chapter 19

0.1 | The Bad Boy and The Cheerleader |✔|

Blank Space- Taylor Swift. Do you like her new album? If you do then what's your favorite song on it?

I'm dedicating this to Sarahdaison518! Thank you so much for the votes and the comment!

The whole plane ride to England was spent with me and Jules getting to know each other. He's actually a really nice guy, with a very cute accent. He was also very funny, knowing exactly how to make me laugh.

"Okay, here's a good joke. What's the difference between a snowman and a snowwoman?" He asks, a smile creeping on his face.

"I have no idea." I say.

"Snowballs." He cracks up and I just stare at him, horrified.

"Jules!" I screech, turning around to see if anyone heard what he said. Searching the airplane, I sighed in relief that nobody was listening to our conversation.

I hit him in the abdominal, watching as he crouches down, holding onto it. "Dirty minded, hormonal teenager." I mumble under my breath.

Once Jules recovers, he sits up and glares at me. "Jeez woman, no need to be so violent." He then pouts like a two-year-old. "That really hurt."

"You're a big guy, you can deal with it." I shrug, getting my headphones out to listen to music.

I plug it into my iPod and offer Jules one of my earphones. He accepts and I press play. Taylor Swift's Blank Space comes on and I squeal.

Now, I'm not a massive fan of Taylor Swift but I do love some of her songs, Blank Space, Bad Blood and 22 being some of the few that I love. Despite her being a snake, she's a good artist.

"Yas girl, Tay Tay." Jules says in a high-pitched voice, resembling a teenage girl. I burst out laughing at him, whilst he gives me a playful glare. "What? You jealous because she's my queen and not yours?"

I shake my head, highly amused by this. I've only known this dude for around 6 hours and all he's made me do is laugh. He has surprised me continuously throughout this journey.

I open my phone and find the camera. I'm going to video this and send it to the girls, to make Ren jealous that I'm sitting with a hot guy and to show them I am having a good time. They said they wanted me to take a lot of photos to prove this is a great trip. So, that's exactly what I'm going to do.

I turn on the video and press play, starting to sing the lyrics with Jules.

So it's gonna be forever

Or it's gonna go down in flames

You can tell me when it's over

If the high was worth the pain

Got a long list of ex-lovers

They'll tell you I'm insane

'Cause you know I love the players

And you love the game

We both sing together, giggling at each other. I think we both sounded pretty good but judging by the faces of people around us, they don't seem to think the same.

"Hi guys, already missing you, ish. And I told you guys I would meet somebody. Jules." I say to the camera, pointing at Jules. "He's my new best friend. Ooh, gotta go. Bye!" I then end the call and send the video to them.

Jules turns to look at me, placing his hand over his heart. "I'm your new best friend, I'm so touched." He then pretends to wipe a tear from his eye. "This is the best day of my life. I've always wanted someone called Annabella to be my best friend."

I giggle at his behavior. Jules has one of those personalities that you can't help but love. He's so outgoing and funny.

"I can now tick that off of my bucket list." He adds on.

I chuckle at him. "Yeah, you can."

"Bye Jules." I say, hugging him. We got off the plane not long ago and now we both have to part ways. Luckily, he's staying in London as well so we promised to go out on a shopping spree on Wednesday. I can't wait for it.

"Bye baby Anna." He whispers in my ear, using the new nickname he came up with an hour ago. He said since I was 'shorter than the average human', his words, not mine, that I resemble a baby. So, that's where baby came from. As for Anna, he said Annabella was too long and such a mouthful to say so he shortened it.

With that, he let go of me and walked to his parents. Is it bad that I miss him already?

I turned around and started to follow my parents to the luggage area. I kept a distance from them as I noticed they both had a gleam in their eyes. Mom kept giggling at dad whilst he just smirked. From the way mom hung onto dad and how he kept looking at her, I could tell something went happened on the journey.

I don't even want to think about what happened.

After getting the luggage, we hopped into a cab. Dad said the plan for today was to unpack at the hotel and then go to a restaurant to eat dinner.

I watch as the cab drives around London, my eyes widening at how busy it is. There are cars everywhere, honking at each other in annoyance. This place reminds me of New York when I went there for a weekend trip.

People walk on the pavement, with shopping bags on their arms, some on their phones. I notice some dancers, street artists, magicians and even mimes perform for the people.

I can't wait to go walking around here.

Eventually, we pull up at the posh Hilton Hotel that dad booked. We get out of the taxi and dad pays the guy, this time without any trouble.

Carrying the suitcases up the grand steps, the doorman greets us with a welcoming smile, opening the door for us.

Its gorgeous inside, with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling; comfy looking sofas to one side. I can just about see the dining room on one side and the club on the other side. Close to the grand stairs is the reception desk and right at the back of the lobby are several lifts.

We make our way to the reception desk and I zone out of what dad's saying to the receptionist. I look at the beautiful paintings on the walls and the pretty plants they have growing. How dad managed to pay for us to stay here is beyond me.

Once dad has finished talking to the receptionist, he hands the guy who takes our luggage the key and we follow him to the lifts. With him pushing our luggage on a trolley.

On the 25th floor, we get out. The guy pushes the trolley down the hallway that has many doors. He stops at room 25F and opens the door.

Stepping into the room, I'm in awe at how spacious and beautiful it is. I'm genuinely stunned at how magnificent it is. There is a living room with a TV, desk and a big dining table. There are two windows either side of the TV that both lead to a balcony.

Either side of the room is doors that lead to the big bedrooms. I go to the one on the right, claiming the massive room with a king-sized bed and en-suite as mine.

This place looks like its fit for royalty.

I collapse onto the massive bed and immediately sink into its comfiness. This bed is as comfy as a cloud. Not that I've slept on a cloud or anything but if I did, it would feel just like this.

I hear dad tip the staff; then leave.

"This place is amazing." I whisper, half-dazed at its beauty.

Dad comes into my temporary room, his eyes wandering around it.

"You got a nice room kiddo." He whistles. I narrow my eyes at kiddo but choosing not to say anything else. I don't want to start a petty argument whilst being on holiday.

"Yeah." I mumble and he leaves so I start unpacking. Because we're going to a restaurant in London, we have to dress up nice so I pull out one of my dresses. Specifically, the green dress that matches my eye color. Apparently, it brings out my eyes. I then got the curlers out that my mom insisted I'd bring and curl my hair so its wavy. Adding some lip gloss, eyeshadow and foundation, all I need to do is put on my green high heels and then I can go.

Once I'm done, I walk to the main room. I look at the clock that's on the wall and see its five o'clock. Tea time.

"Ready for some English food?" Dad asks, putting his coat on.

"I'm famished so yes." Mom replies, running her hands down her long blue dress. "How do I look?"

Stunning. She's wearing some make-up to enhance her soft features and she's platted her hair. Her black dress shows off her curves that's she managed to keep even now, at her age.

"Like the most gorgeous woman ever." Dad tells her, his eyes shining with love and awe. The way he looks at her is gross but also admirable. My dad is entranced by my mom and will always be. He loves her more than anything. "And Annabella, the dress is a bit too short for my liking but I'll let you off since you look stunning."

My cheeks slightly heat up so I bend my neck down, mumbling thanks. The compliment is heartwarming but deep down, I wish it was from a certain bad boy that has grey eyes.

"Let's go and eat then." Dad says and we go.
