Chapter 259
I Want a Divorce
Chapter 259 I Believe Him
Abigail frowned the moment she entered the toilet. âI know you didnât want me to lose out, but we need
to think this through.â
Everyone in the circle was close, and making enemies wasnât good for L.Moonâs development.
âWhy donât you discuss this with Ericâs company
again? I can let you know that we have all the evidence. The video is complete with sound. His compan
y wouldnât be able to let you lose out!â Luna talked with her in a low voice.
Abigail hummed in acknowledgment and hung up the phone. She then dialed the number Luna gave h
er, but all she got was a busy signal after trying numerous times.
She waited for a minute before calling again, but it was still the same busy signal. So, she
had no choice but to give up for now.
Then, she messaged Luna before turning around to leave the toilet.
Sean noticed her return and asked, âFound a solution with Miss Smith?â
âNot yet,â Abigail answered.
âYouâre still too young. Ericâs company is obviously stalling you. Theyâre trying to pull him out of this. Th
ey keep saying that they want to discuss things with you, but itâs just to stall your time,â Sean comment
ed frankly.
At first, he didnât want to bring this up since she was determined. However, it seemed that she was still
being too nice to Eric. Does she not want to harm that man who tarnished her name that much?
âBut didnât you give that video? If Ericâs company is playing tricks, I can post the complete video,â Abiga
il answered calmly.
âMany things are involved in the video. Can you put everything out there? The missing child of the Pear
sons is a secret. What would they think if you revealed it?â Seanâs gaze turned sharp unconsciously.
She pursed her l*ps as she couldnât retort his question.
âBut I donât want to make enemies in the industry too.â Her tone was honest.
âAbigail, I know you guys donât like me, but do consider my advice. Make the statement ASAP. You can
still afford to offend a star of Ericâs level and his company.â He meant what he said, expressing himself i
n a solemn tone.
âWhen you say you can still afford to offend, I guess that includes you, right? If it is, then I canât. You
hould know how troublesome your family is, Mr. Graham.â Abigail insisted on her own
opinion.
âWhy canât you trust me just once?â Seanâs voice was filled with pain.
âThis has nothing to do with trusting you. I just donât want to have anything to do with you. I think you sh
ould respect my wishes,â Abigail said as she sat beside him.
She avoided him like the plague.
Seanâs
eyes flickered. A moment later, he clenched
his fists while suppressing the turmoil in his heart. âThen, letâs
just talk about it. What happens if Ericâs company releases a statement first, and itâs unfavorable for yo
u and L.Moon?â Sean questioned in a cold tone.
Abigail turned her head to the side and looked at him seriously. âThen, itâs up to Eric. It may be ridiculou
s in your eyes. But I believe in his character. He didnât run away and took the initiative to call me. I shou
ld give him a chance to explain things to me and L.Moon.â
A hint of bitterness flashed across his eyes. In the most dire times, she trusted Eric, but not him, who w
as once her husband. However, he had to admit that Abigail made sense as Eric braved the huge press
ure on him to call and apologize to her, which earned Eric a good impression in Abigailâs heart.
When Kevin returned, he noticed that something was off between Sean and Abigail. It felt like they argu
ed, but Abigail wasnât angry. In fact, Sean was the one looking a little down.
âWant a drink?â He pa*sed a cup of iced strawberry fruit tea to Abigail.
She reached out to accept it. âThank you.â
âOh. Donât mention it!â Kevin then sat down and glanced at Sean.
But Sean was busy working on something on his tablet and didnât look at Kevin.
When it was announced that the airplane was ready for boarding, Abigail threw away the remaining half
cup of tea.
As they were boarding the plane, Kevin insisted that Sean walk a little slower.
âHow was the chat with her? It feels like youâre distracted,â Kevin asked in a whisper.
âNot very good,â Sean replied. âIn conclusion, any man is better than me in her eyes.â
Kevin heard that and glanced at Abigailâs graceful figure before them. âSince you know you were wrong
, apologize for it. Sheâs liked you before, but you didnât appreciate it and hurt her. Take this slow. You gu
ys have just been divorced not too long ago.â
âIf I can control it, wouldnât I take it slow too?â Sean asked in return.
It was because many people around Abigail treated her very well, and he was afraid that she would lea
ve his side the moment he wasnât looking.
âSigh. âWise man does not fall in loveâ is her current mentality. Ericâs a pretty nice guy, but she still rejec
ted him, let alone you.â Kevin looked at Sean with obvious comparing intent in his eyes.
