Renee couldn’t be bothered to waste any more time with Jovan. She turned around, entered the car, and drove away from the gravesite.

She didn’t once look at Stefan’s so-called tomb.

Under the moonlight, Renee returned to Leia’s apartment in the city center as quickly as she could.
