chapter 15
Change of Heart
Isaac POV:
Whispers straight away encircled me, it didn't even seem like they were trying to be subtle. People turned to look at me, shuffling slightly away as I walked through the hallway.
Weirdos.
"Still rocking that black eye I see." Jax was the first one to greet me, Harrison and Gemma talking to each other in hushed tones.
"How could I not?" I smiled.
"It looks worse than before." Gemma kindly greeted me, too nice Gemma. I rolled my eyes, some people were just jealous that they wouldn't be able to suit this as well as I could.
"It looks fine." Harrison clearly lied. Sure mate, sure.
"What happened to Dillon?"
"Suspended." Jax answered. "As he should be." I agreed completely.
"If you want, you guys can come to mine after school." Harrison spoke up randomly.
That sounded cool dude but um, grounded remember? Gemma and Jax, also forgetting my grounding situation, started agreeing and making plans.
"Uh guys.. hello." They finally stopped talking and turned to look at me. "I'm grounded." I reminded them.
"Just say it's for a school project." Gemma suggested, shrugging.
That could work depending on my moms mood. I would just have to hope she was in a good mood. The shrilling noise of the bell pulled me out of my thoughts.
"We can go call her now if you remember her number since we both have a free now." Harrison offered.
I nodded, following next to him to find a place where there wasn't anyone. Harrison handed me his phone, then I hesitantly typed in my moms number, and pressed call.
"Hello, who is this?" My moms voice came from the other side of the phone. At least she picked up though.
"Hello mom, it's Isaac." Harrison watched me with an intent stare."What's wrong? Why are you calling me in the middle of school? Are you in trouble again... or is something wrong with Zav-" My mom attacked me with a ton of questions, but I cut off her last one. No, not Zavier mom.
"No I'm fine. Ha ha." I let out an awkward laugh, thinking of the best way to word it."So there's this really important school project that we're working in groups and we have to complete it out of school, so I was wondering if I could go to Harrison's house, since we're in the same group." I braced myself for her response, not really expecting anything.
"You're grounded, you know that."
"Yeah but it's for school. It's important for my grade, and I already said sorry to Zavier." I ignored Harrison's look of amusement. Now two people found my shame funny.
She sighed, "I'll see." But I knew that was a yes.
"Thank you." I smiled proudly, putting a thumbs up to Harrison. He grinned back as I ended the call.
"So.. she said yes?" He guessed to which I nodded. She basically did in my books, if it wasn't a straight no, then it was a yes.
"Yeah we can go n-" I was saying, but stopped when we heard heel footsteps. Realising what would happen if we were caught, Harrison pulled me into the Janitors minuscule closet, shutting the door gently behind me.
My heart felt like it was about to pump out of its chest as we listened out for the footsteps to leave. I focused back on the position we were in, I was pressed against the door with Harrison leaning on me. It was quite uncomfortable to be frank, so I tried to adjust myself in a way, but all I did was make it worse, half 'grinding' on him.
"Oh shit sorry. I did not mean to do that." I whispered, mentally smacking my head. How dumb was I?
It seemed very.
The footsteps stopped, finally we could escape, until the chatter started. It sounded like a teacher talking to... Zavier?
"Fuck." I muttered. This might take a little while. I attempted again to move around, there was barely any space in here, it was a miracle things still fit in here. I tried to get off against the wall, shuffling around as 'quietly' as a person could.
"Isaac.." Harrison... groaned?
I stopped."What is it? Are you hurt?" I quickly asked, starting to move a bit again. I felt more free when I wasn't frozen in one position.
"No.. fine. Just please stop moving." He struggled to get his words out, pausing between each one.
"Why?"
"Because you're pressing against my dick."
"Oh shit." I stopped straight away, realising I in fact was. Then I covered my mouth to stop myself from laughing. This all just seemed so funny.
"Shhh." Harrison tried to shush me, but that just made me want to laugh more. I bit into my lip, urging myself not to laugh. "Isaac be quiet."
The chatter stopped, and the heels clattered away to whatever office she was going to. "Ugh, finally." I let out a sigh of relief, but Harrison didn't move. "Let's get out of here. Harrison."
"I'm kind of stuck." He sheepishly smiled. Oh God. I am not prepared to die in this claustrophobic room.
"Okay, okay." I tried to think of the best way to approach what I wanted to do next.
Since I was leaning back on the door, I would have to lean off it, then open the door, and Harrison would be unstuck. Perfect. Problem solved. Simple.
Except from the awkward fact I would have to essentially get up against Harrison and do some kind of hump.
"Okay. This might be uncomfortable, I'm sorry." I apologised in advance, making Harrison look utterly confused.
Trying to do it as swift as I could, I closed the gap between Harrison and I's bodies hearing a tiny groan from him, then opened the door quickly and stumbled out, coming face to face with Zavier.
"What the fuck?" He watched as Harrison came out after me, his cheeks rosy. "You two...?" He looked between both of us.
"No, No." I denied, realising how weird this would look. "We heard a teacher coming and had to 'hide', that's it. Anyways, we'll be leaving." I made my way to leave, but Harrison and Zavier were in some sort of glare trance.
Right then.
