Chapter 100
I Want a Divorce
Chapter 100 Almost Revealed Everything
Abigail looked at Luna and nodded gently. âYouâre right.â
âI think the whole situation is definitely related to Joan. Why else would they use that surname? Itâs cle
arly a provocation to you as the rightful wife,â Luna continued her analysis.
Abigail remained silent, focusing on her embroidery.
Luna, holding a tablet, was busy with her own tasks. Suddenly, she put the tablet down.
âI just remembered, you went with Old Mrs. Graham yesterday, didnât you?â Luna asked Abigail urgentl
y.
Abigail nodded. âYes, she took me. Sheâs been trying various folk remedies for my pregnancy.â
Luna stared at Abigail intently. âIs there
a possibility that Joan had someone approach Old Mrs. Graham and deliberately provoke you using he
r surname? She may not know you, but as long as it disgusts you, it wouldâve served her purpose.â
Abigail pondered for a moment and then nodded. âWhat youâre saying makes sense. If she wanted to u
pset Seanâs rightful wife, she definitely wouldnât approach someone close. After all, if Sean
found out, it wouldnât end well.â
âIf Old Mrs. Graham wasnât constantly finding doctors to induce pregnancy for you, Joan wouldnât
have had the opportunity to scheme against you. I bet the entire Grahams are against you!â Luna
said with resentment. âNot only that, but if Sean finds out, heâll probably protect that homewrecker
Joan!â
Abigail pursed her l*ps but didnât say anything.
With her head bowed, she quietly embroidered a rose, slowly digesting the bitterness in her heart.
She spoke gently. âSean and I are really not suitable for each other. His grandmother doesnât
believe me, and neither does he. Itâs clear they donât consider me family.â
Luna, upon hearing this, felt a surge of bitterness fill her chest.
âSo, Iâm not as upset about what she said, because from now on, I have nothing to do with
them,â Abigail said softly.
She had spent these three years enduring grievances, and she still couldnât wake up. It was her own
fault for letting Sean and Joan bully her.
âYes, we need to look forward,â Luna rea*sured.
After dinner, Kevin called Abigail into Lunaâs room.
âVictor and Damian both have to leave. Itâs Mr. Grahamâs decision,â Kevin said with a feigned
solemnity, but his eyes occasionally flitted between Abigail and Luna.
Abigail looked at him. âWhy isnât Nina leaving?â
âAlthough Damian tried to frame her, thereâs no evidence,â Kevin explained.
âIf thereâs no evidence, wonât they continue to investigate?â Luna insisted.
Kevin thought to himself that he was giving Luna a bit of leeway because Abigail was Seanâs wife.
He could only chuckle and reply, âThereâs nothing to investigate. In a place this small, itâs all just hearsa
y. There are no surveillance cameras, so how can they investigate?â
âDidnât they say anyone involved should leave? Why can Nina stay?â Abigailâs tone was cool and
composed.
Kevin felt that her
attitude had always been like this, but today, it gave him the impression of being interrogated
under harsh questioning.
He scratched his head, a bit hesitant. âNina has a good relationship with Joanâs agent, Sabrina. Joan pl
eaded with Mr. Graham for Ninaâs sake, out of consideration for their agentâclient relationship.â
Before Abigail could react, Luna coldly snorted and immediately started mocking, âSo if Joan can save
her with just a word, why bother investigating anything?â
Abigail looked at Kevin with icy detachment, her eyes devoid of any warmth. âSo, with just a word from
Joan, Nina gets to stay? And Sean agreed to this?â
âYesâ¦â Kevin was sweating, his scalp tingling.
âHow interesting,â Abigail said, her l*ps curling with sarcasm. She stood up and calmly told Luna, âIâm g
oing to change to a different place to stay. As I mentioned before, I wonât be taking
any more leaves. Iâm leaving the show directly, and Iâve already arranged to move.â
stepped forward to stop her âAbigail If you

Kevin
saw the determination on her face and quickly stepped forward to stop her. âAbigail⦠If you say Victor
has nothing to do with you, and you now leave the show, what will Mr. Graham think?
Your actions are just a slap in the face to him.â
Abigail looked at him with a cold smile. âAs if he hasnât done the same to me before, perhaps even
more. Let go.â
Kevin quickly released her.
Abigail didnât even look back; she just opened the door and walked out.
Even in her anger, she didnât slam the door. She closed it gently.
Luna coolly began packing her things. âTell me about the penalty for breaching the contract. Iâll pay it be
fore I leave.â
âUh, no, sheâs just an a*sistant. If she leaves, she leaves. You can stay and continue with the design w
ork. It has nothing to do with you, right? Youâre making it sound like sheâs Alana, and youâre just an a*si
stant,â Kevin said, suddenly changing his tone and laughing carelessly.
Luna instantly calmed down, narrowly avoiding revealing everything.
