Chapter 424
Even After Death
Ethan had stormed the island with his men. He said with bloodshot eyes, âFind Liv. Stop the kidney
transplant at all costs.â
The island wasnât that big. The men Ethan brought with him were war veterans. They quickly. infiltrated
the operating room.
The door was kicked open. There was already a cut on Oliviaâs waist, but it wasnât deep.
Ethanâs eyes went red when he saw the cut.
âFuck!â He yelled.
Brent and the others rushed onto the scene. âPut the scalpel down!â
Olivia stared at Ethan angrily and said, âWhy are you here?â
Ethan stumbled to stop her bleeding and replied, âIâm here to stop you from doing anything silly.â
The cut on Oliviaâs waist was quickly dressed.
Ethan carried her to the helicopter without saying another word. He was like a bandit taking a woman
from her home.
Olivia was livid. âBastard, let me go!â
She could only move one hand, and she used that hand to scratch at Ethan. The other hand was
dangling limply at her side.
Ethan looked at her arm with a pained expression. He didnât stop her from scratching his face.
âLet me go, Ethan! I wonât leave with you!â
âIâll never let you go, Liv. Never!â
It was like he was out of his mind. His heart ached when he thought he would never see Olivia again.
He didnât want to let her go, even if their relationship was in tatters.
Ethan had inherited some of the crazy genes of the Miller family.
Oliviaâs struggle was futile. It only served to reopen her wound. The blood flowed from her wound and
stained her shirt.
Ethan pulled out his trump card.
âMove again, and youâll never see your father anymore.â
Olivia stopped struggling and looked at Ethan in disbelief.
âIâm in this sorry state because of you. Why canât you just leave me be? If you hate me so much, just
kill me and appease your sister.â
Olivia closed her eyes as tears streamed down her cheeks.
Ethan frantically wiped the tears off her face and said, âLiv, I donât want you dead. I want you to live. I
promise Iâll never hurt you anymore.â
Olivia didnât want to listen to anything he said. She felt disgusted.
She felt nothing but regret that she ever loved a man like Ethan, who brought her so much misfortune.
He couldnât even allow her to lead a normal life.
Ethan carefully held Oliviaâs injured arm and said, âIâm sorry. It must have hurt.â
Olivia slowly opened her eyes, but her gaze was calm.
âEthan Miller, Iâll kill your sister if itâs the last thing I do. Weâll see how long you can keep her from me.â
Leia was the unresolvable conflict between them. Ethan looked at her with pain, but he didnât know
what to do.
âLiv, sheâs my sister, after all.â
Ethanâs expression was filled with distress. Olivia couldnât help but find it laughable.
After all that Leia had done, he tried to brush it off by claiming she was his sister.
âOlivia, Iâll keep her in check. Sheâll never hurt you again. Your cuts left her gravely injured. She is
actually very frail.â
Olivia didnât want to discuss the topic with him anymore.
She glared at him. âI donât know why youâre so persistent, Ethan. Weâre already at the point of no
return. We can never go back to how we used to be.â
âThatâs not what I have in mind, Liv. I just want to make it up to you.â
âHow? By shooting my other hand?â