I pulled Harrison's arm, interrupting him from the trance. "What was that?" I didn't know they weren't friends.
"Nothing at all." He dismissed, looking around.
"Okay..." I responded hesitantly. How dodgy.
We walked in silence to the library, me sneaking quick glances at Harrison to see him half out of it.
***
Harrison POV:
"When's Gemma and Jax coming?" Isaac asked me, searching for something to watch on TV.
"They should be coming soon."
This morning was hard; in both ways. Isaac had practically humped me and he was...
oblivious.
Isaac was totally oblivious with the effect he had on me.
The small touches, the laughs, the smiles, and more.
"No look." Isaac adjusted himself on the couch so he was directly in front of me, completely forgetting about the fact he was meant to be finding something to watch. "If you do duck lips."
He waited for me to do it, but I gave him a doubtful look, so he reached forward and used his hands to push my lips together, catching me off guard. I tried to protest, but it just sounded like humming.
"It's not gonna hurt, just wait a few seconds." He repositioned himself, putting his knee dangerously close to my d- groin area.
"And you keep pressing it like that." He leaned closer, his knee accidentally brushing my dick. An involuntary moan, sounding more like a choked cough came out.
I grabbed Isaac's hands away from my lips, and let out a mumble of me going to the toilet, then rushed there, locking the door. I let out a relived breath that he hadn't followed, after all, it would be hard to explain why I got a boner from him touching my lips.
Isaac POV:
"Sorry, just felt the urge to pee." Harrison came back, looking a bit different.
"Okay, sure." I eyed him suspiciously but didn't ask anything else.
The doorbell rang and Harrison practically zoomed up to go get it. Someone was a bit excited, I grinned.
"I'm here bitches." Gemma's voice came out. "Yeah, only like 2 hours late." I exaggerated but smiled at her as she sat on the sofa next to me.
"How long will Jax be?" Harrison asked just as the doorbell rang again. Well, good on Jax for his impeccable timing.
Harrison opened the door, but instead it was a girl voice that answered, definitely not Jax.
"Tee, I thought you were going to a friends house again."
Tee? Was this a secret girlfriend? I turned to sneak a peek at her, but I realised this was the twin sister Harrison had told me about ages ago.
"So did I, but here I am." She strolled in, then realising Gemma and I were here, she slowed down.
"Isaac and Gemma, meet Hattie and Hattie, meet Isaac and Gemma." Harrison had an awkward smile on, he looked like he needed to do a shit.
We awkwardly waved to her as she went upstairs, most likely to her room.
"How come we never see her?" Gemma questioned him.
"She's always out. Like always." He sat down on the sofa next to me so I was now landlocked in between two people.
"Jax said he'd be here in about 30 minutes."
I had been unsuccessful in looking for what to watch, so now Harrison browsed and found this soppy movie.
"Really Harrison?" I sighed. "Shut up Isaac and just enjoy it." I shut my mouth at Gemma's retort; God, she didn't have to be rude.
I tried to enjoy it -I really did- but it was just so boring. The only exciting thing so far was Jax coming at the beginning, but even he now was entranced by the movie; or he was sleeping with his eyes open. A talent he had learnt.
In the middle of the movie, Gemma got up to get some water, but when she came back, she had the same look as Harrison: Flustered.
"What happened? Did the water turn you on?" I teased her quietly. She flipped me off and didn't say anything, but I swear I heard some footsteps going up the stairs and a door close. I could find out later what happened I decided.
My eyelids started to droop as the movie just wouldn't end.
I leaned closer to Harrison, "Harrison." I whispered, but he didn't react. "Yo Harrison." He still kept his eyes on the movie. "Harrison." I shook him slightly. He jumped a bit, then realising how close I was, tried to lean back.
"How long is this movie?"
"Oh my god Isaac is that it? You are literally a baby." He said all that but couldn't even answer my question.
"Yeah so how long is it then?" Could've just told me the answer straight away dumbass.
"Search it up, and please lean back, you're basically squishing me." He turned back to the stupid movie that I still didn't know when it would end.
I leaned even closer to Harrison, "Is this too close?" I decided to push his buttons more.
"Isaac please stop." He finally looked away from the movie, but still avoided eye contact.
"I don't have my phone, remember?" Seemed like everyone forgot about the party-grounding situation.
"Take mine." He scrambled to get his phone out of his pocket and unlocked it before handing it to me. "Just please go back to your space."
"Jesus Harrison I don't have rabies. No need to social distance." I rolled my eyes, but reluctantly leaned back.
I searched up the movie and it was fucking 3 hours long.
I think I'd rather stay at home grounded then watch this.
Seeing as Harrison wasn't paying attention to what I was doing, I looked for games I could play on his phone while the movie went on. In the end, I just scrolled on his explore page on instagram and played this car game he had.
"Wait.. are you still on my phone?" Harrison looked down at my hands. "Nooo definitely not. This is- er.. mine ... yeah it's mine."
"You don't have your phone." He pointed out.
"Then why ask?" Smart ass.
He sighed and snatched the phone out of my hands; the audacity. I slumped down more onto the sofa.
Only 2 more hours left of this movie.
I could make it.
Update: I fell asleep.
