Chapter 857
The Untouchable Ex-Wife
The noises eventually woke Adie up, who rubbed his eyes sleepily.
âAdie! Bad Daddy was biting Mommy again. I slapped him hard. Youâre right⦠Heâs terrible and always bullying Mommy! We donât want him anymore!â
Abby was too young to understand what she had just seen. She simply thought Stefan was hurting Renee by forcing her underneath him, so slapping him was considered a rather light punishment.
Stefan sighed helplessly. He patiently explained to the two little ones, âAdie, Abby. Iâve told you many times. That wasnât bullying. That was Daddyâs expression of love for Mommy. We were kissing.â
âI believe there are many who have kissed you too. Thatâs their expression of love to youâ¦â
âThatâs not right!â Abbyâs face was red. She said sternly, âOur uncles and aunts always kiss our cheeks and forehead, not bite our mouths. You were biting Mommyâs mouth. I saw clearly! Youâre bad!â
Abby complained in agitation, raised her hand, and slapped Stefan on the other cheek. This slap was hard and loud.
Stefan had two small palm marks on both his cheeks. Somehow, this was a pretty comical scene to see.
âAbby, listen to me. People have different ways of kissing in different relationships. Renee and I truly love each other. Weâ¦â
âI wonât listen! I wonât listen! Bad Daddy, are you a puppy? Why do you like to bite people so much?â
âThatâs not biting. Thatâs a kiss. Thatâs because I love your Mommy so muchâ¦â
Stefan racked his brains to explain himself. âAbby, be a good girl. When you grow up, youâll meet someone who loves you. By then, youâll understand what this means. Baby, be good. Donât be angry with me anymore, okay?â
âBwahahaha!â
Renee could not help but laugh at Stefan attempting to coax the little princess with the slap marks on his cheeks.
Who would have thought that the usually cool and arrogant Mr. Hunt would face such a struggle?!
Sure enough. Men with children, especially those with daughters, would do anything to make their children happy.
âStop laughing!â
Stefan was so embarrassed that he wanted to cry. He turned to Renee for help. âDear, please say something.â
Stefan had the lowest status in the family of four. It was up to Renee to say something nice about him and establish his image as a good father to the children.
Renee turned to the children after she finally stopped laughing. She reassured, âOkay. Abby, Adie. You donât have to argue with your Daddy anymore. Well, he didnât bully me. Heâs not a bad guy.â
Adie had a serious look and analyzed rationally, âMommy, if Bad Daddy didnât bully you, were you happy when he bit you?â
âAh⦠Ummâ¦â Reneeâs face flushed. How could she answer?
âMommy, please answer honestly. If you feel happy, that means you arenât hurt. If youâre unhappy, that means heâs bullying you!â
Adie acted like a little adult and interrogated Renee with a stern face.
âYes. I hope you answer honestly.â
Stefan grinned, looking forward to Reneeâs answer as well. After all, he never knew how she felt about their intimate moments.
âStefan!â Renee gave Stefan a fierce glare for chucking at her embarrassing moment!
