"You're an Omega now? Recessive?"

As the car came to a stop in a quiet lot, Chairman Kang spoke up. His eyes, wrinkled with age, twitched slightly.

"Why didn’t you contact me as soon as it manifested? Did your mind change? Is that it?"

"Ah."

Sunwoo was suddenly reminded of what Kang Jin-tae had said to him. The voice asking if his mind had changed, wishing he hadn't, suggesting it would be better for everyone if things stayed the same.

"I don’t know what you’re talking about, Chairman."

Sunwoo had no idea what kind of deal Chairman Kang and Subsu had made or what words had been exchanged. All he could understand were the terms written in the contract.

However, from the way Chairman Kang and Kang Jin-tae spoke, it seemed like there was more to it. Perhaps it had something to do with the manifestation.

Chairman Kang’s gaze, which had been focused on the road ahead, finally turned toward Sunwoo. His eyes were sharp, almost snake-like.

"Good grief, I thought you were a bit smarter, but I guess I was wrong."

"Chairman."

"Well, fine. I suppose you must have some desires. Alright. If that’s what you want, I’ll let you have a child."@@novelbin@@

Sunwoo was taken aback by Chairman Kang’s unexpected words. Did he somehow know that he was pregnant? For a brief moment, that thought crossed his mind.

"But the child will be raised entirely under my family's care. You will have no claim to the child once it's born."
