospital instead?
Meanwhile, Adie stood at the entrance of General Hospital and looked up at the sign to confirm he was at the right place. He attracted a lot of attention given his cute looks.
âAre you alone, love? Where are your parents?â A female nurse stopped and asked Adie gently, admiring the adorable boy.
âIâm looking for someone.â Adie spoke like an adult as he asked the nurse calmly, âDo you know a patient called Stefan Hunt, Miss? Which ward is he in?â
âAre you here to see Mr. Hunt?â The nurse sized Adie up and grinned. âWhat a coincidence-youâve come to the right person! Mr. Hunt had brain surgery a few days ago, and Iâm the nurse in charge of taking care of him. Are you a relative? Should I take you to him?â
âHe and Iâ¦â Adie rubbed his chin thoughtfully. âIâm sure weâre family. Please take me to him, Miss.â
